best dev update ever made. great video. not just informative but entertaining at the same time! hope a lot of ppl will apply!
You are all absolute rockstars. This project has come so far, and I can't wait to play it when you're happy with it. Sticking out a volunteer effort this long is insanely impressive. We love you for your work, and keep the faith.
15:27 really taken aback by how incredibly good the voice acting is here
same
whoever made the vfx for recall is a genius. good job to the team and im super excited to see progress next year
This project is absolute modding madness, what a undertaking! Respect to all and everyone involved! I will be celebrating when the final product finally finds the way onto my SSD and i can touch this remaked/remastered masterpiece! Thanks to all of you involved! The modding scene in general is the one who keeps the games alive...in some cases even over decades! Such Awesome!
This is way more exciting than I ever could have imagined. And the art direction for this whole project is truly splendid.
You guys earn no money with your endless and inspiring work, but you already earned my respect! I am looking forward to sink endless hours into Skywind, when it's finally done! ❤
I can’t wait to live in it.😂 Seriously incredible work guys, the dedication is truly beautiful. I’ve been waiting patiently & will patiently wait some more to experience this whole project come to life 🙏
This brings me back to another time in my life when I used to work on games. INspirational!
I’m gonna tell my kids this was the making - of Morrowind. lol
The voice-acting segment had me rolling 😂 “Put it back- put that thing back or so help me!”
“Never-ever-eneee”
*sigh* as someone who’s followed this project since roughly the beginning when it was still mostly forum-talk, i’m so grateful and in awe of the immense talent, skills and all the work that has been drawn together to create this amazing piece of art. All of you working on Skywind are beautiful. Thank you for your work and continued dedication
So excited for this project! I never played Morrowind so this will actually be my first experience with it!
As a bonus, my wife got cast as Eydis Fire-Eye! I'm so excited for everyone to hear her lines!
OMG how do you manage not having played it for this long and the wifey in it? I guess you've seen a lot of it through these videos and such, is it a constant pressure and torture to stay away from it and not play it?
Don't stand about. Get moving!
@@guillermojperea6355 You're right, it is! I can't wait for them to have it ready to play so I can check it out!
I would buy a console and a tv just to play this
@@PureAeternum dude it's for PC only
This is the single most important mod to me and many others morrowind means so much to us. This team and modding community is by far some of the most committed people and it shows. No matter how much time it takes i hope we can all support one another to see this through in its entirety. Thank you Skywind team
The perk system is a HUGE addition! I nearly shat my pants when I saw that. The temptation to learn one of the technical skills required to contribute grows...
Guys, this looks incredible. Everyone involved should be so proud of themselves! Keeping going on a long project like this is so difficult! You have my respect!
The day this project comes out will be monumental in the history of both RPG gaming and modding. Looking forward for that day!
Having a breakdown of all the progress percentage-wise is super helpful. It gives a much better idea of things. Thank you for this!
Astonishing work that left me drooling for this masterpiece of fan love. I sincerely and deeply hope Bloodmoon and Tribunal are next on schedule once the main game is done. A thousand cheers to you!
The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Time will tell, but there's definitely an appetite for it among the team!
It's pretty awesome and quite beautiful that this is a community effort. I love the unity showcased here, with everyone working on different parts towards a singular goal.
You guys are LEGENDS, what a spectacular undertaking. Immensely impressed by what you've accomplished so far. Patiently waiting to experience it for myself!
The amount of progress that has happened over the last bit of time of this project is genuinely mind blowing. Thank you all so much for your hard work!
This is amazing. I never played Morrowind but seeing all these passionate and talented folks come together to make this happen is very inspiring.
jesus you guys are absolutely out of your minds and i cannot praise you enough for it, vivec be praised!
"For some, madness is the greatest of blessings."
Holy hell looks like we’re finally getting there. Been keeping an eye on this since 2014. I also appreciate that it looks like the team does on some level understand there’s times when you need to rein it in like was mentioned in the VA mastering section.
You people are incredible, not much else to say, cannot wait to play this.
This is one of the projects that Inspired us to make the Immersive Quests Addon for ESO which adds TES3 directions to ESO ! Keep it up guys thanks so much for the Inspiration!
This progress is insane. I can't believe it. What a great job!
Im new to the elderscrolls havent even finished Skyrim and i think this is how im gonna experience morrowind
Thank you for sharing this update! Loved the voice actors!
Damn that YOUR BLODLINE ENDS HERE line was fire
I was gonna say the same thing, no idea who they are but all these VAs are amazing!
😀
She certainly loved saying it lol
She's definitely done metal vocals before lol
The fact that you've put in the extra effort to bring back a lot of what made Morrowind special is insane. Extra clothing slots, new spells, all the bloody dialogue (and fully voiced by the looks of it). You're all mad. Inspiring. But very definitely mad.
It looks wonderful, guys. Keep up the good work. I, among many others, no doubt, will look forward to spending some hours in the world you've been building.
For me, it will be stepping back into a world I love. Morrowind remains my favourite Elder Scrolls, and it's been enough years now that I've probably forgotten a lot of it, so I look forward to exploring it all over again.
Thank you so much for this video. I'm eager to dive back into Vvardenfell!
Hearing that gravelly Dunmer voice say “Neverevereen” was hilarious tho
Never-ever-een is the prophesied reincarnation of the Nerevarine. Just pity the poor Wise Woman who has to foretell the coming of the tenth incarnation. Nerevearevarevarevar....
@@tesrskywindLooking forward to you working on the sequel. It is going to be a Nevereverareverarinending story.
@@tesrskywind Just put the "Nerevearevarevarevar" as dubstep music soundtrack next time.
Love the transparency and I’m so hyped for this release! I know this has been a long time in the making but sincerely I believe this work of passion and love is worth the wait. Thank you for your dedication and care to something people hold so dear!
I love to see this video was released. My heart feels warm knowing we are a few steps from having this project done. Im about to cry
I love that you are doing Day/Night Music for all the Regions! Octopath Traveller 2 does that aswell, and it is sooooo atmospheric.
Really glad to see the astonishing amount of progress the team made.
Wow, wow, wow, wow & WOW!!!!
I'm 5 minutes in & it looks so damn amazing.
I tried playing Morrowind sometime ago, bit it was so... aged that I couldn't get into it, but with this I can & I thank you for allowing me & others to experience what it is likely the best of the Elder Scrolls games.
Can not wait to jump into this!
with a couple of mods it looks good and is quite demanding on max graphics especially in bigger cities
Your depictions of bonemold armor, kwama creatures, and ald ruhn are PHENOMENAL! I already know this is going to be an incredible adaptation because you've absolutely nailed 3 of the main anchor points that make Vvardenfell the otherworldly setting that it is.
I really can't express my gratitude and excitement for all this elder scrolls projects: Skyblivion, Skywind, Beyond Skyrim and all the mods still in development for skyrim. Thank you for your hard work!
I love how much fun the VA’s looked and sounded like they were having!
I agree! This is some of the coolest VA I've seen in some time.
The idea of playing Morrowind with Skyrim's graphics sounds AMAZING! And since the people creating this mod, loved and understood Morrowind, I imagine that this restoration of TES 3 will be a great improvement to the original.
Bringing back all of the armor slots and all of the skills from Morrowind - even spears??? Fantastic. You folks are amazing
You can actually put your ARMOR over your CLOTHES! That was the biggest gripe I had with Skyrim’s armor system! It made the ancient falmer armor look so stupid! And you can swap the pants out too? Is it Christmas?
So happy to be part of this project! Everything looks so good!♥
Wow I'm sooooo incredibly glad you guys decided to do this, Skywind is way farther along that I was imagining! Superb video
This and Skyblivion are something that I'm looking forward to the most! Can't wait to enjoy what the OG TES fans have played before.
Wow,been waiting 20 years for this to be re-done,,and with more being added,,i can't wait, keep it up please
You are incredible!!! And incredibly talented!!! Each and every one of you is making this ambitious, epic project into a veritable jewel of the gaming skies!!! ❤❤❤😍
Love how spectacular everything looks AND SOUNDS! Thank you so much for putting in the work and pouring your hearts into Vvardenfell ❤
You guys are amazing for doing this. Thank you to the entire team.
Just learned about this project today and am quite excited about it! Despite having been gaming since ~1980 (yes, I'm old) I've never been able to force myself to play the pre-Skyrim games as the graphics are just too... much... plus other various issues. Learning about Skywind, and I Skyblivion, is just awesome.
By the way, the music at 5:15 grabbed my attention so thoroughly that I fought with Shazam until it gave me a result (apparently I'm the sixth person to do so 🤣). My compliments to Mr. Richards on such a lovely piece. Now to finish the rest of the video! 🙂
So much work already done.
After each video about update i am more and more excited :)
Congratulations, and I hope you will find the people you need.
my entire life has changed since i first heard about this project - yet I'm still so excited to play it - thank you Team SKYWIND for all your hard work!
Excellent work, guys! After all these years I'm still waiting for this mod! Can't wait to finally play it. :)
Holy fucking shit man. This was a legendary update
I'm so excited for this, and the work you've all done so far is just mind-bogglingly (real word...) impressive. Special shout out to the VAs - amazing stuff !
17:03 That NPC voice is incredible. So much better than vanilla Skyrim. Insane quality all around
i love how as soon as i clicked the timestamp trump popped up lol. but agreed. dont get me wrong skyrim is a masterpiece (yeah, im a fan boy lol), but this...probably every single on of us at one point in our heads booted up the nostalgic glory that is morrowind and said, this game is perfect, but just...what if. And by God, these blessed maniacs what iffed like no one has ever what iffed before. i actually had a tear in my eye watching this. i mean just LOOK at it
The VA that was screaming into the mic already sounded hella good in cell phone footage, imagine the actual mic audio. Good stuff
I love it when voice actors go all out like that, make it authentic
She’s also hot
@@bluenightfury4365thats sorta the point of voice acting😂
15:45 I wasn't ready for that lmao- fantastic work from everyone !!
11:10 those weather effects around red mountain are gorgeous!!
WOW.. just wow... Thank you for sharing an update and the journey so far. I really hope that you see this to the finish line. For all the quality work, and time it has gone through... needs to see a finish!!!! Help these folks if you can!!!!!!
Great to see most categories nearing completion. Amazing work as always!
So excited and hyped for this. I have never played Morrowind but I'm holding out for this version after watching long plays of the original.
It is amazing how much you have achieved, you literally created a proper triple A game that a million-dollar company can make. I am looking forward to play it hopefully soon, great work!
Amazing work as always team. Your dedication to the project is admirable and much appreciated!!
I played Morrowind in 2003. I was a freshman in high school. It was the first RPG I even completed the story on and even played past it because of modding. I went to college, got married, have a career, and had a kid all while this recreation has been in progress. The progress is incredible and I hope I get to explore Morrowind again some day.
great recap, appreciate the transparency. things are evolving very well. I can't wait to pay this, it would be a dream come true to see it all come together!!!
I am so looking forward to playing this. Many thanks to everyone involved!!!
