    Hold shift when you're drawing a line on ImageJ. It will only make the line horizontal or vertical, no faffing about with angles

    The area result is 87.890 for first leaf. What does it mean? Is it mean the area of first leaf is 87.890 cm^3 and what are the meanings of "mean" "min" "max"? What do they show? Can you explain. Thanks.

    • @n89n-na1sh9wa8n
      @n89n-na1sh9wa8n  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It means it's in square centimeters.
      Mean = sum. of all leaves on the number of leaves (10).
      Min = is the minimum area of the leaves. And which one has the lowest No.
      Max = is the maximum area of the leaves. Which one has the largest No.

    Thanks for this useful video. I follow it to measure leaves size but some of them give me NAN so the mean becomes NAN, do you have any idea why ?

      I think the background should be white and put the leaves on it and give them enough space between each leaf.

      Can you please tell how to measure the area of a subsection of an image ? e.g if we want to count cells from certain area in an image and want to determine that

      I think this pro. can not count cell number, but u should use Microscopic for cell counts
