-don’t give up ofc
-work hand by hand either left hand first or right hand first
-after learning one part pause and practice it a few times until it is nice a steady

Started playing piano in late September this year. I'm a total beginner and I wanted to learn this piece first but I'm lazy to learn music sheet and here I am now learned 4 songs without music sheet just from all of your tutorials and trying again to learn this. You really have the most simplest tutorial and I love it so much.
There are a ton of apps to learn music theory as well as the musical notes. It's fun and educational! It will makes learning so much easier in the long run.

Finally got through the 1st bit with the sheet music. I have found it the only way to work out which note goes with which hand ✋ at any given time.
Can do both hands separately easily but still working on hands combined.

@@croatianindividual this is geared more towards those who are learning with sheet music. It's not a beginners tutorial/piece, and feel the speed isn't too fast. You can pause/rewind/alter the speed of the video.

In one of Yiruma performances of this song he goes into 6 measures of beautiful improvisation at around the 2 minute mark of the video. Hint hint.

For everyone who's trying to learn both hands together, count the rhythm( you'll probably find some vids on how to do that ).
It'll help a lot if you can count the rhythm and it helps to synchronise the hands.

Well you earned yourself a sub and I will be checking you out more. I will let you know of my process. I like the way you teach I feel like I can get it soon enough slow and steady wins the race or ummm so to speak haha
It would be better if you had Written the letters above in the video like faded and if the speed was slow
This is aimed at those whose who would rather use sheet music, as this piece isn't as simple as faded. I have to try accommodate for everyone! This is an intermediate piece of music. I receive 'complaints' (even tho my videos are free...) that I go TOO slow.
Just an opinion. I think if you teach each section and then you play it in the way it is supposed to sound it’s better to memorize and the melody gets straight to you head. Rather than the whole piece in a slow motion ‘cause at the end we don’t really know how it sounds and I know we can always go and listen to the original song but if the tutorial already shows you that, the song gets stuck in your head a little more. It’d also be beneficial if at the end of the video you would play all together in the normal speed. You do amazing by dividing sections but it would be good to do the slow version and then at normal speed.
I have to be mindful of making the tutorials too long. I would have had to upload full play through in a separate video anyways. Thanks though 👍

Forgive me. Just a little suggestion. Before starting a new line, maybe play the line in a way how it is supposed to sound normally. You start a new line so slow, I need to learn the piece first just to figure out later "oh this is that part". Sorry, it's from a beginner's perspective

If the audience could listen to the line at normal speed even before they started learning it, then maybe it would be better to grasp. Just a thought. I'm sorry it's just what I felt while learning. I had to go back and listen to the original piece first just to recognise the melody of that section and then again resumed here.
@@SirCasm I did have the intention of playing the whole thing through at the end of each tutorial, but there's a tonne of other people playing it on youtube and would make each video file just too big for my computer to process. Had to include what was actually necessary

The original piece is in F# minor key..
It's definitely A major (F# minor is the relative minor which has the same key signature).
@@BitesizePiano ohh maybe in piano.. i play fingerstyle guitar too, we play normally with a capo on 2nd fret which becomes E minor from F sharp 😊😊... Bdw nice tutorial, i am learning keyboard too.. yours is great
@@samkzz9148 if it's the same notes then it's definitely in A major. A is the 'home' note throughout, not F#! (The piece ends on an A!)
@@BitesizePiano yes i got it now 😊.. ive arranged this song too on guitar.. the thing is we play the song with a capo on 2nd fret.. which means the song becomes in the key of E minor.. so e minor, c maj, g maj and d maj.. but you're right... i play a little differently.. but yes i get it what you're saying
How do we know when to play two keys together from left hand and right hand and when to play them separately?
