  • The plaintiff was nine moths sober when she started dating the defendant, and she believed he was the man of her dreams. However, after they got engaged, the plaintiff says the defendant became controlling and enabled her relapse, so she’s suing for emotional distress. The defendant insists he tried to help the plaintiff stay sober, and he’s countersuing for car damages and emotional distress.

As a former addict (6 years clean now 🙌🏽) I knew she was lying when she opened her mouth. She loves to play victim and blame everyone but herself. NOBODY can make you relapse, you relapse on your own. If someone tries to hand me a pill, I walk away!! I don't even have to say no I just remove myself from that situation and she had the opportunity to do so as well!! Only a person who has already relapsed or is still having cravings will put themselves in a situation to relapse. I hope she gets the help she needs and takes accountability for her wrong doings.

Women these days ain't got no business waiting on no man to buy them a house , a car, clothes, a business..etc. This is not the 1940's and 50's where women couldn't do certain things unless a man was helping her. Opportunity is everywhere. Buy yo own shyyt. Brothers leave these trychs alone.

God bless you and your child with all of His blessings throughout your lives. Never give up hope as a mother. I'm praying for you.
Secondly, the "father out there somewhere finding himself" 🙄 obviously doesn't have the courage nor the strength that you have to help you raise your baby. Maybe someday he will realize the woes of his ways. Possibly not. In the event that he doesn't, you will have to remain strong and have the conviction to lead your child to become jyst as strong and as courageous and as hopeful as you. Y'all shall overcome - I just know it. (I speak from experience. My first husband left me alone when our child was only 14 months old. I’m so glad Judge Mathis got onto her ass bc she needs a reality check .. she still isn’t ready bc she wasn’t even accepting what he was saying.. she started saying things she thought he wanted to hear. I do believe the defendant is a good guy and really loved her.

How is she suppose to be better if it's never her fault? She's just coasting from one no drug period to the other. It's always going to be someone else's fault.

I truly pray for God to healed her from addiction.Because if she don't deal with her unresolved issues. The results won't be good.
