Excellent guide! I’ve only played a couple factions, but so far I’m loving Muna. The mushroom pals are too cute, and the combos you can pull off to flood your characters with boost tokens is too much fun.
This is a very neatly produced video. Deserves a subscribe to the channel for sure. As for favourite factions, I'm usually drawn to ones that represent high-principled utopianism, and in the case of Altered I think that faction might be Ordis.
I’m absolutely loving this new channel and can’t wait for more content. I got myself both the Ysmir and Lyra sets and thought I would like Ysmir better but I’m actually loving the Lyra dice-rolling mechanic! Keep up the awesome work.
@@IvanNewGame2do you mean the actual physical token character cards? If so, there’s some in all the starter decks, and booster packs have a chance of having them as the final card, so if you want to have a good collection of them quickly I’d recommend just picking up one of the starter decks :)
Great video. I'm planning to play this game with my friend who hasn't played it before so this will be helpful. For me, favorite faction is Lyra because it just feels really good to play.
Great overview! Really answered all my questions. I think in terms of favourite faction, I would have to go with Yzmir. Something about knowledge seeking in astrange new world really resonates with me.
Torn on my fav faction at the moment but going to go with Lyra as I do love a dice role... Great videos by the way keep them coming I'm a new player and love the content.

I like disruption gameplay so I guess my favorite faction is Yzmir (also they're purple) but that's from a person who's just recently heard about the game and never tried it. Huge tcg nerd otherwise, though.
The issue I have with this is that conflict is generally accepted practise for tabletop card games. I get that this game is geared towards collaboration, but it makes for weaker and less fleshed-out gameplay if we have already established that sabotaging and damaging other players is 'feels bad'. I also feel a lot of the rarity cycles were at least partially inspired by Keyforge. I guess it'll all come down to how interaction plays out and whether they can make it as engaging. Might give it a go though. Axiom probs fave.
It's very much a themeing choice rather than a lack of conflict in the game play. I have a full dimir-style control deck that wins by wiping out my opponent's characters, the cards just don't depict those characters as being murdered and drowned in swamps haha. Which makes sense as well, those characters are only leaving temporarily if they go to the reserve. It's sort of like almost every card has flashback
I'm a dyed in the wool MTG player, who has precons from other TCGs re: Force of Will, Sorcery (feels more like a board game with customisable components) etc. Altered is going up against Lorcana and Pokemon in the younger player space - although a lot of adults play and collect Pokemon. Looks different and has a different feel. I get Hyrule vibes from Altered. Whereas Lorcana feels like a card game ala Pokémon, Altered feels to me like it straddles the board and card gane space - but not as much as Sorcery. Going to need to watch a game of Altered to get a feel for gameplay. I like the artwork and world-building, as well ss doing something a lil different from standard games. I'm moving away from metas, netdecks, spikes, et al. I want to sit down with someone and play physical cards without worrying about all the meta crap (and without a $10 whore of a company like WotC).

This guide helped us so much, we're getting into the game! Thank you so much and keep it up!
Axiom is definitely my favorite so far. I love making tons of 1/1/1s all over the place

Hard to pick a favorite without having played firsthand, but Bravos has my interest right now.
I’m absolutely loving this new channel and can’t wait for more content.

Keep up the awesome work.
My favorite faction so far is Lyra. Hope to see more Altered content from you.
Very well explained! My favorite faction is Ordis so far. But can't wait to try out Bravos as well.
So far, I'm a big fan of Muna's play style but for flavor I'd have to say Axiom is my favorite.
I bought all of the starter decks and am loving the game so far! My favourite faction so far is Axiom, I’m really loving the little BrassBugs
How do you get the token characters?

I've been a fan of the Lyra faction, although I enjoy the game as a whole.
Awesome guide! Haven't played Altered yet but from what I've seen, I think Lyra might be my favourite faction
Great overview! Really answered all my questions. I think in terms of favourite faction, I would have to go with Yzmir. Something about knowledge seeking in astrange new world really resonates with me.
Clear and concise! I'm a big fan of bravos at the moment!
It's honestly a hard choice but if I had to choose my favorite overall? It's Axiom; can't go wrong with steampunk.
Torn on my fav faction at the moment but going to go with Lyra as I do love a dice role...
Great videos by the way keep them coming I'm a new player and love the content.
Dice rolling just feels so good
My favorite faction is Yzmir because I like the thematic art such as magic, cosmic, and wizards.
Im such a fan of yzmir. I love having more info before making my decisions
Great video! I think Muna's my favorite one for now. Big fan of this Shroom.
Haven't played yet, but this video definitely makes it sound fun. I feel like I'd be drawn to Muna or Yzmir.

I really like the art of muna's but I had been playing Bravos
My favorite faction is Lyra because I also enjoy rolling dice to see what happens next!
Muna as I love their environment focus.
Favorite faction is probably Bravos
I like disruption gameplay so I guess my favorite faction is Yzmir (also they're purple) but that's from a person who's just recently heard about the game and never tried it. Huge tcg nerd otherwise, though.
