That steering club is good but those that lock the brake pedal to the steering wheel preventing the brake from being pushed and the wheel from being turned
Get some insanely thick chain and loop one end through the steering wheel and the other through the seat frame and lock them together with a heavy duty lock. I have specialty locks that are impossible to pick and stupid thick so good luck cutting through them. That way even if they start the truck they can’t turn the wheel. Also pull the IDM relay, no power to the IDM, no starting of the engine then.
that won't work, and neither will the "Club". they don't have to cut through the chain/club, they'll just cut through the steering wheel and slide the club or chain off and drive away, laughing (assuming they were able to defeat all the other anti-theft measures)
As long as the thief has no knowledge of your hydra that can be an anti theft device too. Your last position on your hydra is “nS” which is No Start. When you have it set to this it will crank no start because it cuts fueling. I use this when I park my truck for work because I work in a sketchy area. All you gotta do to disengage your no start is change it to one of your normal tunes and then cycle the key once.

My truck is a stickshift so it's unlikely they'll figure out how to drive it. Also my lock cylinder was replaced on the driver's side and the metal bar to pull on isn't in the truck anymore due to my own frustration. Once you're inevitably woken up by the sounds of the truck starting, a really good tool once you get out to the thief is a 12 gauge.
I knew a guy years ago that put an additional alarm siren inside his truck. He let us test it out. If you think they're loud while under the hood, you should hear them when it's inside the vehicle. I mean ear-piercing loud and almost makes you want to vomit it hurts so much.
My 96 chevy 2500 6.5 has a lock under the dash that when you press it locks the hood shut (with a pin /cable) and jumps a relay so it wont start. (Killed my batterys once bc i didnt know what it was)
That trick under the hood starts it but won't take it out of park.. shift interlock means the brake pedal has to be depressed before it'll come out of park
Cyclops anti theft device - replaces the IDM relay with a relay + key fob combo. It'll crank but not start so they'll think your truck is just a POS ;)
So they get by everything or tow it away. What then. Two items. Apple air tag as a decoy. They know it’s there and throw it away. Lone star tracking GPS installed deep in your dash and has a battery backup if they unplug the battery. Know where your truck is all the time!!!
My '05 6.0 got stolen less than 24 hours after buying it, so I did not have the luxury to equip it with any anti-theft measures! Buying time is what its all about, the other items not mentioned is a tracking device, I would also take my drive shafts out and batteries, just to be sure lol jk, good tips!
Bought my first powerstroke loved it until it was stolen with all my work tools in it a week ago just got it running perfect....got it back a 2 days ago passenger side damage and motor vehicle is trash now barely turns over and wont start .im broke tooless truckless and sh out of luck
Well if I ever get the money to fix it I'll definitely do that.but probably going to sell it for a beater and recoup some tools first.thanks for the video
My truck was actually stolen then found with no damage 30 minutes away from where it was stolen they just poped the lock on the front door and jumped the terminals.
That steering club is good but those that lock the brake pedal to the steering wheel preventing the brake from being pushed and the wheel from being turned
Best anti theft device is owning a manual transmission truck 😂
Yessir 🤙🏽
💯
Yet another W for stick shifts. Bonus points when it's straight piped so it wakes up the entire neighborhood.
If the thief can’t drive a stick shift, that would be correct.
My dad’s truck is a manual transmission.
Don’t even have alarm on mine. Brick under clutch pedal best one😂
We should bring back some respect. The best anti-theft device. Sad what this world is coming to.

yesssir i use that as well i have a death pedal switch and its the number 3 mode
If I was ever in a sketchy place and had to keep my truck in a spot for a day or two I’d remove the frame rail fuel filter.

Oh yeah it also doesn't cold start half the time so they'll eventually just give up.
Awesome video, I'm being gifted my grandpas 2003 7.3 PSD and the area I live in is super prone to vehicle break ins. Thanks again!

#2 Cyclops
You should get a train horn so it'll really startle someone who tries to steal your truck
Yessir really want one.
Nathan Airchime K6. Then again that would sound like the actual trains in my area.
@@powerstrokecentralthen get one...or three😁

I think the club on the steering wheel and I think getting a dog that’s very vicious to camp out in your truck best theft protection ever😂

Do you know where I can get f250 fender badges without trim level for a 2001? I’d prefer ones with pins rather than the ones you just stick on
eBay
That trick under the hood starts it but won't take it out of park.. shift interlock means the brake pedal has to be depressed before it'll come out of park
I pull the Injector driver module relay and installed a electric train horn to my aftermarket alarm.
I have a 4x4 truck.. when parking at hotels I do the same.. fuel injector relay
hell yeah
@@powerstrokecentral gonna buy your kit...
@@camposvazquez awesome man!
@@camposvazquez I would really appreciate it my dad and I spent years making sure everything was prepped and made right

I don’t even need the anti theft device, they’ll still think my truck is a POS!
Can you start the truck by the relay if the key is not in the on position?
No

Will the injector video be Friday?
No sir sunday
Eh just wire a motion detector inside cab to the horn with hidden kill switch or maybe preasure momentary unde seat to the horn
Too bad you’re in Texas, I’ve got a rowdy 6.0 ready to race
where you at?
@@powerstrokecentral I’m in Illinois suburbs out of chicago.
Twenty times in ONE year!
Time to move, not install a kill switch!
What about thieves with wheel lift tow trucks?
You ain’t stopping them bud
If I buy your kit can I just replace the horn with a louder truck horn 😅
Yes sir
I got my new truck stolen a week b4 I installed my alarm system…. I had my truck 2 days out the lot
My anti-theft device is driving a truck that nobody wants to steal.

I'd get a brake lock.
Maybe you should consider moving... sounds like a bad neighborhood, but great ideas. Hope they leave your truck alone.
Get video dude!

Dog's and the 2nd Amendment.
They popped out my door handle completely to gain access to the rod to unlock. 9 out 10 is incorrect. 1 out of 10 is more like it.
Good lord, how many times has your truck been attempted to be stolen?!
Lol that club is the easiest thing to remove
And not true,,they literally cut the steering wheel to access ,,,come up with something better! After our 3 rd theft.
I don't know where you live but you might want to move.
