TRN has upped its game. This one checks all the boxes and sounds great with a balanced cable. I was also impressed by your well clipped and clean fingernails.
Great review! Got me really interested in these... How does it compare to the Moondrop Aria, specially in terms of soundstage, bass, detail, resolution and clarity? Since the Aria is quite the standard in this price range. Thank you very much!!!
Great review mate, I really enjoy your style. Have you tried the original TRN VX? Someone asked me to get them an iem so that they can upgrade from the apple buds, but they really want a green IEM and I'm having problems chosing one that is below about 80 dollars, so far I'm stuck choosing between the ks2 and the VX, I'm just scared the ks2 may not be good enough to impress and the VX be too agressive.
Yes I have a written review for the original VX on the website and I think it would be too hot for someone coming from Apple buds. The KS2 is is great little IEM and has a sound signature more akin to the iBuds. I can't think of any other green IEMs in that price range either!
@@PrimeAudioReviews thanks for the response mate, I'll keep that in mind, could the same be said for the tkzk wave? just found out those come in green too. Still leaning more towards the ks2 but I'm just trying to make sure they get a banger first iem so that they can get into the hobby and start looking more into the sound than the shell.
The Meteor has better imaging and the midrange is more forward. But if you like percussion the vx pro's treble is really nice so long as you're not treble sensitive.
David, how is the note size and timbre on these compared to CRA? which one is thicker sounding? Also does the bass extend as much as CRA's does with better texture?
Note size is slightly bigger on vx pro and its overall sound a little thicker but is far from dark sounding because of its lovely treble tuning. Bass extension is probably better on CRA but I would need to A/B to be sure.
Tin Hifi T3 Plus is what comes to mind for under $70. Compared to the CRA, VX Pro has thicker bass and more forward, sparkly treble. It has better overall resolution too.
@@PrimeAudioReviews how about detail retrieval and soundstage? I heard OH-10 has very big soundstage, can vx pro srand toe to toe with it in that region?

After the KATO's you job got harder. I have had mind for about a month. Perfection. Best, D.
Suggestion to all IEM manufacturers: Give us the opportunity to buy your IEMs without a cable for a even better price.
@Fach Yutuob In case of the TFZ T2 PRO you can order it with (70$) and without (35$) a cable. Anyway this is the first IEM I've seen this option.

TRN VX PRO vs. KZ ZAX? Which is better and why?
Thanks.
Thank you!!! I have a pair of CCA 6 driver per iem. Was curious how different 3 more BAs would seem.
P.S. I made a few mod's to the KATO's. Comply tips, Forza AW solid copper 4.4 cable and XLR dongle. $230 upgrade, but worth it. Best, D.
I currently have the TRN V80S since 2019... Been look at these for a possible upgrade... Between this and the X7
Yes both are pretty nice. VX Pro is brighter so if you don't like treble the X7 would be better.

Get him blon bl 05s with better eartips
Nice review, do you think these are better than the Tri Meteor for hard rock/heavy metal?
The Meteor has better imaging and the midrange is more forward. But if you like percussion the vx pro's treble is really nice so long as you're not treble sensitive.
Nine drivers isn't needed if they tune it right ? How do they hold up against my favorite CCA-C12
How do they sound for gaming if you dont mind ne asking ?? You are one of the few youtubers who reviewed it
Good - very detailed with good soundstage.

what would be the best IEM under $70 ? how would you compare these to the CRA's ?

Should I buy these... been on the fence for over a month now.
Yeah, it's really good.
How do these compare to the Salnotes Zero 2? Is it worth the upgrade?
Yeah, different kind of sound. VX Pro's midrange isn't as forward plus it has better treble extension and detail retrieval.
Question:How does it sound compared to the moondrop aria?
Aria has a darker and less detailed albeit smoother sound. VX Pro sounds more dynamic and cleaner with better micro details.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thanks for the info
This or the plus version?
I haven't tried it.
@PrimeAudioReviews is the regular pros neutral?
Im new to IEM's. Whats wrong with those cables?
They just get tangled easily and it's the same cable that comes with many of the budget IEMs.
Is the sub-bass as thumpy as say ikko oh10?
The OH10 has much bigger sub-bass but VX Pro is still fun.
@@PrimeAudioReviews how about detail retrieval and soundstage? I heard OH-10 has very big soundstage, can vx pro srand toe to toe with it in that region?
@@Mykeoguns OH10 stage is slightly bigger but that's because it has a more recessed midrange.

Vx pro vs tinhifi t2?
Both really good. VX Pro has more bass and clarity. T2 has is more linear and airy. I find VX Pro fit is much more comfortable.
