Personally, I didn´t get the feeling he was blaming GTA for his actions. Just that I it probably didn´t have a good impact on him. Got more of an impression that he was asked a direct question wheather he ever played GTA, and answered it.

This guys blames everything else except himself. The drugs did not make you a criminal, nor did some videogame. You made those choices and they were wrong. In between he constantly admits that it was actually really fun to do, he loved the rush.

I think you are reading too much into it. He didn't blame drugs, he merely pointed out that drug use leads to crime, which everyone knows. As far as saying it was fun, in order to tell his story he has to take his mind back to those days, and yes, I'm sure there was a rush to it and probably fun at the time. It's very clear he now fully recognizes how bad it was to to do that stuff.

I've personally used a wide variety of drugs (all in places where the drug I was using was legal). I got the money through legal employment, and never have I been like "you know what would make my acid hit better? Stealing a car and plowing over civilians on my way to get McDonald's with this $10 I just got by selling my bootyhole on the corner."
Drugs don't lead to further crime, criminals who deal drugs leverage addicts sickness that lead people to further crime.

What justice do you want? Just because he says he stole all those cars doesn’t mean he just gets tossed in prison. The State would still need evidence so as to charge and convict him, which definitely isn’t going to happen when the cars are long gone.
The fact he did serve some time, and went to drug treatment, and went on to help the police seems like a good outcome to me.
The goal with any career criminal is to rehabilitate them so they can be normal law abiding members of the community, which he is now. Why would you want to toss him back in prison where he would beat yet another burden on societal? Prisons are extremely expensive to operate.
The old adage is it’s cheaper to pay for someone to attend an Ivy League school, including an apartment and all necessary food and supplies, than it is to incarcerate them.
      Justice was served here.
By the way, the tear drop can mean MANY things. The whole “proof of kill” is a west coast gang thing. Elsewhere it means prison sentences, or a loved one’s sentence, etc etc.

Thats what most vets are looking for. When you enlist, it's all about your brothers and sisters to your right and to your left. When you get out, you're all on your own unless you go out of your way to maintain connection or find another community to be a part of. It is a major reason why many veterans self-delete, the lonliness turns to depression and substance abuse.
I personally hate the argument of blaming video games for real life actions, but I think GTA is the closest example to put the blame on as it depicts the real life actions of many people that live that life and the game glorifies it. I haven't had the urge to steal or kill because of a game, but if he says it's what motivated him, who am I to say "no it didn't". Obviouslythe need to feed a drug habbit and his poor mental state definitely played more of a role in his life choices.

The fact that this guy isn’t in prison for life says that our legal system doesn’t work.

Judges who sentence such light punishments are a joke and should be held accountable.

My car was taken from in front of my home. Disappeared without a trace. Most likely rolled into a waiting shipping container and taken to the port a few miles away. This particular car was worth more intact than parted out.

AND MOST DEFINITELY VEHICLE THIEVES , WILL USE THAT TO BURGLARIZE YOUR HOME OF ALL YOUR VALUABLES . TAKE A PIC
AND USE THAT TO SHOW LAW ENFORCEMENT , IF YOU YOURSELF GET PULLED OVER . THEY CAN ALSO ACCESS THE DMV SITE .

this guy is all bullshit. he says he stole a million dollars worth of cars. Then he says he stole over 300 cars. 300 cars at about 20k each is 6 million. Also says he got into multiple car chases in one day. Nah!

I played GTA III-V growing up and never thought about pursuing anything illegal in those games in real life. It was ENTERTAINMENT 😂. As a veteran, I'm glad he was able to get the necessary help and turn his life around.

This is another one of those reasons why I park INSIDE my garage.
Obviously wont keep my car save all the time but it makes it slightly harder to steal so...maybe it prevents it
