I appreciate and love my LUMOS MATRIX with MIPS. It also has a white front LED an large LED rear panel. It works great and seamless with Apple iPhone and Apple Watch.

Great helmet especially for electric scooters because scooters can't have lights mounted high in the back. I love my smart helmet. The indicating signals are especially good for electric scooter riders as it's not a good idea to let go of the handle bars in faster scooters

This helmet is much better if there is a detachable or attachable front mount face clear cover to protect from dust and wund resistance while riding not all bikers wanted a eye glass protection to wear Like a sunglasses
It's very nice but while riding, I have to face mosquitos, dust, rain ect... the mirror protection for my eye is a must!
Been using this for almost a year. The main problem is the inability to cancel a turn signal like what you would do on a motor bike by pushing the indicator button (or the center button on the control that comes with it). The speakers quality is poor. Definitely much room for improvement. Will I buy another one.? No.

Not sure. I would think that you can pair only one helmet at a time.
Does this model, have white lights forward?
@@TWOWHEELSGOODmobility I didn't order the Neo.. I figured two lights on the scooter plus the BH51 would be enough. Since taking ones hand off of the handle is not safe, I figured the rear turn signals would be great. I have a bar-end mirror on the left, so can't use the bar-end lights.
Music is very important for me so I might just stick with a regular helmet and headphones.
Pro trick: watch series on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.

just a handy tip, get some reverb tiles the echo is extremely bad.
not trying to be rude btw just worked with people that do twitchTV, also the lighting is to over bloomed, also when on Carma try not to ware the same clothing couler as your soundings otherwise you are easily boring the people that are more engaged by coulor.

I just bought one
Bought one of these for when I ride my bicycle, but have found it is also excellent when riding my electric unicycle. Having the built in speakers means I get constant updates on my speed, distance travelled, and also battery level. Really useful, as is the phone functions. Yes it is expensive, but worth every penny in my opinion. Great review as well, thanks :)

@@alxhidrobo Yeah I do as well as one of their newer models. They claim about 10 hours battery life and although I haven't really tried to time it exactly, I reckon it's probably closer to 9 hours. But bear in mind I have had my helmet for quite a while now so there will have been some degradation in battery life.

@@alxhidrobo Yeah very visible in daylight. I actually bought my latest model of theirs through Indiegogo, that's how much I like their helmets and that they would deliver something high quality. No complaints here buddy. I wouldn't choose any other make personally. Well, nice to meet someone from Columbia :) I'm from Manchester in the U.K :)

Als Technik "Nerd" musste ich den Helm natürlich haben! Ich habe sogar zwei davon...
Einmal den Limitierten zum 4 Jährigen und einmal den neueren Neo.
Leider setzen beide bei mir mittlerweile Staub an und ich nutze den Lumos Matrix...
Sowohl der BH51, als auch der neuere Neo haben beide ein Softwareproblem und Bewertungen auf diversen Seiten zeigen, dass ich nicht der einzige damit bin...
Das Ganze stellt sich so dar, dass sich der Helm sporadisch nicht mehr ausschalten und bedienen lässt...
Man muss ihn dann für viele Stunden von alleine ausgehen lassen, um ihn dann mit Glück wieder laden zu können.
Und die Blinker LEDs sind am Tag bei Sonnenschein nicht wirklich zu erkennen...
Mich hat das dann nur noch genervt, so dass ich auf den Lumos Matrix umgestiegen bin.
Klar, der hat keine Lautsprecher, wie der Livall, aber hat mich Softwareseitig noch nie im Stich gelassen und seine LEDs (er hat auch Blinker und sogar ein Bremslicht) sind auch am Tage gut sichtbar.
So gerne und gut ich die Livalls eigentlich vom Design und den Features her finde (auch preislich attraktiver als ein Matrix), so ärgerlicher fand ich die Softwareprobleme...
Ich kann nur allen die Daumen drücken, dass ihr dieses Aufhängen nicht habt, denn dann ist das ein toller Helm!
Leider hab ich zwei mal, also mit der "alten" und "neuen" Generation vom Helm (hatte gehofft in der neuen ist es gefixt...) ins Klo gegriffen und bin leider von Livall geheilt. :-/
@@TWOWHEELSGOODmobility Hi, Ich bin SEHR zufrieden mit dem Lumos Matrix. Ich werde auch sehr oft darauf angesprochen und wo man ihn kaufen kann (in Deutschland exklusiv im Apple Store...). Er ist teuer, ja ich weiß, aber Verarbeitung finde ich sehr gut. Die Fernbedienung könnte etwas schöner sein, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Sie funktioniert aber einwandfrei und hat einen Akku. Man steckt sie, wenn man den Helm lädt einfach in ein dafür vorgesehenes Fach im Helm und lädt beides Gleichzeitig.
Es kommen auch immer wieder Updates und neue LED Signaturen.
Bremslicht (Gyrosensor in der Fernbedienung) funktioniert einwandfrei.
Es gibt beim Matrix aktuell nur 1-2 (2,5) Punkte, die ich kritisieren würden.
1. Der Preis. Er ist hoch, aber da der Helm bisher völlig fehlerfrei funktioniert und mich über den Ärger mit den zwei Livalls "getröstet" hat, hab ich es akzeptiert ;-)
2. So toll ich den Helm und das Design finde, aber bei 30 Grad + ist er einfach aufgrund seiner recht geschlossenen Bauweise sehr warm. Gut ich hab ihn in schwarz... Es gibt ihn auch in weiß (war mir zu schmutzanfällig) und da ist es evtl. besser. Auf der anderen Seite ist dieser Punkt aber auch gleichzeitig ein Vorteil im Herbst, oder Winter (ich fahre 365 Tage im Jahr, ausser es liegt Schnee bzw. es ist glatt und/oder es hat unter -5 Grad, denn dann wird's auch mir zu kalt...) denn dann friert man nicht so schnell am Kopf...
2,5 Die Gesten Steuerung mit der Apple Watch... Ist zwar nett gedacht, dass wenn ich meinen Arm zum Richtungswechsel nach links ausstrecke (trage die Uhr an der linken hand) auch gleichzeitig der Blinker nach links mit angeht, aber den linken Arm angewinkelt nach oben zu strecken, um nach rechts zu blinken?!? Lange Rede kurzer Sinn, die Gestensteuerung nutze ich überhaupt nicht. Ich nutze die Fernbedienung für den Blinker. (und zusätzlich in den meisten Fällen an Gefahrenstellen auch den Arm, auch wenn ich weiß, dass nur der Arm in Deutschland zählt ;-) )
PS: Ich bin so zufrieden mit dem Lumos Matrix, dass ich die Lumos Ultra Kickstarter Kampagne unterstützt habe und mich auf diesen Helm für die wärmeren Tage freue ;-)
seems a little too easy to simulate an "accident" seems like it will be sending text messages every time you throw the helmet on the sofa

I have no iron in the fire so to speak but I suggest if you really, really believe in that methinks dumb helmet even as an agent then prepare grommets, adjust blintzes and take all the product and sell you can to firstly Whistler Mountain here in British Columbia, if those Millionaires don't buy it then you know where you stand...
@@TWOWHEELSGOODmobility Wrapping things-up as I'm supposed to be retired, burn that outfit I saw, obtain a clothing ensemble suitable for a North-American tour and go with or without contacts, bring all the stock you can and make pre-arrangements on how you can deliver anything anyhow, if all fails re delivery just lie like everyone else does...
