Yeah, but i guess, it was mainly because we were young and full of energy! Today, when we are all 20 years older, it has already taken its toll on us. Even if one tries to fight back, in many ways the cycle of life, responsibilities, stress and hustle, eventually sweeps us away! But personally, I try, at least from time to time, to forget how old I am and react similarly to when I was 18-20! 🤘I fondly remember the Motorhead concerts, in their probably best period, between the years '95-'05. Lemmy was at his best, the best lineup with Phil "Wizzö" Campbell on guitar and Mikkey Dee on drums! (Some will disagree, preferring a line-up with drummer Philty "Animal" Taylor and two guitarists, Michael "Würzel" Burston and Phil "Wizzö" Campbell. I much prefer the three-piece line-up that played from early 1995 until until the end of Lemmy's days.)

Paul D fuckena Glen is a badass. The whole band is badass. They showed up at the venue where I was house sound guy and lone full on metal head. My manager was worried about the upside cross scarred into Glen’s forehead, and I said fuck it we’ll just do some devil worshipping tonight. Lo and behold they weren’t traveling with a FOH guy so I got to mix fucking Deicide on my brutal PA!! The kind that hurts people if needed. Like makes you feel like you are being pushed backwards, cause you are. Soundcheck ruled, they had no idea what to expect, a lot of sound guys don’t pay full respect to this kind of music, and they were blown away with the experience. If I was independently wealthy I would have toured the country with them obliterating small towns across the country. Can’t believe someone actually thought of Deicide Glen for great metal singer! Great choice though. Danzig, ugh. I got to mix the Misfits too mid 2000’s, with the bass player singing, never kept track of them, but the show was awesome, full house, 1000 people. No AC mid summer. How about Exhorder? Pantera owes them.

Back in 199X I was at a concert with Sepultura in KB Hallen in Copenhagen. The show had ended and I was standing in line waiting for my jacket, and then ... the band comes back on stage and Max says "I am the one ..." and I was like "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?" as I *loved* Sepultura's version of Orgasmatron. Then (obviously, ahem) I left the line and went to the main stage and had a Hell of a time while listening to the song above. Even got interviewed by Vanessa Warwick from MTV (if anyone still remembers her) in the middle of the action!

Esse Sepultura acabou com o Brasil e o mundo, Explodiu, hoje em dia eu vejo molecada de outro país e Facebooks, Bandcamp, e outros sites sempre usando uma camiseta desses caras, seja na Espanha, Itália, Suécia, Sepultura dessa época saiu do Brasil para estourar no mundo. E mostrar que os Brasileiros não sabem só fazer samba/pagode e jogar bola. Mas também tocar um som extremo para essa galerada do mundo inteiro.

@@johngetman1816 This may be hard to believe, but it's only been recently that I've discovered Sepultura. Sure I had heard the name, but honestly, I hadn't heard anything from them. And this was in a time and place before the internet, and such easy accessibility to TH-cam music. So when a video came up, under a music group, I fell for these guys and their music, and haven't been able to find enough in their archives ~ that's a shame really. A lot of the video recordings here on TH-cam are poor with lousy sound. I know it just may be a foolish dream, but I wish these guys would put their petty differences aside and reunite. The thing is, all of them still continue and enjoy making music. Guess a girl can dream ... 🤗🖤
It´s such shame, that the core of Sepultura is gone.. without Max&Igor it isn´t Sepultura more! On this clip i like, how Phil is enjoying it! Old classic Sepultura was a real cult! I was on some live shows in Europe, when they were in best(original) lineup and i was +/- 20 yrs old.. and always a fantastic experience! Few years ago i was on Cavalera Conspiracy show and it was also great! Love, how Igor plays on very simple drumset, but excellent.. he´s become a more mature and economical drummer, he can play his parts on a fraction of his former line-up and still excel! This just proves what I've always said - you don't have to have one hundred and fifty-seven drums, just a foundation and hands connected to the heart! He simply has what can be called feeling, many drummers are extremely fast and technically perfect, but without "feeling" they are just very average players. Coming up with a proper part is something else. (Of course, a drummer must also be able to play, but it works in the direction of heart/brain/hands -> drums and not the other way around! Such Eloy Casagrande..a great drummer, fast as hell with an excellently mastered technique..however, when he played with Sepultura, one immediately recognized Igor's parts, unlike his, they had juice and were not boring. (Nothing against him, no doubt he's a good drummer, he just can't project that "heart!") Btw. quite a few such examples can be found. You can install another one yourself..

Esse Sepultura acabou com o Brasil e o mundo, Explodiu, hoje em dia eu vejo molecada de outro país e Facebooks, Bandcamp, e outros sites sempre usando uma camiseta desses caras, seja na Espanha, Itália, Suécia, Sepultura dessa época saiu do Brasil para estourar no mundo. E mostrar que os Brasileiros não sabem só fazer samba/pagode e jogar bola. Mas também tocar um som extremo para essa galerada do mundo inteiro.

Quando eu tinha 8 anos em 1993,meu irmão tinha uma banda de Trash,e eu dizia pra ele que queria ser o Igor Cavalera,daí eles vieram no Gigantinho em POA fazer um show,eu chorei muito pq não deu pra ele me levar,daí meu irmão desenhou o brasão da banda no meu braço e eu fui todo feliz pra escola.Hoje eu com 36 até nas fotos da familia eu faço a pose do Igor pra tirar a foto.Kkkk Sepultura Eterno.

This may be hard to believe, but it's only been recently that I've discovered Sepultura.
Sure I had heard the name, but honestly, I hadn't heard anything from them. And this was in a time and place before the internet, and such easy accessibility to TH-cam music.
So when a video came up, under a music group, I fell for these guys and their music, and haven't been able to find enough in their archives ~ that's a shame really.
A lot of the video recordings here on TH-cam are poor with lousy sound.
I know it just may be a foolish dream, but I wish these guys would put their petty differences aside and reunite.
The thing is, all of them still continue and enjoy making music.

It´s such shame, that the core of Sepultura is gone.. without Max&Igor it isn´t Sepultura more! On this clip i like, how Phil is enjoying it! Old classic Sepultura was a real cult! I was on some live shows in Europe, when they were in best(original) lineup and i was +/- 20 yrs old.. and always a fantastic experience! Few years ago i was on Cavalera Conspiracy show and it was also great! Love, how Igor plays on very simple drumset, but excellent.. he´s become a more mature and economical drummer, he can play his parts on a fraction of his former line-up and still excel! This just proves what I've always said - you don't have to have one hundred and fifty-seven drums, just a foundation and hands connected to the heart! He simply has what can be called feeling, many drummers are extremely fast and technically perfect, but without "feeling" they are just very average players. Coming up with a proper part is something else. (Of course, a drummer must also be able to play, but it works in the direction of heart/brain/hands -> drums and not the other way around! Such Eloy Casagrande..a great drummer, fast as hell with an excellently mastered technique..however, when he played with Sepultura, one immediately recognized Igor's parts, unlike his, they had juice and were not boring. (Nothing against him, no doubt he's a good drummer, he just can't project that "heart!") Btw. quite a few such examples can be found. You can install another one yourself..
