It can haul 8 people, and it can haul 5000lbs, but not at the same time. You’d be far over GVWR.

Will it tow 5,000 without being equipped with trailer brakes? This example only has a 4 pin connector.

Absolutely not. Anything that being towed over 1000 pounds is supposed to have trailer brakes.
