- The plaintiff met the defendant in high school. Years later, they reconnected and started dating. The plaintiff says it wasn’t long before the defendant cheated and gave her a sexually transmitted disease. The plaintiff claims she gave the defendant money to pay for a car and clothes, but he hasn’t paid her back, so she’s suing. The defendant insists there’s no proof he gave the plaintiff a sexually transmitted disease, and he’s countersuing for harassment and emotional distress.
She seems like a caring person. I hate he did her like this, but glad things came out in her favor

I’ve watched JM since season 2 (2000). I would leave the vcr recording while I was in school, that was before the DVR. Not to downplay STDs, but Chlamydia can be cured in a week with a shot and/or some pills. It's not one of the viral STDs that you have to live with for life. So, I'm sure she'd been treated and cured by the time they went on the Mathis show.
