Desperate for Help

  • The plaintiff says she’s been addicted to crack cocaine for over 20 years, and she’s desperate to get her life on track. The plaintiff loaned her brother money, but he allegedly failed to pay her back, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant insists the plaintiff needs help, and he claims he has given the plaintiff money more times than he can count.

One thing about JM, he's going to shame you before he helps you. To be fair, sweet talking and coddling them probably has not helped them, especially when they've been addicted for long periods of time. I feel like they know what they're signing up for but damn. I really hope the post-show assistance is worth the humiliation.

That comment is totally emotion led and that’s good we as humans have that sensory ❤. But until you (we) have the correct response towards people who have addiction it look’s outwardly that the Judge is showing no compassion towards her. 1st hand experience not an expert my addicted loved ones that whom are not ready to commit to the change are willing to say any and everything to Gloss it up to get THEIR OWN need meet. In her case $150 come on now make it make sense. She could have started out by saying I’ve been addicted to crack for 30 yrs and hurt my loved ones and with my struggles I faced with smoking crack I couldn’t be a productive and so on and so forth. Trust me they know what they be doing and I do pray that one day she’ll commit wholeheartedly but that’s the choice she really has to have in her heart❤. But to say the Judge is unfair isn’t cool you do know he hears that same story ova and ova again

Judge Mathis just needs to shut up sometimes!!! His knowledge can definitely be a blessing. His knowledge cannot be disputed!! At the same time,it can be a curse and hindrance if he always feels he knows everything about all addicts.!! People can change their minds. Ok,this lady was home CLEAN for 12 years and didn't get her GED. Doesn't mean that she didn't get TIRED and change her mind. AND.. She seemed very open to discuss her life. She wasn't combative etc. Although she seemed confused at moments. I wish her healing and the absolute best. Shut up Greg!!🤣
