- How to get into safe mode without actually logging in! Of course there is many ways to boot into safe mode if you are already logged in but what if you can't log in or you cannot get into advanced options menu by pressing f2, f8, f10, f12, or delete key while your computer is booting up?
Well did you know with a Windows 10 computer, PC or laptop you can press and hold down the shift key while clicking restart button from the login screen on the bottom right hand side?
From here you get into the advanced options menu, then click on troubleshoot- advanced options- see more recovery options- startup settings then follow the menu to boot into safe mode.

My only question is how did u get that WiFi option at the first sign in screen? I am getting only ethernet option. I don't get any option to turn on WiFi

Ok my laptop will not start safe mode. After pressing shift key and restart button, it turns off and turns back on to login screen. All my users are gone including the admin one except for a regular user! Why!?
