Do you think you could make a video about a deck featuring Sierra in the future? I’d love to hear your thoughts on how Axiom, and specifically Sierra, might perform against the blue Waru faction. Its really interesting seeing the uniques affect deckbuilding so much. I pulled a robin hood that draws me cards and I've taken my waru deck in a much more controly, grindy direction. I'm glad that as far as uniques are concerned, we wont ever have completely "solved" decks. I will say the lategame package in waru seems to be the weakest part of my list, and I've already noticed how vital the 1-drop >> 2-drop is on turn 1 so I'll probably be taking a few leads from this list.
@@OxygenOmg having a 1 drop to play on the hero side day 1 if they play something like a baba on the other can be really good. It's also important to play your sleeping bureaucrats at the right time to avoid teamwork training. I do think the matchup can be pretty even so on the days you get ahead you really need to win both sides or sleep 2 bureaucrats to overwhelm them the next day.
Well done mate! Sad to see the lack of issitoq and bountiful meadow but I'm guessing while waru is king those troopers are just that much more viable for early game aggression

congrats trickster! 2 questions -- 1. you said that your other two decks you didnt have the phyiscal uniques.... if you did... would you have brought a different deck? 2. in your opinion, what are the best uniques/unique effects for Alfanas?
@@zacwhite3539 I think that Fen and Afanas are on a pretty similar power level to Waru but in all honestly I probably would have still chosen Waru over them because I think he is more consistent and I feel more confident outplaying newer players with his weaker hands. I think the other two will be more likely to lose a couple of games where it will be out of your control. As for Teija if I could pick any 3 uniques I wanted I actually probably would have brought it. I still don't think I'd say that Waru is worse than Teija but as long as you avoid treyst and afanas she should be plenty good into the Top decks. I actually do have the uniques for Treyst but I think the Waru matchup is too poor and for Sig but that hero feels a little underpowered right now.
@@zacwhite3539 for afanas I want cards that let me reuse the best spells over again from the reserve. There is a big disparity between the best and okay spells in the deck. Spindle Harvesters and Reds are often the best.
I’m currently running a Waru & Mack list but I haven’t been able to get any uniques for it. And recommendations on what I can use for a list without uniques
@@Sarleeg56721 I'd remove the three uniques, a rare sandman, and the paper herald and run another rare frog, 2 common cadets, and 2 common kakoba. I think that kakoba might even be alright as a common to surprise your opponent with some extra stats. If you don't like that you can run 2 common isitoq instead. Let me know how that works!
@@RarecuisineSaucegod-ig8bc I didn't say. One is just being borrowed so I guess the cost of shipping it twice, one cost around $40 a while back, and the other was $40 +3 trades and shipping. I'm excited for the marketplace. I've gotten a lot of cards like these for around $30-40 but you have to do a lot of looking to find the perfect deal.
If you could change anything about the deck or about Waru to help balance the meta and make the deck feel more in line with the rest of the meta, what would you change?
@@bobothehobo4158 I dislike double robin hood. I wish that if two were out the effects didn't stack. The deck is already so good and I don't think it needs the random auto wins on top of it.
waru even with a single robin hood feels bad to play against, but not unplayable. when you get 2, or god forbid, even 3 out, it makes me just want to not play the game at all. managed to get a waru mirror on ladder where I managed to get 3 robin hoods out together, it was pretty much over. I think they need to remove the bureaucrat key word and make it not stack
