    Thank you for making this video. It gave me the knowledge and confidence to tackle the project. I’ve done pads in the past but have been intimidated by rotors - now I realize how easy it really is.
    Thank you for sharing the tools you used. I don’t know what I would have done without that JIS-3 impact screwdriver.

      I’m happy to hear my video helped out! And yes, that impact screwdriver is great. It has saved me many times.
      Take care,
      Dan

    Great video!
    my 2021 odyssey was having vibrations when braking highway speeds, i replaced pads and rotors at 68,500 miles. The pads were almost new, but the rotors were warped i guess.

    I just did all 4 brakes. The Japanese screw driver worked for 3 of the 4. The last one wouldn't budge. I used a Philips #3 (PH3) and a Milwaukee impact drill. It came right out!

      @@RobertFarrell-bg3jd I’m happy to hear you got them all without having to drill any of them out!

    How are you finding a place for the screw driver to push the pistons back in? I can’t find a spot to grab.

    1. Great professionally done job.
    2. It was a concern to me that my Wife's 2023 would one day need brakes and I wouldn't be able to do the job for lack of a scanner.
    I've done my own brakes for 40 years on my, my kids,, my parents and a few friends cars but was worried Honda had followed Ford and GM req'g spcl equip't.
    Thank you very much.
    These Odyssey brakes are the same process as our old '07 Honda Element.

    Great video. Why copper anti seize over the non-copper?

    • @DantheFixitMan
      @DantheFixitMan  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you. Either one should be fine to use in this application. The copper just seems to last a little longer and can withstand higher temps than aluminum anti-seize.

    Would this be similar to a 1995 Odyssey?

    Great video! Can you use standard brake part lubricant for the pistons or do you need calliper grease specifically?

    So when you put the electric parking brake motor back on do you have to do anything to the screw that you turned clock wise so you can push the piston back to make room for new pad

    • @DantheFixitMan
      @DantheFixitMan  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Pump the brakes until they feel firm, and then when you start the car and apply the parking brake it will self adjust. You will hear the motor running longer than it usually does. It may give a warning light on the dash initially, but it will go away after you turn the car back off and on again.
      Best of luck to you.

    Wow, the Tonya Harding method?? Yea, she messed up cute Nancy. But is funny the way you use it here against those rotors.
    Thanks again for this great videos.
