Love your honesty in these reviews. Getting sick of the TH-cam reviewers who like everything because they want the gravy train of free review units to continue. Well done, Vortex!
Thanks very much and I am always impartial as lying to your viewers gets you nowhere ultimately and you loose any respect / reputation you have. Honesty is the best policy 👍
I have then the VX pro+ by ear mine sound fine. I got a really good air tip medium sized that come on them then I got the set of 3 tips. I haven't tried the USB c cable yet. But I payed for mine. I didn't get a reviewer set so mine might be a bit better quality control. I've noticed people had them early.
This is why I always suggest to start with a $100 IEMs. There are some good budget ones, mostly dynamic driver IEMs like waner series, Zero 2 and Wyvern Abyss.
I have VX Pro, the old one, I love them as my daily driver IEM. The orignal was made of metal (magnesium aluminium) and I can proof it. Anyway, I don't plan to buy the new one. Plastic reduced treble and increase bass.
I like the VX Pro a lot, but might get this as an on the road banger unit. I wished they'd kept the black color for the metal, instead of just sliver and dark blue.
It's "metalised" plastic. In other words it's plastic, laminated with shiny paint. I find it more comfortable than the original VX but more importantly NO MOISTURE build up on the nozzles. EVERY metal TRN set I've had has done that.
They put probably their worst cable on this lol. Anyway trn iems are definitely a mixed bag. I liked the conch and my old mt4s (before they cracked RIP.) Thankfully i watched your review of this before buying lol i woukd definitely have regretted it.
@@VortexReviews1 yea, I can't even say cost cutting since the conch alone has accessories valued at like $20 so maybe they're trying to move on from these cables?

I didn't really get mine early and far as I am aware mine is just a retail unit.
Better less BA's of better quality. Sounds like the old Ba5 is better then this? Nice review. I might have been interested in this. Mistake avoided.
Cheers.

👍
Id never do this with any hobby lol. Itll just make any hobby look unaccessible and expensive. There are great iems at $20 and even lower lol
@@Unlucky1776 it depends. I like having a better set than two three good ones.
@@Helmond2017 and at $20 or so the wan'ers are available which are so easily tuned (by autoeq) that they're worth it just for that lol
@@Unlucky1776 eq can only do so much.
I've never purchased a TRN iem that DIDN'T have a huge channel imbalance. I stopped buying them years ago now.
I tend not to try many TRN model these days.
Is it good for basshead?
Nearly

What plastic?
This is the 3rd review mentioning the body of VX Pro+ felt like plastic with silver painting to look like metal

TIENE BLUETHOOT?
What do you mean?
No BT
@@saucyg6371 It does not have BT. They never advertised it with Bluetooth.
@@VortexReviews1 I know, i was letting the other guys know. The language is Spanish

Cable is poor for what the model is supposed to be.
@@VortexReviews1 yea agreed. Idk why theyll put their good cables on $24-30 iems (conch) and then randomly not do it. Very disappointing
@@Unlucky1776 The cable with the interchangeable connectors is nice but no idea like you say why they don't use it with their more fancy models.

I prefer the smoother Zero 2 tuning.

These companies are getting ridiculous.😅

@@UFO-Audio Indeed. Never tried it though. Probably sounds awful.
