      @@adrianbedolla7939 well *"THAT"* minute stuff come together and increase 1 horsepower at a time and collectively increase 10-15 horsepower with every generational upgrade. Like at what angle do they inject fuel, how they collect temperature readings, how they check air flow quality.... All that stuff combine to give a whooping 210+hp 🙄

    • @WalkerKlondyke
      @WalkerKlondyke 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@TroySiahaan Absolutely! I hadn't seen those engine illustrations anywhere else. I know that kind of thing adds complexity to the review and video editing process, but, it really made your review stand out. Everyone else just says, "Wow, it's fast!" and "All the power is high in the revs" but they don't explain why. There's a REASON the bike (any bike) FEELS the way it does, and just a bit of tech info on WHY goes a long way. Thanks, Troy, keep up the good work! Be sure to have fun on all those incredible machines!

    I’ve just watched this again and although the tech commentary may be beyond most. For me being an ex Superbike racer it’s just sweet music to my ears... plus i owned, from knew, the original blade that changed the industry in such a positive way!! Compared to today’s standards of this digital age now it’s all “old school”. My race bike at the time to meet WSB criteria was a GSXR-750. The original blade was soo different, even if it didn’t actually fall into any racing criteria of that piece of history. Such a legendary bike and I’m glad Honda finally went back to what they do best! Thanks again for a perfect review based on science and not just outright horsepower! 👍😎

    With some minor ergonomics changes, this is my pick for the best 1000CC street sports bike of 2020. I have a feeling these things are reliable as hell when ridden like a normal human being. One of the benefits of less performance as the lower revs is less stress on the engine and more control. Honda really hit a perfect Jekyll and Hyde Split character with this bike. Somehow few people are talking about this.

    • @Captndarty
      @Captndarty 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@theonlyredspecial no they never said it was patented. From my perspective since it was mentioned for this model it wasn’t made for the older models for some reason. My 15 year old ZX has it so in my opinion it’s not anything new and fancy for them to boast about.

    • @theonlyredspecial
      @theonlyredspecial 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Captndarty yeah I get your point but to be fair I think its a good move technically to get more air into the engine and subsequently more horsepower . I actually have a 2013 and 2019 fireblade and owned the 2020 sp rrr blade for 500 miles. All on my channel. The 2020 was the only blade I couldn't live with because I found it very hard on my wrists. It was also recalled for an engine sump issue while I owned it. I think the 2020 blade could have kept the key and just moved it to the side. For a track user its tricky to put a fob anywhere so i never liked that move.
