I subscribed just now because after listening to the Golden Globe videos I became so emotional and outraged by your treatment, and that of your partner, by the Golden Globe organisation. Also, I love cinema and film. By the way, I think some of the writing in "Sex and the city" is excellent. However, the series presents a group of women utterly isolated from the wider world. In the end, I find the solipsistic universe that has been created- and I know it is designed as escapist and comedic - as disturbing. I wish the wider world "interfered" a bit more. I am British and perhaps too prosaic.

Discussing your own experiences /relationships / behaviors could be part of the discussions of the plot. We know Colleen Hoover treat the subject matter too lightly on many occasions, that Lively seems to have continued, whereas Baldoni publicized the issue as more serious. I worry that at the center of all this is a difference in interpretation and priority, that has lead to endless mud slinging.
But looking back to the news reports on the film set It End With Us the reporting was negative but for example edited very of the film was that the version she give ok on the sex scenes and not the version she felt uncomfortable doing those scenes

And some viewers were shocked as they did not know this was a movie with a heavy topic. I think everyone has off moments in life. Your interview is also old. No one knows what she deals with behind the scenes in her own life, growth she has made as an individual in the past 8 years. Have you ever read your memories of posts on socials from 8 years ago? 😳 I think celebrities should be given grace. Judgment should be weighted on consistency of behavior not off moments. Yes, Blake is a special kind of nasty to make this complaint public on Christmas Eve. She not only ruined Baldoni’s Christmas, she ruined everyone else’s too. Because we were all forced to learn about the dirt she had put out. I don’t believe she was the victim at all, at best she exaggerated “her truth”.
I think she was pissed her booze didn’t sell, nobody wore any florals and everyone thought she was tone deaf promoting the movie. Being a mean girl during interviews didn’t help her reputation either.

Many DV survivors were triggered and spoke out about how disrespectful she was towards survivors of DV taking a casual and at times dismissive approach to the topic of the movie.
