Guide on what zones have what gathering materials in them with spawn locations. Like mining, herb, leather from mobs if any. Ya catch my drift? Lot of zones though.
For those of us who never got to experience vanilla endgame before TBC came out, this is so interesting. I was lvl 52 when Outland opened up, so there was no 60 raiding for me. I always wondered what the quests were like and they seem similar to the draconian Legend of Zelda quests you had to do for the Biggoron's Sword and whatnot. I love all the Azeroth-trotting to get this stuff, like the key that can only be forged at the top of the Un'goro volcano. And I never knew the Scarlet Key had more of a purpose outside of SM. : D
When I was in a party that didn't have a key or rogue for scholomance, somebody would volunteer to get naked and keep jumping off the roof until dead near the entrance. Rez just inside the door and open from the inside.
Hey man just wanted to say thanks for the guide, you're literally the only half decent guide out there that covers the starting point for horde on the skeleton key.
Ah the memories of going back to get all of these keys in BC since I started playing at the very end of Vanilla. I paired up with a friend that had been deployed in the military when people were gathering the keys originally and we spent weeks tracking them all down with good old thotbot.
I think these sorts of videos. I think it is a little more thorough than the one Kargoz did a while back, but it is also so similar. It's a good resource for dungeons dives to link up to though. Thanks Melderon!
reminds me of the good old days where you had to get grps now you can easy solo things in current wow, the mobs were so much harder and the grind just to get those keys is amazing now you just go and kill stuff and then its done here you actualy have to spend hours to find out how to get keys and stuff i am excited for classic wow to come! :D
Worth mentioning that anyone with the quest can loot the item left behind by Araj when he dies; it spawns in the game world, it doesn't come from his corpse. So if you can't find a group, or if another party has already tagged him, just hang around and wait for him to die.
You don't have to clear the top if one has the dire maul key or rogue...you click on him run out. Go to side entrance click on him run out...go to back entrance clear to him than you can fight and have the key.
Man. That brd route was the ultra long way around. XD Just go through the arena and then up and over. 15 minute run tops and the arena drops some BiS gear too. Although in hindsight it like 400% makes more sense from blizzards to go your way see more of the dungeon and kill more bosses.

@@volauron Actually, it was exactly like that. This happened to me. Not once, not twice, but several times. You pay them and they just don't open the door. They didn't all do it. But there were enough assholes around who made you pay and then just left you standing there looking like an idiot.
