I think the most important thing I discovered is that people are so concerned (rightfully) about their own lives, thoughts and everything going on in their world, that you are barely perceptible to them. You might think a glance is loaded with judgement and scorn, but in reality they're just looking at you like they look at anything else around them. In the nicest way possible, nobody cares about us when we're out and about! I found this to be quite a freeing discovery.
I can totally agree that supressing yourself and your lifestyle for others is just not worth it. Life is too short to waste time not working toward the things you're passionate about or the things you enjoy. On another note: I don't know if it's the lighting or what, but your hair color is extra gorgeous in this video!
I also work part time while pursuing things that bring me joy and fulfillment. What strangers think of me matters much less than what my family thinks of me. Ive gotten into arguments standing up for myself. It doesnt feel worth the trouble of defending myself anymore, but not saying anything starts to let it eat away at me. Im practicing being honest while learning to let some things go.
Since other people typically aren't informing you of their opinions of you all the time, it's important to remember that a lot of the judgments you fear are actually just your speculation about what other people think of you. No one is a mind reader, so there's no guarantee that the standards you're trying to satisfy are even being applied to you. Don't let guesswork run your life!
its hard sometimes, but i am trying, the hardest for me is showing love, fearing being laughted at or mocked by others, always makes me caughtious of how much i am showing sadly.
It's absolutely fine to only work part time and to follow your passions.... as long as you're not living off government assistance such as benefits and / or relying on charity or help from parents.... if any of these things apply then you have an obligation to stop leeching off society and off tax payers. Also, don't complain in the future, when your friends and peers have houses, cars, world trips etc, and you're living in a rented flat.... and don't take social housing from people were genuinely unable to work because of sickness or injury. As long as you're sustaining yourself entirely and don't criticise the "capitalists" who have investments because of their hard work and shrewd investments, then all power to you..... but in my experience, the vast majority of people would like to work part time and follow passions but most cannot afford it, and those who do are often bludgers.... and a great many complain about those who accumulate because of their hard work and skillful investments. Therefore I say that if you can manage your lifestyle, supporting yourself fully independently, WELL DONE! ... if not, get a job and stop being a leech.

Thank you for the new video, Anna! Yes, it's truly a great art to master to be able not to worry what others think about you.
