  • It's all in the details as I fully explain how to get the best views on a Delta A321 from LaGuardia Airport in New York City to Miami Airport in Florida. With marvelous views in both cities, it was a joyous flight from the start to en route to the end! I'll even take you around part of Miami and how you how it's a wonderful aviation city!

Great video. I was just in Miami in early March and took an American 777 out of JFK which you pointed out in the video. I stayed in Brickell Key which was right across the water from the Aston Martin building you filmed at end. Nothing like flying down to Miami when it’s winter time in NYC. They really built up the Brickell area big time and many more skyscrapers are scheduled to be built in that area including Downtown. Enjoy your cruise!

Nice job Peter. You have an uncommon comprehension of the 3D complexities of the airspace around busy terminals. It's time as well as space- depending on conditions ARTCC (center) may tell departure that they need 5 miles in trail, and on other days 10 miles or so. Departure can't hand off a flight until he/she has the required separation. It's a challenging job and they do it well.

Thank you--fantastic flight!! I'm most always looking up at airplanes, too, and checking Flightradar24! 😀😍 This coming weekend I'm flying (hopefully, no flight cancelations!) to LAX on Alaska Airlines...to do, guess what? Plane spotting from a couple famous places around LAX, a park by an In-N-Out Burger, plus another park overlooking the airport from the other side. I can hardly wait, plus the aircraft I'll be flying on will be a surprise. Recently, the flight I'll be taking from Sea-Tac to LAX has been operated by an Airbus A321, according to "FlightAware," but who knows which plane will fly the flight on Saturday. I've found out that the type of aircraft Alaska shows on your booking is often changed, even on the day OF your flight. So...Airbus or Boeing...is the question.... 🤣

Welcome to my home! Peter. LGA-MIA was my monthly or more often milk run for many years. I actually miss the internal features of the B757 and Maddog-80 on that route. I’m glad you enjoyed your arrival ad plane spotting. As a seasoned veteran of Miami aviation, I far prefer Miami on westbound arrival/departure. On runway 26/27 arrivals the view of Miami Beach is fantastic on left or right. The premier experience, available only by luck, is to approach on runway 30. On that approach, south beach passes on your right as you descend through 2500’ and you overfly the hotel where you were staying at 1600’. Many downtown buildings were altered in order to make minimum clearance from ILS rwy 30 as specified in the TERPS. Spectacular for plane watching!! ILS rwy 26L arrivals pass over the Miami Beach bike path cleared down to1600 enroute to AGLER.

Aaay, I caught you over on The B1M taking about LGAs renovations. I wonder how they knew to come to you, lol. Hell of a vid, man. Those aerial views were a trip down memory lane again. 9:14, my old college, improved since I graduated, 14:51 Intrepid Museum where I was a volunteer fora few years, been up & down I-95/Jersey Turnpike a few hundred times... 28:24 I was on one of those heavy jets back in January, a Lufthansa 748 from Frankfurt.
