However, I will also apologize if I act out of pocket and misunderstood the intent.
after learning about the intent and knowing that she is infertile, I would’ve absolutely reached out to apologize and make amends.

It's sad how It Ends With Us was supposed to be a serious dramatic movie that tackles domestic violence that the director wanted it, yet Blake treated it like it's this romcom that so bubbly and fun. Clearly, she was the wrong actress for those type of movie. Rachel McAdams or Elle Fanning could've been a far better choice than her 🤷

Let’s not forget that even the author herself co-signed Blake’s behavior and is going along with it. The problems start with Coleen Hoover, she apparently had a ton of input in the movie as well. The lighthearted tone is directly CH’s influence, she even tried promoting the book with a coloring book and describing it as a fun romcom.

One incident doesn't define someone's true behavior, but a series of the same incidents does reveal someone's true character. It is painfully obvious that Lively has a pattern of being smug and dismissive and treating others inferior to her. You always catch someone's true nature when they think no one is looking.

I think it’s one thing if regular people (not involved in Hollywood) are calling out their behavior, but for journalists who interview celebrities, it’s a bit more complicated.Criticizing them could hurt these journalists' chances of being invited to future junkets if they gain a reputation for providing negative coverage. It’s similar to how whistleblowers often have trouble finding new jobs because potential employers might be concerned about the negative consequences of hiring someone who has exposed sensitive company information before.

@L4tteholic True. I hope this whole thing doesn't affect Kjersten's career negatively. I kind of wish she had just released the interview without that title and let the chips fall where they may. It spoke for itself, and no one could accuse her of trying to make someone she interviewed look bad. Blake sat for that with the intention of it being made public. That was the whole point. Blake claims to be a feminist, but she literally gave crap to another woman here. A woman who is far from influential like her and Parker. This is a problem, cuz two famous powerful women felt comfortable tearing Kjersti down cuz they knew she wasn’t a threat to them (well, little did they know). Blake was congratulated for her pregnancy also by Seth Meyers, and she was definitely NICER to him why? Cuz SETH HAS a platform and she felt definitely more conscious about what she CAN say back to someone who offended her. THIS shows Blake is exactly what is wrong with Hollywood, narcissists and FAKE activists who love to be praised, commended for advocating for this and that when in reality it’s always about their ego.

everyone knows it's short for "baby bump," and even then if it was wrong (which it is not), Lively shouldn't have fatshamed Kjersti! Prior to the interview, the pregnancy was already publicly announced so there is guesswork being done here whether what bump she has. Pregnancies are happy times in people's lives, hence her congratulating her before starting with the questions.
Asking "what's wrong with you people" when there were a million ways she could have been professional and steered away from that aggressive tone. Celebrities are taught media literacy ffs
She *chose* to be rude the entire interview. She *chose* not to look at the interviewer. She and Posey *chose* to exclude her from the conversation. There is an entire minute from the interviewer where they were just talking to each other.
There's a reason why a lot of people who have been bullied by mean girls in high school have been resonating with the interviewer. I myself can relate as I've had experiences eerily identical to this, and I cringe everytime I see clips of it.

I stopped putting celebs on a pedestal when I left teenhood and grew up. Anyway, you can never have too many sweet supportive comments, so here's another. I'm not much on celeb stuff but I've been a subber for a few years bc I like your style and personality. You're empathetic, present, and create interesting convo. Not so common.
I only know you from your channel, but you seem like a genuinely good decent human, and my gut is _usually_ right. Too bad it was wrong about Lively. I'll for sure never look at her the same way now.

I’m SO glad you shared your experience. I work in the same business and have experienced bullying by bigger names. And you really inspired me. 🥰❤
A lot of celebrities AND news anchors and on air personalities behave like this. They bully the little guy, the person who works behind the scenes or the PA and often times were made to feel like the help with no agency. No one wants to ever confront the bigger name and they get conditioned that it’s okay to be a bad apple. Well it’s not okay! And it’s really time we stop glorifying people who are on tv, just because they’re on tv, or are your favorite artists and start recognizing they’re no more special than you and I! ❤❤❤

You were absolutely a doll with them, you were so nice and kind, and it sad because I feel like interviewers like you are so needed nowadays. You are def a gentle soul and you were very kind even in that uncomfortable situation. I hope you get to see this comment because you deserve to be recognised for how kind and calm you managed to stay in that interview with people who were being rude. Good for you, it spoke volumes of who you are as a person and a professional!

I'm GLAD you called her out..she deserved it and you deserved a voice to say hey I was treated very very badly. If more people speak up these over inflated , over paid celebrities might think pat there egos. They NEED the media and they need the fans ...some of them need a good reminder of that!!!

Im sorry you went through that, the way she completely ignored you was so unbelievably rude. Amazing how some celebrities treat non celebrities as if they aren’t even human. And then they expect us to buy their products and watch their movies as if we didn’t notice 😂😂

My main concern is how to survive all of these financial and political crisis, especially in light of the US political power scuffle. The government has really called things more difficult for its citizens, and we can't sit back and bear all the consequences of the bad governance.

Good on you Kjersti for bringing this to light. No-one should be subjected to such disrespectful behaviour. It was very revealing and hopefully will help to dispel the myth that celebrities like Blake Lively should get a free pass to be rude and dismissive to people they wrongly perceive to be beneath them.

  • @lukemaher2000

You did absolutely nothing wrong by uploading that interview. She (& Posey) deserved to be called out for the incredibly rude behaviour. She made a drama out of something that wasn't worth making a drama out of. You congratulated her on her pregnancy, and all she had to say was, "Thank you." You didn't insult her at all, it was a polite gesture and she in turn behaved like a spoilt brat towards you. I honestly didn't mind her as an actress or as a person from what I had seen of her in other interviews, but I always had a hunch that she is shallow and completely out of touch with reality. Your interview, along with all these other clips that have resurfaced, have basically proved that. It makes complete sense why you'd hold off on calling her out for 8 years because you're right. These people have been given so much power that they believe that they can walk over those who they see as beneath them. She's now getting what she deserves. You're great at your job. Don't let her or people like her make you think otherwise.

This is one of the reasons I loved Britney so much in her heyday. She was always nice and everyone who met her said how sweet she was. She had so much fame and power but she didn’t let it corrupt who she was. Sadly it had bad consequences for her in other ways but I will always admire her character
