That's absolutely one of the tightest performances I've ever seen . Thick bass, fat drum sound, penetrating guitars and Blitz delivering those heavyass guturals. He still had those unique low grunts mixed with his raspy tone and yelling (that's always been his signature)
my favorite metal band of all time. Blitz is the best singer and frontman in metal period. I've been watching them live since 1983 in NY/NJ. They just get better and better. Long live fuckin OVERKILL.
Love me some old school classic thrash OVERKILL. . Love this song. . Such a bad asd jam. . Great guitar work and guitar solo. . CRANK IT UP LOUD. . Horns UP 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
dam i never saw that many chicks at any of the Overkill show i went too! that is fucking great love to see even the babe's starting to like the best band in music!!!! OVERKILL FAN FOREVER!! \m/ up the kills!!!
Just saw them live for the first time last friday, it was awesome, great live show and Bobby Blitz is just amazing! Hope to see them soon again, I adore them!
@duffmasterofpuppets I am glad to see you read the bible, but the story says Elisha called down a curse on the boys for jeering him. Elisha had inherited a double portion of Elijah's spirit, and he was able to do this. Now this is the old testament and we know that when the young did not obey the commandments they were liable for their actions. I tell you the truth that the old testament is full of reminders of how hard the law was to follow, than God for Jesus!
Saw them 2 days ago on Metalmania in Katowice. They opened with this song and I was blown right away. Insane, mad, awesome, perfect... you name it! OVER-FUCKIN'-KILL!!! \m.
@jacbro51 congratulations, and welcome to real metal. since you've just recently heard about overkill, i recommend a couple small bay area thrashers you might not have heard of called TestamenT and Exodus. Testament - Formation of Damnation = 2008 album of the year. You also might want to check out Death - Symbolic. The lyrics are very rough yet discernible, and extremely cerebral, which is a rarity and treat for a death metal album. up the irons!
BIG FOUR MAKE ROOM FOR ONE MORE!!!!!!! Overkill is the only Thrash band... scratch that, MUSICAL GROUP that I know that has never released one bad album. Their "worst" was The Bloodletting but that record is STILL Amazing. Theyve stayed true to their music for almost 30 years now. Im Looking forward to The Electric Age. Necroshine is one of the heaviest song EVER
this cd was the baddest shit when it came out i use to play drums to this song i had my kit mic'ed in a small basement with 2-18in c-v and 2 dual15-ev's it was badass
@todd25xx hell yeah.. one of the only thrash bands who kept it strictly thrash... they shred just as hard as they did when i 1st saw them in 88... sickness... \m/
@MultiMiracleMan - Absolutely... i remember the first time i started to listen to Metal (Iron maiden), in elementary school. I didn't really have any specific music taste, i just listened to whatever other people listened to back then, and thats what i think is the problem with the popular music theese days. People don't really think for themselves, and just listen to whatever is popular to listen to. When i first heard Iron Maiden, i never went back to the pop/hip hop/rap music genre again.
Metal alone has powerful way of uniting a strong community of Rivet Heads and Metal Hell Rats!....we are faithful to Metal because it is a way of life and our religion in so many levels. This is an awsome depiction of OverKill uniting the masses with NECORSHINE!! \m/
Bobby blitz Ellsworth had a focal seizure in Germany in June 2002, right in the middle of the song "Necroshine". He commented: "The beauty of a stroke is that you don't remember.
you cant judge em based on this song even though i love this song. Their best work is on the albums before this one. blitz IS one of a kind. He does have that ac/dc tint to him, but hes original. I could recognize blitz's voice from a mile away. horrorscope, killing kind, wfo, are a few of their GREAT albums
@SnoozieDoes : i'm totally agree with you ! Overkill's studios albums are good (some are even excellent !) but...when you listen to "Wrecking Your Neck-Live" (1995) & "Wrecking Everything" (2002)...it's thrash-metal at it's best !
Saw them on Gigantour in Orlando, got kicked out half way through their second song(fuck hard rock live). Even though it was only a song and a half, it was the best show of the year. OVERKILL FTW!
@Jonsk12394 exactly man...the next comment I was going to make would state that Iron Maiden is the ideal band for someone to start listening to metal becaause their songs are have ultimate melodies! Are you inside my head? Most people I know started listening to metal from Maiden...I can't think of a person who listens to the trooper and isn't dancing in his heart...it is the ultimate encouraging song!
@MultiMiracleMan - I Love the feeling when you manage to convert someone to Metal... IF they aren't close minded, and give metal a chance, they WILL love it, and never go back to mainstream crap
🤘😎Wrecking Crew😎🤘

Most underrated Metal band on the Planet!
That's absolutely one of the tightest performances I've ever seen . Thick bass, fat drum sound, penetrating guitars and Blitz delivering those heavyass guturals. He still had those unique low grunts mixed with his raspy tone and yelling (that's always been his signature)
