I believe this is the coffee filter process.
Coffee filters=
1-Invert the jars on the coffee filter.
2-Trace around the opening of the jar and cut out the disc of coffee filter material. I believe you can get 3 or so discs from one filter.
3-place the coffee filter disc on top of the rice mix, inside the jar.
4- Kinda push the filter material down a little, on the edges, next to the inside edges of the jar.
5-Wipe the jar lip with a dry towel, to remove any powder particles and place the flat lid on the jar. Put the white vac sealer apparatus on the jar and vacuum it.
Ahhh that makes more sense. Will try next time!
@@TealHouseFarm I have heard of using cupcake papers. They don’t work for me.
Next time put the spices on the bottom and then the rice on top it will help prevent the spice being sucked into the motor
Tina thinks like I do. She wins the prize for posting this before me.
I think I'll try this next time!
I love that your girls are growing up with skills for their future families. They are loving making it and will want to eat what they prepared!! Have a blessed day!
You too!
Would putting the seasoning on the bottom of the Mason jar and then adding the rice, help with eliminating the possibility of particles getting in the motor?
Great idea.
Good idea!
Can't wait to make these!! I put a cupcakes liner in the jar and then seal. Has worked every time!!
Cut the filter to fit inside your jar.
I fell in love at first click! You are a wonderful momma teaching your girls hands on and I can understand your instructions through the blessed and beautiful chaos!
Thank you! And welcome 🥰
Great recipes. TFS 👍
You're welcome :-)
Powder in the motor might be an issue but keeping powder from getting under the lid and preventing a good seal is the bigger issue. I really like my vacuum sealing methods. I have been using the syringe method and finding it works well. Always enjoy your videos. Happy Easter.
I will have to google this method!
@@TealHouseFarm I think you have mentioned it and may have the syringe made for this. Your little electric one is just as easy.
These are awesome! Thank you!! Love the girls helping!! My kids love to help too! I want to make a few of these for a friend/co workers that is having hip replacement… it’s her and her husband only so a few of these will be great for them!!
I hope they enjoy them!
Great recipe TY
My pleasure 😊
Great idea Laura. I agree, butter always makes things better.😊
Yes it does!
Good morning! My husband will be so happy as he is a rice lover but myself, not so much. This is an easy, ready to go way to fix rice without me having the excuse of not having it on hand. So, on behalf of my husband, "thank you". I definitely will be making these up. Have a great day.
I hope he enjoys the mixes!
Love it.
Happy Easter.
I’m doing this.
Happy Easter!
@@TealHouseFarm ❤️🤗
Oh my gosh I love this!!! Thank you! Have a wonderful blessed Easter! 💖🙏🌹
Thank you! You too!
Cupcake papers just on top of jar contents pressed down so covers top of contents, wipe rim, place lid and vacuum seal away. Hope this helps.
Thanks!!
Thanks so much!! This will save lots of money since I have the ingredients. Blessings!!
Enjoy!
❤ ur happy helpers! 😊
Use a cupcake liner and put in the jar
Just fyi , I heard we should always wash our rice first , in case of ? Contamination or arsenic . Cute video.
I've got to get one of those vacuum sealers! My kids love a quick rice for lunch sometimes.
It's such a neat gadget to have on hand. Oh the possibilities lol!
Enjoy your rice in jar. I just found your page. I will be making these ahead ty
Hope you enjoy
Thankyou
You’re welcome 😊
I use cupcake liners pushed down inside, the rim still needs to make a seal
Cut a round of the coffee filter, lay it on top of your jar contents, and the vacuum seal.
Like inside the actual jar, or just right under the lid?
cut the coffee filter to fit INSIDE the jar on top of the mixture.... I use paper towel cut to size, it's cheaper
If you put the spices in the jar first you probably won't have the "spice sucking" issue. 🤣
Oops I see you had the same idea
I think that's the way to go!
Maybe just put the spices in the jar first, and the rice on top...? ❤
I think I will try that next time!
I put the powders in first then rice on top. Then you won't have to worry about your machine.
I put the filer inside the jar on top of everything.
Cut filter to fit inside
Thank you!
Maybe put the powder in first.
Yes we have now flipped the order and it works much better with the powder on the bottom!
Your coffee filter goes in the jar on top of your food.
Where's vermicelli in this????---- curious
You can definitely add it if you would like! I just buy the bulk bag of white rice and copy the flavorings to make it as cheaply as possible.
These vacuum sealers simply do not work. The vacuum will fail inside of two weeks or less.
You may be overfilling your jars! Vacuum sealers need more head space than when you can something. I have been guilty of this myself, and had to do a lot of googling when I found my seals were feeling after a couple of weeks. Make sure you leave at least 2 inches of headspace and that should hopefully solve your problem and you’ll get a nice long term seal.
@@TealHouseFarm I’ll give it another try! Thanks!
This isn't rice a roni without the pasta
