    This is such a great detailed video on the Delphi fuel system.Information like this cannot be found anywhere on youtube.I will say when bobcat went to teir
    4 fuel systems it created a big problem with diagnosing these systems especially if u do not have the proper software.But I know their hands were tied because of the epa.To me the Kubota engines with the mechanical injectors were the best system to have .If u suspected a bad injector u would put in on the pop tester check for leaking and opening pressures.If it failed we would tear it down replace the nozzle and spring ,good to go for another 3000 hours 50 dollar repair in 10 minutes.And your right the doosan is a great engine its really too bad it gets a bad rap because of the fuel system.Another great video Brady

    Thanks for the videos, hands down the best I've seen. I have been a power sports tech most of my career and just bought my first mini excavator. I have been watching your videos and have learned a bunch. Could you please make a video about fuel additives and using off-road diesel with the Delphi system. Seems like a lot of opinions out there. Thanks!

    Awesome vid!
    Have a s590 I was working on. Very hard starting when cold. I did a 2k hr service on it and 3 of the 4 glow plugs were shot. Still hart to start. Starting to think its injectors.
    Who do you use to clean/rebuild them?
    Will see about doing a leak test also.
    Again, great vid. Pressure differential in those injectors controlled fire by a small coil. Neat.

    great video thank you just wondering ,i have 4 delphi injectors on a jcb310 loader and its hard starting ,when we test the 4 injectors we find every thing is good but a little excess return fuel returning about 20 cc on a 1 minute test on a similar tester on your video ,i wonder is that too much

    Love your videos keep them coming! I have a question Kubota common rail in my T250 and accidentally ran with bad fuel that had water in it - now the only way to start is with starting fluid, bad injectors or bad injector pump?

      Sounds like an injector leaking which won't allow pump to make enough pressure to start because of the low RPM from the starter. The starting fluid helps turn the engine faster and then the pump can keep up. If it runs good once started I would have injectors tested but I think pump is ok.

      @@tetradgroup Okay, I replaced with brand new injectors and it fired up once all the air got out of the system and ran. let it run for about 5 min. Shut off and fired right back up. Took out and did some work and came back to shop shut off and it would not start back up unless I used a little shot of brake cleaner, it fired up and ran. Sounds like my injector pump isnt building enough pressure to start so only thing left is the injector pump, any other suggestions?

    Should the injectors have 12v going to them im currently checking out a buddys bobcat with a d24 and its not starting ive checked multiple things but noticed only 2.2v at injector not sure where to get a wiring diagram

      Injectors are high frequency high voltage, very difficult to check voltage. Never seen a voltage issue, usually another issue that would cause ECU to disable injectors.

    Do the injectors need to come from bobcat or just simply be the same Delphi injector?

      It does not have to be Bobcat injectors (Delphi in a Bobcat box) but will need to be programmed by Bobcat due the the proprietary engine software and interface. That's not to say there is not others who can program but might be hard to find.

      You can buy zozzle kits but it would still have to have c3i coding performed unfortunately so best to just buy remanufactured or new.

    Good morning. I have a e42 that is throwing code on cylinder 2 injector. I am trying to find a diagram of how the cylinders are numbered. Are they numbered left to right 1-4? Thanks for the help.

      Fan side is #1 so looking at engine right to left

    If I put in new injectors and don't have them calibrated will it hurt the engine?

      Over time yes in theory it can harm the engine as the fuel delivery rate and injection timing can be off.

    What does the ecm need to see to open injectors? Does it see the crank sensor?

    I love watching your videos, but since douson took over, Bobcat is shit. Electrical connectors being trash to moisture invasion, dude, that's like 50 years ago problems.
