@@motorincFor a guy who is going to buy a new 250cc machine, if you explain how this new duke 250 stands out from n250, Gixxer 250 and dominar 250 could have been useful. Difference in terms of touring and city commutes. Especially touring.

Why didn’t you ask? The Dominar 250 is smooth but otherwise lacklustre. We don’t recommend it at all. The N250 is the best commuter of this group. Comfortable, swift and efficient. Quality has improved too. Gixxer 250 is a slightly sportier machine than the N250. But still very much a commuter. And now also growing old - Suzukis not given it any upgrades since it launched. The Duke is the fastest of this lot by some margin and by far the sportiest in feel. The new chassis also makes it a reasonably comfortable bike which wasn’t the case earlier.

I’ve ridden the Redditch Red 350 Classic for almost six years now. I’m on the lookout for my second motorcycle to be used mostly for commute and occasional weekend rides, with maybe some touring, as well (I hope so).
I’ve always had a thing for the CB300R and given it’s recent price cut, it becomes all the more enticing. On the other hand, the new Duke 250 seems like a better decision, in all departments, I strongly like it. Am I justified in comparing these two? What would be your advice for me? Of course, I’ll take a test-ride before putting down the money but I’d like to know your views. Also, a discussion, albeit small, on the CB300R would be awesome.

Hi, Is there a KTM Duke 200 2023 available? If not will it be launching anytime? Which according to you will be a better buy between Duke 250 and Duke 200 in terms of ride quality and mileage? Basically, I want to buy a pocket friendly bike.
I would absolutely love for you guys to revisit the CB300R and compare it against the D250. I'm upgrading from my 1997 Yamaha RXG and the 146kg weight of the XB is super tempting!

Hey Shailesh! They’re not similar riding experiences at all. Both can manage the city but they feel very different from each other. Even a short test ride should clear this right up!
I am planning to upgrade from125 duke to 250. Before that I want to sale my 125. It is Mumbai 03 registered in 2018 and hardly done 5000 kms. So how much I can expect for it.

Hi MotorInc Team. I need to make a buying decision and I am confused between the 250 Duke and Honda CB300R. Long term reliability is my primary concern as I like to keep my bike for 6-8 years. I have cancelled Triumph Speed 400 due to its expensive service and spare parts.
I have taken a test ride of all of the above and I like all of them.
Please help me decide which one should I go with! Will Honda CB300R be easy on the pocket with respect to service and spare parts?

My question is: I need a bike preferably 250-400 CC for touring, I currently own a Yamaha FZ-S (153CC) 2010 model and did 1000kms/day run multiple times comfortably but it feels a bit slow certainly for highway runs.
My list consists of in order of what my heart says :
Honda CB 300R
Triumph Scrambler 400x
Suzuki V-Strom 250
Duke 250
And I'm so soo confused. Please enlighten me 😇😇

I'm a beginner rider , i have previous experience of riding 160 cc and a few 200 cc bikes , I'm looking for a bike for myself and I'm slightly confused between the 250 duke and the speed 400 . Both these are relatively gentle than the 390 , I don't want 390 kinda power . What would practically be a good pick for me .

Have been riding Gixxer 155 for 9 years now. Is it good enough to update to 250 or is it good to go for 390? Am gonna be selling Gixxer. Will only keep one bike. City/long rides are 60/40. But I usually go for rides of 400km every other week in Gixxer. So longest would be 600km. Love longer rides but time constraints. Please give your opinion.
Should be good, it’s got the similar to Gixxer good-naturedness about it.

There are places to go ride. We would recommend connecting with riders who are already doing this. You should have someone along.
I'll be upgrading from the Ntorq race xp to my first bike. This bike will only be for long highway rides and not daily commutes, I love going fast and have 20000+ km experience of riding on highways. What would you guys suggest, the 250 or the 390 ? I want a bike that goes blisteringly fast and has great sense of rawness to it. I dont want a well tamed motorcycle that does not allow me to correct my mistakes.

Loved everything about the new Duke 250 except those tank shrouds!! Sometimes the KTM designers get carried away just to make their bike look a lot sharper!!

The handling and responsiveness- yes! Performance - to some extent. But not a big step.

Totally opposite.
Duke is super exciting to ride +performance is brilliant. Vstrom cannot compare to this model.

@@neeraj880108 🌚 its high revv engine. Torque output is at peak of revv range. How do you expect torque in low end ? What sort of logic it is ?
Not barking by reading the spec sheet. Took vstrom for 250 kms ride. Rental one.
Then took duke 250 after 1 month from the same rental company.
Buzzing engine of course. It's not as smooth as Japanese engine.
Pickup is brutal.

Loved the video n the summary, I bought hunter 350 around 6 months back but I feel like I have grown out of it and it feels too lazy and boring now. I test rode duke 250 and felt happy with the power and brakes. I have been thinking of switching to duke 250 but worried what if i get bored of it too after some months. Or shall I just buy the 390... bit scary proposition however it might be more fun.
The 250 won't get boring in a hurry for sure, Abheet, but sure, consider a 390 if you must. It's A LOT FASTER and quicker than your Hunter so be careful!

When you said, it will not get scary, what does it mean? I was riding CBZ for 3-4 years and not riding a bike for around 20 years. I am looking for a bike (90% city ride) in bangalore and seriously considering duke 390 or 390 adventure. I’ll keep the vehicle for a min 10 years and would like the vehicle to grow with me. Your comment “scary” is making me think about KTMs. Could you please elaborate.
The 390's power is explosive and it's a relentlessly aggressive machine. The 250 is not like that. It's pretty fast etc but never super-aggressive
Rating is 9 🌟..dint told about Vibration and engine issues..
My 2013 dohc is still going good without engine failure and 2,50,000+ kms. Although meter condole has been changed.

I feel the Dominar 250 is a much more VFM if someone's looking for a do it all motorcycle, who cannot afford the 390.
Compared to the 250D?
Aprilia sr 160 is old and sales are all time low at 300unit per month. Aerox has shown people are buying higher segment scooter at 2000unit per month. Do you think aprilia will bring sr gt 200 to capture on adventure category rather than take back performance title from aerox? Can you make a video on why companies are so shy on 150cc scooters. We scooter lover have no upgrade from 125cc segment.

@@chandansoren8002 vespa 150 is above 1.5 and reach 1.7 ex show room. More expensive than aerox still doing better than both aerox and sr 160. I think people want more on 150cc segment. For more price people want bigger engine, bigger underseat storage to store full face helmet bigger fuel tank and more bigger dominating body. Sr 160 fulfill only bigger engine, everything else is normal scooter and with less features. Aerox success shows people are willing to pay more if upgrade is significant one.
