Delta Is DESTROYING Every Other Airline. Here’s How

  • From Delta receiving several awards to adding unbelievable features to their planes, here’s how Delta is destroying every other airline.
    And to start with, Delta topped the charts as the most on-time airline in 2022. Unlike most airlines that constantly get delayed, Delta recorded an 84.1% on-time arrival, making punctuality a priority.
    Now that’s Impressive!
    But this wasn’t only what the airline did right. Cuz Delta also rewarded some enticing upgrades to its customers, which simply put, are just beautiful!

    I took a long haul to the Philippines. During the return layover in Korea, the pilot noticed a problem with the mechanics. They worked on getting it fixed, but ended up canceling the flight. We were one of the last flights out of the night. They worked on getting us a hotel stay in Korea, handed us a type-written sheet apologizing by the time we de-planed. The next morning when they got a new plane, we were given free breakfast, terminal food vouchers before boarding, and had a snack cart waiting in the gate area, another letter of apology. and doubled my trip miles before I even landed in Atlanta. I'm sticking with them.

      Yeah, I had a similar experience--not as drastic, but some problems on my journey. And, like you, Delta had resolved everything and awarded bonus miles before I even landed. They are a class act all the way. On the rare occasion I need to fly with a different airline, I absolutely dread it.

    Due to mechanical issues on one side and them pushing my connecting aircraft back from the gate early on the other side, Delta caused me to miss my connection. However, they did make it right by booking me on a flight out the next day in the same class (I was flying first on that trip) and paid my hotel and meals while I was stuck in my connection city. Overall I think they are a good airline.

    Well, I like Delta but, one thing that really pisses me off about them is that I can’t even access their lounges at all without signing up for their credit card, even if I fly on a short haul international flight now. It really doesn’t help that they devalued their miles so much too. Both of those reasons are why I prefer to avoid Delta at all costs now. Personally I’d prefer to give my loyalty status to Delta because I do live right in a Delta hub (MSP) but, now since I get less than what I’m paying for with them, I won’t fly them. I go take my business elsewhere to Alaska (which has a superior domestic product and loyalty program), American (I have platinum status with them) or United (matching my status with them from American and have a buddy pass for right now).

      @steventravels4035 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@AvaCarter-xm4ov well, right now, I’m loyal to American but, tbh my favorite one is between Southwest and Alaska actually. Southwest Airlines’ loyalty program basically acts like a cash back program while I have seen you can get really good award redemptions for tickets on Alaska on any OneWorld partner of Alaska. Due to my loyalty with American, I get the same loyalty benefits on Alaska as I do on American. I would definitely fly both of them a bit more but, they are a bit more expensive to fly on out of here. Plus, Alaska shifts from having 1 to 2 flights a day going to Seattle with a seasonal option to Portland and Anchorage, so due to that, I don’t fly them often out of here, I always have to connect in either DFW, ORD or PHX to fly Alaska.

      On the other hand, the international service is on par with that on some european carriers such as KL and BA. In DL economy you get a small amenity kit containing eye shades and ear plugs, and a table cloth. I think the latter adds a touch of class. And the meals are just fine.

Search engines show a price for a flight and transfer you over to Delta to book it. Delta takes all your information including your credit card and then says the flight is sold out you can go to Delta site directly and book the exact same flight and seats for much higher cost I would call that bait and switch. • @ErikKruse1
      @ErikKruse1 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@EB-sh2jr Both of those points are incorrect. Delta flight attendants are paid more than quite a few unionized airlines' flight attendants. This is public information, so I'd advise you check the latest pay scales for major US carriers. Also, duty days vary by airline and no airline is permitted to make their employees work under "awful working conditions". I interact with Delta flight attendants every week and I have yet to meet any who express they are treated poorly. If this were so, they would have higher turnover rates than all other airlines. They do not. In fact, many flight attendants from unionized airlines have left to take jobs as Delta flight attendants. I personally know of several. Your assertions are simply talking points from unions, which are themselves businesses who come with their own set of pluses and minuses for workers who are required to pay into them as a condition of their employment.
