When they do Fuel live, after the Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire, then huge fireballs explode around the stage. It's one of the best parts of the show.
That's your opinion. Fans get too down on these albums for my liking, and that's their choice. For me, it comes down to this: These are decent albums. There's some pretty good songs. I don't see a killer track on either of these albums, and there's a few duds on them as well. When you are coming from Lightning, Puppets, Justice, and Black Album, all are top notch albums that few bands can touch, with multiple killer songs on each of those albums, and very few, if any, duds. They just set the bar so high, that anything less than amazing is a disappointment.
I had a number of hardcore Metallica fans that really hated the band after they got popular- this album in particular, or possibly everything after And Justice for All.
I'm so happy for you guys. I've been a Metallica fan since the early 80s. There are SO many of their songs you haven't done yet. Their catalog of awesomeness is never ending. Love you guys!
Maybe Creeping Death, one of these days. Based on events (Moses leading the Hebrews out of Egypt) from The Ten Commandments movie, not kidding. A great song.
It's funny, that Amber said this song made her want to kick down the door. I thought about it for a second, and YEAH, it does make you want to go kick down a door! One of my favorite Metallica songs ever.
I love Lars on the drums!!! The BEST drummer!!!! This is one of my favourite songs!! Just what I need to get me going for the rest of the day!! It's 11:48am here in Australia on a Sunday!
Have LOVE THIS SONG since the FIRST TIME I HEARD I!!! Kind "commercial" - but, MAN - METALLICA KNOCKED THIS ONE OUT OF THE PARK!!!! :) HUGS, YA"LL ENJOY!!!
Another song with similar vibes to this is White Zombie's song "Thunder Kiss 65" another one of those gotta drive fast songs. You also should show Amber "I Can't Drive 55".
I think the song Fuel can be looked at more than one way. It can be a way of life for some. Live hard and fast. I know James has one of the best car collections so it has something to do with cars, but it can also be about life in general. Just like a car needs fuel (gas) our body's need fuel (food) too. Especially if you live a busy and hard life like a rock star.
Another fabulous reaction guys! I agree with every single thing you talked about and have loved this song since it came out. I still think to this day Master of Puppets is the most intense, brilliant song metal ever composed, and I always think it has to be Hetfield’s autobiography during his drug addiction issues. SO powerful and perfect . I’ll have to recheck and see if you covered that one
A great opportunity... A "Two for Tuesday" video, Originals vs. Covers. First up: "Stone Cold Crazy" Queen vs. Metallica. You will have a good time, no doubt.
You should check out The Warning ( 3 sisters) Metallica invited then to do a cover of Enter Sandman for their Blacklist Album . Also "Evolve" on the MTV music awards is awesome too.
After hearing/watching the 1999 "live-with-full-orchestra" version of this song in Metallica's "S&M" concert, the original version of "Fuel" feels so empty. Like it's hollow and being dragged down by weights. Would highly recommend watching the "S&M" live concert version.
Lol this song is a speeding ticket lol I know I’ve had it happen lol great job on the reaction and thanks for all the hard work and Boomer Sooner lol from Tulsa Oklahoma
This album get a lot of hate for being a departure from Metallica’s usual style, but there are some bangers on it. I’d recommend King Nothing as a follow up to this
King Nothing is on Load… this song was from the album after it called Re-Load. Of the two, Load is a better album, but this is one of the better tracks on Re-Load.
Load and reload is when I started learning bass.. I couldn't get enough of the intro to King Nothing and thought Nothing would be cooler than being able to play that bassline 😂 so I did.
Definitely one of the two great tracks off of ReLoad….Amber: wasn’t it your birthday a few days ago? Happy belated Birthday 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I remember when I first got Load and heard that. I was like "is that a country twang??on a MetallicA song??"And I totally dug it. Has become one of my favorites.
Great choice. A very underrated song from Metallica. J my Bears are practicing with your Bengals this week. Caleb Williams looked good today so looking forward to him carving up the Bengals…😉
One of my favorite Metallica songs ever. Jay it’s amazing how much Amber has grown .Music is my escape it’s where I can go into my own world and getaway from this world . Both of you are my favorites I enjoy listening to music with both of you . I hope the family is well and please keep this up
Metallica is Best Heavy Metal Band of all time. Seen them first time in 86 on Master of Puppets tour . I got to see Cliff! Since then, seen them 21 times!
ive been here for more than a minute.. Best reaction ive seen yet besides richie samboras back up singing in bed of roses by Bon Jovi i loved that reaction too.. Well done..
Black Label Society- Stillborn Zakk Wylde- Lost Prayer For Amber try KISS- I Still Love You From MTV Unplugged If You love Paul Stanley you'll love that song
The Four Horseman, Fade to black, Welcome Home (Sanitarium), Dyers Eve, Holier Than Thou, King Nothing, Devils Dance, Sweet Amber, All Nightmare Long, Spit Out The Bone, Inamorata. This is one song from every Metallica album. I would love to see you guys react to any or all. I could do this entirely differently each day for weeks. Metallica has so many great songs it never gets old. to me anyways
This was on the Playstation game "Hot Wheels: Turbo Racing" for the original Playstation. You got to control a Hot Wheels car around tracks all over. It was a really fun game. I can't remember any of the other songs on that game, but I remember this one.
A couple of requests: 1. "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" by Jet. This was featured in one of the early iconic Apple iPod commercials and was a gigantic hit for them in 2004. Unfortunately it was their only hit. 2. "Woman" by Wolfmother. The official video features a shortened version of a second sone, "Love Train" at the end, which needs to be heard in the full length version at a later date.
YESSSSS! Love Fuel. I can't listen to this song when I'm driving though, or I find myself pushing the limits of whatever speed limit I'm driving in at the time (I won't tell you what I topped out at...)
Im taking my kiddos to see them in Seattle Labor Day weekend! My 12 yr old CANNOT WAIT! It'll be my 19th Metallica show. It'll be fun to see his eyes get huge during the explosions lol
I rememebr buying thid album and just rocking it playing Quake (original) and driving my road tech job. Not a "traditional" Metallica album but one of my favs snd an absolute banger!
When they do Fuel live, after the Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire, then huge fireballs explode around the stage. It's one of the best parts of the show.
No doubt! Saw the flames all around SoFi Stadium. 🔥 🔥
Just saw it live two days ago in Chicago!
So-Fi's a great stadium.
@@pamelawertz498 That’s awesome man. I wish I saw them live!
ReLoad and Load were both KILLER albums. Anybody who says different is delusional

True. Metallica always do what they want, if that is considered selling out, oh well
@@ktgo4424 what a clown
Tons of Metallica fans haaaaaaated this album. I liked it.
I understood why they hated it but I liked it
I had a number of hardcore Metallica fans that really hated the band after they got popular- this album in particular, or possibly everything after And Justice for All.
@dharris8849 then they're not fans. Those are called fair-weather fans.
@@susanberrier5727*they're.
I'm on that spectrum who disliked St Anger way more than this album.
Amber has that rocking hairstyle. Perfect for this.
Two songs you might enjoy - King Nothing and Hero of the Day.
*I would also add "Until It Sleeps"........* ⬅🎸🤔
King Nothing is one of my faves!
Amber, when you first joined in with J., I would have never guessed in a million years you'd turn into such a Metalhead. ♥️😍🤩
I know right it would’ve made Bible study so much more interesting
It’s from the Bible (Book of Exodus) not the Ten Commandments movie
😁@@mztweety1374
@@stephenhamel9464 but they wrote it after watching the Charlton Heston movie. Which is based obviously on the story from the Jewish books.
“Creeping Death” is the perfect skateboarding song.
"I wanted to kick down the door!" Amber.
This really says it all. Loved this reaction.
🤘🏽
Fuel is one of the best tunes out of the Load era.
It's funny, that Amber said this song made her want to kick down the door. I thought about it for a second, and YEAH, it does make you want to go kick down a door! One of my favorite Metallica songs ever.
I can't believe this is true...This song is 27 years old. Damn.
sad.....
I love Lars on the drums!!! The BEST drummer!!!! This is one of my favourite songs!!
Just what I need to get me going for the rest of the day!!
It's 11:48am here in Australia on a Sunday!
Rick can beat him.with one arm..lol..maybe
@lifewuzonceezr Yes..Rick is a good drummer too.
Hell yes! And Kirk finally gets a shout out! 😀 Great choice guys.
OMG This song is fire. Loved it since it was first released.
I remember flying down the freeway with my mom driving in the 90s and this song coming my on. Absolutely focused on how cool a band could be
And this is why "Load" and "Reload" are still my favorite Metallica albums. 🔥😎
“Fans” can talk shit all they want, there’s plenty of amazing songs after and in the Black Album
Nothing but greatness! Love watching Amber listening to Metallica!
the lead singer is James Hetfield
Your STILL doing great. One of my favorite subscriptions that I visit often. Keep on doing what your doing. Ill keep on watching. Cheers.
Have LOVE THIS SONG since the FIRST TIME I HEARD I!!! Kind "commercial" - but, MAN - METALLICA KNOCKED THIS ONE OUT OF THE PARK!!!! :) HUGS, YA"LL ENJOY!!!
Metallica is just so darn good. Heavy man, heavy! 😊❤
This song was a meme when it came out xD “Oooooooh ye hehh!” lol 😂
One of my favorite Metallica songs!! Love it!!
Yes Kirk Hammett is the lead guitarist with Metallica Amber. I don't think I've ever heard you all speak about anyone but James or Lars before.
Another song with similar vibes to this is White Zombie's song "Thunder Kiss 65" another one of those gotta drive fast songs. You also should show Amber "I Can't Drive 55".

Yes! One of their best intros. Great song, haven't heard it in a while. They rock.

I always seem to forget how much I like Metallica - but whenever I hear them, I'm reminded. Good reaction!
One of the most head turning opening lines in Rock history! Metallica have a style truly all their own.
One of my favorite songs of theirs along with enter sandman, unforgiven, nothing else matters, wherever I may roam, their version of turn the page.
Totally agree 💯
Try listening to this while driving and NOT mashing the gas peddle !
Happy Saturday Family. Metallica for life. This song is amazing to see live with all the energy and pyrotechnics. ❤
A great opportunity... A "Two for Tuesday" video, Originals vs. Covers. First up: "Stone Cold Crazy" Queen vs. Metallica. You will have a good time, no doubt.
Give “KING NOTHING” a listen. One of my favorite metallic songs that doesn’t get much play. Very similar to “Fuel”
I love your Tallica reactions! Please do more!
“Blackened”-Metallica
“Those Shoes”-Eagles
Thanx4content
Blackened 🔥🤘🏽🔥
Time for Jay to start paying attention to the lyrics!!
Fade to Black studio version is still a must
Korn " Coming undone" , got the Life " " blind ( live Woodstock 99 ) "
"Freak On A Leash" first.
So many great songs from load and reload era !!
I'm 49yrs old half Black and Mexican. I discovered Metallica 25yrs ago. I've been a monster fan ever since.
You should check out The Warning ( 3 sisters) Metallica invited then to do a cover of Enter Sandman for their Blacklist Album . Also "Evolve" on the MTV music awards is awesome too.
I can't help it, I have to watch reaction videos...and you two are among those I have to see lol.

We live in Ohio but last night my nephew and my brother went to Chicago to see them. It was my 13th birthday gift to my nephew. He loved it
This album get a lot of hate for being a departure from Metallica’s usual style, but there are some bangers on it. I’d recommend King Nothing as a follow up to this
King Nothing is on Load… this song was from the album after it called Re-Load. Of the two, Load is a better album, but this is one of the better tracks on Re-Load.
The Black album was a departure from Metallica playing thrash metal.
Load and reload is when I started learning bass.. I couldn't get enough of the intro to King Nothing and thought Nothing would be cooler than being able to play that bassline 😂 so I did.
This song makes you want too start flipping tables 🤣
Harvester of Sorrow is an awesome one
There’s a reason they’re the goats
This is one
Another great reaction, guys! You asked for more metal suggestions, so I recommend listening to Andrew W.K. - "Party Hard"
Dirk Verbeuren playing Mr. Brightside
I've been suggesting this one for a while. So happy y'all finally got to react to it! Great reaction!
Definitely one of the two great tracks off of ReLoad….Amber: wasn’t it your birthday a few days ago? Happy belated Birthday 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Check out the last track on the Load album, The Outlaw Torn. Often overlooked but a fantastic journey of a song
At the end my mind went there...."Fortune, fame! Mirror, vain"...
Can't hear ya, are you talkin' to me? ;)
Check out "mama said" Metallica.. very underated. Initially hated by the fan base, but as we aged, that song aged well. Like fine wine
I remember when I first got Load and heard that. I was like "is that a country twang??on a MetallicA song??"And I totally dug it. Has become one of my favorites.
Or "Low Man's Lyric".

You guys have TOTALLY GOTTA do the song "Fade to Black." That is an incredible song!!! Please please do that one.
"Fade to Black" may be THE Metallica masterpiece.
You need to watch the live version of this from Sweden 2023! Excellent reaction!
Mega death symphony of destruction is pretty good also..

James Hetfield is considered one of the best rhythm guitarists in the genre. " Right Hand of god " James plays crazy rhythms and sings as well
Hero of the Day is a MUST Reaction. You will be surprised but you will love it!❤ It is Kirk !❤
The Four Horseman, Fade to black, Welcome Home (Sanitarium), Dyers Eve, Holier Than Thou, King Nothing, Devils Dance, Sweet Amber, All Nightmare Long, Spit Out The Bone, Inamorata. I'm not a huge fan of Load/Reload, but I definitely love this song. It's just full of energy and puts a smile on my face.
Do more BLACK SABBATH... They're the pioneers of Metal, absolutely essential.
This was on the Playstation game "Hot Wheels: Turbo Racing" for the original Playstation. You got to control a Hot Wheels car around tracks all over. It was a really fun game. I can't remember any of the other songs on that game, but I remember this one.
yes yes we've been listening to this for 30 years , we know how it goes. This song is 2nd to Hero of the Day.
Can't deny how awesome this tune is!
I loved '2X4' and 'Hero Of The Day' from the album just before this one. This is from Reload and the one before was Load
A couple of requests:

This track is dangerous to teenagers and “older” teenagers driving anything down the road. 😂✌️
Facts!
You are not lying
You ain't lying. If I'm driving my Camaro and I hear either Fuel by Metallica, or Dragula by Rob Zombie, I want to hammer down and drive 150 MPH.
Sang my heart out when they played this at PowerTrip i was fired up,to be fair i sang their whole set non stop
Hero of the day is a great Metallica song
YESSSSS! Love Fuel. I can't listen to this song when I'm driving though, or I find myself pushing the limits of whatever speed limit I'm driving in at the time (I won't tell you what I topped out at...)
Two songs to play back to back are Fuel by Metallica and 1000 HP by Godsmack!! Makes the workouts more intense!
The Load/Reload albums were actually good!
Still are! 😉🤘
