thank you Stewart glad you liked it, I always thought i could have done something a little better with the legs but over all i was very pleased with it
I'm inclined to agree. I love the face, but I'm gonna try carving the legs into the body with a Dremel rather than sand the round flat and externally attach them. Thanks for sharing your idea! Keep up the good work!
@@thehampshirewoodturner well I wish I could showcase my attempt, but when I turned my poplar piece down, it had this beautiful pink undertone that I simply couldn't bring myself to modify. I left it and am calling it a chest patch haha. I'll try again another day. But on that note, I got some leather off-cut and strands of a dark brown hue from a fabric store, and used it for the ears and tail respectively. Really accented it nicely 😅
Wonderful again Steve, just a thought, it you put one ear higher than the other (so it points more outwards) it may add a bit of extra personality to the face. It may not work but worth a try.
Love this wee fella, well done.
Cheers Gary glad you liked it

Good idea Mike i will try that next time I make one. I was thinking about just letting the head si t in a socket on the neck so the head could move.
