Has anyone checked out the video Metallica recently released on their channel where they cover an Elton John song? The song is, Love Lies Bleeding In My Hand / Funeral For A Friend. Elton and the writer, Bernie Taulpin??? were receiving an award from the Library Of Congress for that song. I will butcher the name of the award without looking it up. Black tie affair - let's put it that way. The boys were pretty well dressed, in a rock and roll style of course. 'Cept Lars - he had on a t-shirt but who cares, it's rock and roll. James is a fucking bad ass! They all are. They really looked amazing for their age and imo sound better than ever. It was just recorded in March this year. Check it out if you haven't!!

You guys absolutely have to give "They Rode On" by Watain a listen. A black metal band having their "Nothing Else Matters" moment. You know you want to

The truth is that both Load and Reload was the end of the world for the hard core Metallica fans. They were called sell outs and that they were making wimpy rock. The first song that played on the radio from Load was a song called 2x4 from a live show they were doing in Europe and people were not happy. Maybe that's the next one you guys should check out. They picked up a lot of new fans with these albums too. A lot of those people didn't care for the early albums except the black album. It took many years and a album with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and a reinterpretation of those songs to bring a good deal of old school fans around. You'll still have fans that won't listen to anything but the first three, maybe four, albums. They miss out because Load and Reload are great albums with great music. It's not trash and sometimes it's not even heavy but it's very cool. I would say for myself it's the first three albums and Load and Reload that I will go back and listen to the most. If you really want to hear what this project was about check out the songs The House Jack Built, Hero Of The Day and especially Poor Twisted Me. That last one you won't believe it's Metallica. You'll think James is with some other band. All these songs are from Load. Just to show you there is no difference in style between these albums you can also listen to The Memory Remains, Carpe Diem Baby and Where The Wild Things Are. They experimented on Reload just as much as on Load.
You should check out the Avril Lavigne cover of this from MTV Icon... Actually, that whole show is worth a look... Snoop, Staind, Korn, Sum 41, Limp Bizkit... Different levels of quality in the covers for sure but it's good fun
Guys check out some texas thrash "Dead horse" 1. Like Asrielle 2. Peaceful death Here's something extra (Murder metal) Macabre "serial killer" music video (Henry lee lucas, Otis Toole) ENJOY DUDES !!!!!! 👍👍
I would love a new section like Chronological Reactions for some bands. One song for album (one for video, and in order) with that u can see the true evolution of bands. I would love it if you start with Judas Priest but Metallica could be a good starting point 🍻 from Uruguay, big supporter since your early days here
NASCAR didn’t just use this song in an ad, they used this as bumper music going into and coming out of commercial breaks during televised races for several years th-cam.com/video/dxfWAPh9Cf0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1Gg1qtxK_ZytxUAc
It's funny and frustrating to be a Metallica fan at times. While most fans hate certain parts of Metallica's history. Very few have stayed the course and enjoy every single album. (I'm one of the few). Metallica have always been ahead of the times. As you can see and read, a lot of those fans that hated Load and Reload when they came out. Are just now realizing how good they actually are. They forget, Metallica will ALWAYS "go against the grain until the end."
Metallica's first four albums are God Tier but Load and ReLoad are underrated as fuck in my opinion! The Black Album felt pretty forced but the Load/Reload albums felt like a natural progression from Metallica's Thrash sound if that makes a lick of sense? 😂 Either way 'Fuel' is one of my favourite Metallica tunes. Any combination of Motorsport and Heavy Metal gets a thumbs up from me! 👍
GIMME FUEL GIMME FIRE GIMME THAT WHICH I DESIRE
OUGH!!!!
....(Commences to head banging).....🤘🏼💙
The first thing I thought of when seeing the title.
🤘🙂🤘
The next track, Memory Remains, is a banger too
James is a huge gear head, has some of the SICKEST cars on earth

Y'all should check out Outlaw Torn from this album. Very underrated song by Metallica
the full 10 minute version from the single
It was on the Load album...but one of the best songs off of either album along with Bleeding Me
The 2019 live version with the San Francisco symphony, it’s jaw dropping perfection
Outlaw torn is a masterpiece...that guitar screams for mercy!!!!!!!
Fun fact: Metallicas Load sold almost as many copies as The Black album worldwide 🤘🏻
Load and Reload are extremely underrated.

They literally did use this song in a NASCAR ad 😂
Played during a couple of seasons in Nascar. Mostly when going to and from commercials.

The mistake i keep making is showing my heart to someone before they show me theirs
Metallica is awesome group of guys
James Hetfield and Rob zombie should have a "yeah" contest 🔥👍
Also recommend Prince Charming. A tune that I think is underrated-it's a great song and well worth a listen.
I seen a early 70s Chevelle SS, a Nova two, I think a Ford Galaxy, a mid 60s Camaro
🔥🔥🔥
Gimme Fuel
Gimme Fire
Gimme that Charizard!
Everything full circle leads to whiskey cheers🥃
apart hollywood over talking AGAIN , great reaction guys . :)
The Soft Cell cover was fused into "Tainted Love," but was it ever a separate track?
You should check out the Avril Lavigne cover of this from MTV Icon...
Actually, that whole show is worth a look... Snoop, Staind, Korn, Sum 41, Limp Bizkit...
Different levels of quality in the covers for sure but it's good fun
You guys would like Hellyeah, Shadows Fall, Chevelle, and Prophets of Rage
Guys check out some texas thrash
"Dead horse"
1. Like Asrielle

It’s impossible for me to hear this song, and not think of the Hot Wheels Turbo Racing on PS1. 😂
Overkill-Electric Rattlesnake!! Great thrash!!
My fav Metallica joint
I would love a new section like Chronological Reactions for some bands. One song for album (one for video, and in order) with that u can see the true evolution of bands.
I would love it if you start with Judas Priest but Metallica could be a good starting point
🍻 from Uruguay, big supporter since your early days here
NASCAR didn’t just use this song in an ad, they used this as bumper music going into and coming out of commercial breaks during televised races for several years

My favorite Metallica album was the Black Album. Favorite song is Enter Sandman.
You guys should react to some more Coheed and Cambria!
Its about cars, fast, loud, wicked, mean and nasty cars.
The other car was a mid 60s Nova
Either way 'Fuel' is one of my favourite Metallica tunes. Any combination of Motorsport and Heavy Metal gets a thumbs up from me! 👍
You guys have to do Godsmack Speak!
This is my favorite ❤
Need to look up a video on the TH-cam called Metallica “every yeah”
Reload is same as load not getting back to old sound. But still great
Great song live
