    Awesome video buddy, it has definitely come a long way since I first started using it
    Only thing I'd say is lacking is documentation on set up should be in the git repository as many times I've had to go back to discord for troubleshooting but that may come later down the line
    I'm likely going to buy a set of his pedals and shifter at some point too when I upgrade to a better less flimsy rig
    Keep the videos coming

    Hi, i've ordered a Ali stm32 board in order to put it onto the TDD board with the HoanTV FFB software. We are kind of struggling though to get it flashed. I have the usb cheapcharlie v2 programmer, but it doesnt seem to work although it states programming completed. maube its a good idea to make a summary video in how to flash it, and what steps to be taken. As i understood, there needs to be made/deleted a bridge on the TDD board as well, but i dont know whichone. These are small issues, that can consume a lot of time, where a video would help, which boostst support as a result as well. Just a tip. And keep up the good work! I Lllllove it!!

    • @peacemakermotion3949
      @peacemakermotion3949  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did go through the steps of flashing. But you have to remember I have the V1 prototype TDD which uses a waveshare core407V as stated in the video. I don't have to cut any traces.. just flash and go. You'd have to ask thanos what needs cutting.. I'm unfamiliar with what stm32 board yous use nowadays.. it should be as simple as looking up that board and finding out how to flash it..
      If someone donates me a new board then sure I can make a video but yeah its a bit hard without one. How long does it say it took to flash? Mine is like 2.5secs

    Hi guys. I do have one firmware i wanted to compare with this new one. Its the emc development firmware. I have the "full" version. From what i saw on the vnm you need to have one stm32 on each of your components (using too many usb ports) and for the emc version it needs only one stm32f10xxx (blue or blackpill) and you already have the xy axis shifter. I really dont know if its worth the upgrade...? give it a try 😉

    Hi Chris, did you use a TTD board with external DAC in this video? Or were you just using software DAC of VNMware?

    • @peacemakermotion3949
      @peacemakermotion3949  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats using the TDD DAC. To use software DAC you have to solder jumpers and cut traces etc. Which kind of defeats the purpose of the TDD.. would just turn it into an expensive breakout board haha. If you want to use software DAC just buy a cheap stm32 board and wore that up like my diy video. You can get boards for like a fraction of the cost of a discovery board that will work (like the black board used in the TDD).

    @Peacemaker Motion I have a Thanos board and am trying to run VNM Wheelbase on it. Having some trouble with it. I've gotten to the point where the UI recognizes the wheel, but the wheel won't lock at normal 900 deg of rotation locks. it can rotate past that. Also the calibrate function doesn't work, I click it but it doesn't do anything. Then randomly it will start shaking. Any thoughts on how to fix that? Is there something I need to do to the Thanos board to make it work? I've seen something about the pin outs in VNM being different than MMOS, if that is true do you know what needs to be changed?

      Those were the user effects i turned off. I only use them to test forces outside of a game and in the software. I guess if a game had weak ffb effects you could run a bit of extra dampening etc with these effects but they are just constant effects and not driven by the games data. Not sure if people use them in game or not.. there is another button I forgot to click on which has all 12 effects and their gains listed but I just leave them all maxed out.
      MMOS has the same user effects option but you can only play with one at a time via a drop down box hence why I'm assuming they are only intended for testing purposes..
