    I always liked the idea of boolean, but completely ignored it because of these limitations. Besides I couldn't decide either to buy mesh machine or hardops first and this solved both of my problems in 10min. I love your tutorials, thanks for sharing

    HardOps/Box cutter; Mesh tools and Meshmachine are worth the bugs. Great tools and very well explained as usual. Keep going your videos always show me a lot of new stuff I did not know yet 😃

    Tye organic shapes video would be absolutely fantastic! I have some large character models that are organic that I want to make a bit modular and I'm stumped as to what the best way to do it would be.

    I have been liking your tutorials, but I am having trouble finding the face extract. I have the most up-to-date version of Hard Ops, but I seem unable to see it. Has it changed, or do I need to enable something in Hard Ops to get it to show up?

      @@MikeJMurdock It should automatically be there 🤔 Not sure why it wouldn't show up. Are you in Object mode and not edit mode?

      @@ArtisansofVaul I looked in both menus , however. I was unable to find the face extract. even on the hard ops sub menus

    Great tutorial. However I do wonder what has happened to the development of hOPs and BoxCutter this year. There used to be regular updates - but lately there’s been nothing.

      Are there lots of issues that need fixing? I can't say I've noticed lots but maybe I'm lucky. Or do you mean adding more functions?

      The developer, Master Xeon, used to update the addons fairly regularly. It just seems strange that there’s been such radio silence for months.

    The only caveat with HOpsCutter is that it's so powerful it takes another room in your brain to store the other hotkey binds, specifically for the modals, like ctrl + shift Sharpen to recalculate which for some reason took me more times than I thought my little brain needed to rehearse to finally get it.
    Idk if you have any of the free cutters mx2 made for Chipp's KitOps, but if you look at the modifier stack of his stuff he has an enormous unapplied list. Seeing that (as long as the bool method is on fast) made me much less concerned about having "too many" modifiers.
    HOps also works with Meshmachine so you can access Machin3 tools from HOps' interface. Stashing, mesh cleanup, boolean cleanup, his type of bevel and unbevel along with unfk'ing overlaps is cool to have. Even having the ability to change the width of a "bevel" to make a CAD type edge is pretty cool.

      I think the main thing with HOps is just knowing the function is there. It's one of the nice Add Ons where everything is pretty clearly labelled so you can generally find what you're after if you know it's there

      @@ArtisansofVaul I'm still surprised with what I find is there and I didn't know about in HOps and I've been using it for 2 years (!) Then again mx2 updates so often, he could be sticking stuff in there when I wasn't looking (!) Only in the last couple of months did he show me how to update HOps without having to redo all my config settings... that was a major relief...
      Just unzip his updated version of his addon and delete the one already installed. Replace with the new one in the scripts folder. All settings stay the same. (yay)

    How do you get those transparent option menus, such as the one that show at 2:58, and at the top say "Global (Shift H)" Also, H is the "hide" key so that is also something I can't figure out.

      It only comes up once you have started using a HardOps function.
