New Brake Pad & Rotor Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1ABF...
This video shows you how to install new front brake pads and rotors from TRQ on your 2006-2011 Honda Civic. Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2006 Honda Civic
2007 Honda Civic
2008 Honda Civic
2009 Honda Civic
2010 Honda Civic
2011 Honda Civic

Thanks homie. Boutta change my break pads like a pro
Wow this is fantastic instruction on how to thoroughly perform this replacement
If your pads aren't OEM there's a chance they'll be slightly too long to slide into the bracket properly. You may need to file/grind down the ears until they fit smoothly. Would've saved me an hour or two of frustration had I known. Hope this saves you some time!
If you have trouble getting the rotor screws out or you strip them, just drill them out. They aren’t necessary anyway
What anti-seize spray was used @4:49
1aauto shown the break pad install backwards. Your video is right. Mine are done the way you did these. 1aauto that other guy did his backwards. . But this video installs the pads the right way the only way. There is no bi and half way. I did a break pad rotation last nigh. And fixed it. Cause it was causing break pull and lack of power and smells.and heat.
Does the slide pin with bushing go on top or bottom? Thanks in advance
My break rotors won't come out, and I've taken out all the screws its rusted so I assume thats why but any recommendations?
has all needed info!
I have Honda Civic 2008 LX. I have ordered a set of front rotors with pads (S/N: BKA10834). You website says it should fit my model, but the caliper does not fit in with the pads in place. Plus the pads do not fit in tightly and fell out.
Thanks for sharing ❤.
Do t you have to squeeze the calipers. Mine usually I have to use a vise or something like
Nice content
I only have the parts. Not the cleaning agents or cool brushing you have 😅. I don't have the money for all that. Do you think I should just take it into the dealership?
What if I don’t have pads? Like it’s just metal on metal
How long will these brake pads and rotors last
I used the impact on my slide pins and snapped the bolt off
Where is your shop?
