Dear Brandon, my biggest struggle is reading the Bible or even wanting to read it. Your Channel and Passion has made me start to show interest, and want to at least dip my toe in. Bless you 🙏❤️
Hi Ritchie Valens😉 Good for you to start reading the Bible! The struggle is real, and afflicts all of us sometime. Thought I would share a few things that helped me when starting out and to continue. There's an old joke that asks "How do you eat an elephant?" Answer: "One bite at a time." It was good for me to look up or find certain things in the Bible and read them for myself. For example, the 10 Commandments. I used a concordance where you can look up any word or phrase in the Bible, and it tells you where that passage is. Some Bibles have a very small or condensed one in the back, you can get / lookup Young's, or Strong's analytic Concordance where you can even look up the word "the" and it lists EVERY TIME 😳 the word "the" appears in the Bible! Of course, nowadays you can Google things also. Then read the passage, note where it is ( what part-Old or New Testament, and which " book" of the Bible ( there are 66 of them), the chapter number and verse number. And there you have it-your first mini Bible study!👏👏👏 Sometimes I just want to know what verses there are about a topic- so I look up that English word ( let's say "ice") and read all the verses with the word "ice" in them. Sometimes there's just a few, sometimes MANY! But good to know that also. There are many, many, many translations of the Bible from the original languages into contemporary English. Some are good, some are downright heretical. I think any solid believers even YT channels can explain which is which. But for understanding, I went and got The Living Bible and would read it with the more complex translations. The Living Bible is a paraphrase of scripture, not a translation. A man back in the late 60s/early 70s took a King James Translation, and put it into modern, basic English to make it easier for his children to understand. Some people laugh at what comes out of it, but it really helped me. Here's 2 more things-when I was in college, a speaker named Elmer Lappen, asked us to make a promise to read the Bible 5 minutes per day. Doesn't seen like much but that 5, becomes 35 min.per week, that becomes 140min/month, 1680/year, 840 HOURS over 30 years. What's nice, is if you read certain parts again and again, they become like old friends. Many years ago I heard a suggestion to read 5 Psalms a day. That gets you through the entire book of Psalms every month, so at the end of the year they have been read ,12 times. I don't want to turn this into a legalistic, numbers game, just an illustration that even dipping one's toe into the pool, provides very real contact with our God and His story and precepts. Last thing- I have learned ALOT of the Bible from the hard knocks of life. When you are at the funeral of a beloved friend who also loved Christ, it's very comforting and strengthening to read the scriptures that assure He will not leave us in the grave. When there is an ethical dilemma, and to not do the right thing seems best, having that scripture " Do what is right" pop into your head because you have read it before and He makes it alive at the right moment, is when those verses become part of my very being. Someone once asked the elderly Corrie ten Boom what the secret was to her vibrant faith ( read her book "The Hiding Place". In her middle aged years, she was sent to a concentration camp for doing the right thing in a very dark world during WWII.) She leaned across the table and answered with a twinkle in her eye-"Trouble!" For me, that also has sent me to the scriptures to learn what's said there about life, and about Him. Thanks for your time!
Context, context, context. Brandon, I just want to tell you thanks for pushing this idea in a public forum. It’s almost like discovering the gospels all over again. Our context in no way corresponds with the time of Jesus, and that’s even before considering all the translations. I still believe one can get everything they need from the simple act of reading the word alone, but I want all I can get. And sure, a little of that is my human nature to desire a full understanding of what is important to me, but Jesus is the single thing I’ve encountered in this life that I can truly trust and believe in. Everything else was chasing mirages…
The cultural context of scripture is so important. I found a book several years ago called “Misreading Scripture Through Western Eyes” that opened my eyes to my cultural blindness. Every culture leaves certain things unsaid because they are commonly understood, and scripture is no different. The problem is that when we come across something that scripture leaves unsaid, we automatically and unthinkingly insert our own cultural assumptions into the text. And we misread scripture when we do so.
I am so grateful God led me to your videos. I've been going to various Churches and Bible studies for years an yes, I've learned. But not like I'm learning now Thank you so much for your insights an amazing facts. Love to you and your family. GOD BLESS
This was a WONDERFUL teaching my brother Brandon!! It's so true that when you are with others you get some beautiful revelations that you may not get alone! It was SO IMPORTANT to tell people (not to purchase books with basically an agenda geared to something else)!! We have to be so very careful that it doesn't bump the Word in any way or it's time to throw it out. But you did give great references that I personally know that are so helpful without misleading Scripture! Thank you so much for this video, giving truth (whether we like it not) that GOD HAS TO BE 1ST IN OUR LIVES! I often feel convinced when I don't do this as I should. After ALL He did for us, and Glory to God adopting us in HE absolutely deserves to be first!! God Bless you and yours brother one again 🙏 ❤️
I am glad that I have learned a lot more in my days in church than many have and also many who where in the same place didn’t seem to absorb as much as they should have for what Ever reason. It has been not as DEEP as you are teaching but good for more than most of my life as Christian since 1968. I’m 71 now and there is always more to learn. Thanks for your teaching. It draws me for more knowledge.
I watched this again and realized, you also came so close to another important element of this study - the “new testament” is the PERSONALIZATION of the relationship with Him (as Yeshua), while the “old testament” demonstrates YHVH’s relationship with His people as an assembly. This isn’t to minimize the importance of assembly, but explains how God deals with His people now. I love your videos Brandon, great job!
Thank you for pointing out that we should study together. I've never thought or heard of that but it makes sense. This can bring people together to grow in their communities encouraging others to do the same. This really speaks to me today. God bless you and your ministry. 🙏
God is using you in amazing ways! You have given me so much more insight into the meanings beyond the words in the way my previous pastor did by having studied Greek and Hebrew etc. The very last point you approached was about studying His word with others. Wham! I have been reading the word and worshipping alone for way too long. Having gone through a series of trying to find a church home that was right for me and not being able to find one (discerning that the pastors became more man serving (the elders and deacons) than God serving). I became jaded against organized religion. God has put me on my sweet sister in Christ’s heart to urge me to come to the church that I loved many years ago before I moved away. I have since moved back. I didn’t seek out this church for several reasons. She wants me to see how much this place, new leadership, and congregation has changed since then. Your teaching in this session was the swat upside my head that I needed. Thank you and God Bless you for this. ❤
Some also say that it is necessary to pray before reading the bible. This opens us to receive the holy spirit to help guide us to take in understanding.
I like Blue Letter Bible and Bible Hub websites for Hebrew and Greek versions of the Bible. It would be nice to have a Tanakh and Septuagint interlinear OT so you can connect the Greek NT words to the OT Hebrew words. Even though the NT was written in Greek, the writers were of the Hebraic/OT mindset.
I listen to something about the Bible every day sometimes for several hours a day. Sometimes I feel I can’t learn enough about the Bible because some preachers interpret the Bible differently. ❤️😊🙏
I don't like saying this but the most lonely place I've been is at mass. The attitudes are far from Christian and when Covid hit the church was closed.
I tried to reach out to you thru Lynn Haven UMC but I did get the e newsletter. Then 2 days later, here's this video! It's a long story, but I have no one to study with and worst, I was under the impression that God didn't want me to be part of a group, (again, long story). That He wanted a "personal" relationship. Now I see that differently. Thank you
Love this video, brother Brandon! I know Abba is speaking through you to reach the masses for Yeshua and who He really was and IS and who is to come!! This not only impacts how to study the Bible, but also massively impacts how we ought to live! I see a glimpse of your heart and Yah’s heart through this. Blessings upon you and in your life, in the name, authority, and character of Yeshua the Messiah!
Blue Letter Bible has been my go place for many many years. They have added tons of things to their content since they first began on the internet in 1996. Far far more than what Brandon indicated.
What an eye opener ! Thank you Brandon. How AWESOME that the LORD used your words in this video to answer my PRAYER REQUEST 🙋👉🙏☝🙌💖MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU & YOUR Family for being used in this way & taking the Time that cannot be replaced yet technology is being used thru you posting these messages to increase our understanding to grow & apply & share in our lives to others. Truly you are occupying while waiting for HIS RETURN. Study to make thyself approved. Brandon you not only show your LOVE to your bro's & sister's & possibly to unbelievers who come across your video's but your obedience your CALLING is so fruitful !😍🙌💖
WoW!! So pleasantly shocked fot this teaching. Spirited and wondering. Thank you and God bless y'all, those involved and those watching 🙌✨💥 BTW so nice to see you meeting with Brandon and Vanessa (The Snipes) and Chris Durban, quite a good example of community.
Another thought on Shavout: God gave the freed Israelites a chance to hear directly from Him and after hearing the 10 commandments, they elected to go through a mediator - Moses (see Exodus 20). But after Pentecost, He is speaking directly to and through us by His Holy Spirit. This is why Peter quoted Joel 2 in Acts 2. Thank you for that insight on Shavout.
I am in total agreement with what you have presented. BUT, you have left out THE most important Bible study companion, a dictionary of the language that your translation of the Bible is written.
Thank you I really enjoy your videos and they always seem to be hitting on the things that I've been thinking about a lot lately like trying to understand scripture for instance. thank you again.
Similar to true financial wisdom I learned a long while ago -- Pay the Lord, Pay You, Pay everyone else. If you put the Lord first, everything else will work itself out.
❤ Logos. I purchased back in 2009 and just keep upgrading. They used to have a Bible college alumni discount. Not sure if that is still available, but it saved me 25% 👌🏼
Thank you, my brother for the message…if I may share few things came to my mind on some points you made. 1st. True, in the Spirit of Yeshu’a a follower is better equipped in spirit, physically to accomplish a mission. However, I know from my personal experience, and other people like me there times the Spirit will Set-set-apart certain people for a solo mission. Like he does with prophets or apostles type of thing. I do not view that Yeshu’a only works with pairs but he will work with anyone whom he chooses for different missions to accomplish his Father’s will on this earth and a church may not always be in a loop like with missionary works. 2. It’s true it helps to know Hebrew, Greek history to better understand the world of scripture and when it was written. But, I know for me, I did not grow up under any of those teachings so I had to fully rely on the Spirit to teach me. It’s good to attend fellowship, hear different view points of how scripture taught, but at the end of the day, I learned YOU must SEEK the Spirit of truth and asking him to reveal knowledge of his word and not merely depends on the man’s ideas what something is or means. Because I have found there are many ”Teachers” in church whom I met full of knowledge yet they are divided outside of the topics of gospel which creates even greater division within the church. And I had not spoken to any teacher in the body of Christ who will admit they were wrong on this topic or that topic because of pride and culture to believe a certain way. As for me, I seek to learn beyond man’s word what does Holy Spirit say about this topic vs merely relying on man’s word. Instead, man of God should able to confirm what Spirit of truth teaches a follower; instead, of the other way around. That is how I am taught by the Spirit of truth. I once asked my brother in faith, Why are so many Christians recommended to study “commentators“ ? Because, I tried it but it confused me more then it helped me understand. And his basic answer was: Commentators were people who write what they had learned from the Spirit and what it means to them. So, basically it’s mostly Opinion views like on Television. For this reason, I had to be very-very on guard when I listen to Teachers in church on certain topics and let the Spirit of truth guide me His truth and filter opinions or falls Teachings of man. 3. Last point, For me, I must seek my fellowship with Yeshu’a first before fellowship with other people; Even if I must rise extra early! But regardless, what time of Day it happens Yeshu’a knows thee heart of his child. Furthermore, its True it’s good to fellowship with other followers if a person is able in their season. Like for me, I take care of an elderly 94-year-old man 24/7 and we only have one windowed 75-year-old woman who comes to our house to fellowship (surely once a week or when she can) other then that no one from our old church does such a thing, they have died in spirit, their love. So, I do not rely on “Church” to make sure Yeshu’a listens to me. I do not chase a church for fellowship, I chase Yeshu’a alone. At times, Yeshu’a brings his people into a place what I call, “spiritual desert” for rest, healing from a battle field journey. And when a person in such a place, Yeshu’a will send a person if not few extra messengers to comfort, fellowship with…like with Elijah type moment.
Thank you for your knowledge you’ve shared!! Coincidentally I have accrossed this blue letter bible and thank you for confirming it cuz this the website I am using for our couple’s bible study and preaching! I love it and it assist me widened my views about the spoken word of God!!!! Glory to God!!!! 🙏🏻❤️☝️
Thankyou for emphasizing 1 John 2.24-27. This gives hope to most believers who will not use a concordance, lexicon, or Greek or Hebrew translation in their language. The necessary understanding of most needed information is in the Scripture itself, with a good translation, of course.
Have you written a devotional? I would love to see it! And if not, you should. 👍👍 I learn so much from you, I enjoy what you share, and it impacts me, and has made a difference for me in how I relate to Jesus, and the Bible.
Brandon thank you for your explanation. I totally agree with small group, and the interaction we have with other's insights. We have wonderful small group setting in our church. We connect very well, in church and outside. Also at the same time, God has revealed many things to me through the Bible, as I use parallel bible too. But I need to focus more on God in my daily walk, and set more time with Him. I continuesly communicate with Him throughout the day. This has made me rely on Him more and more. I'm so thankful that Jesus helps me in my job many times. I will put every effort to make more time in the personal study time. Your videos help me a lot. Again thank you for this uplifting video.
I am new to reading the Bible. I find myself reading each book to the fullest. These come out as history stories of what took place. How are you getting messages from the bible? Do you take what happens to them and put it in real life applications? How do you truly believe in God? I try to but it's like anticipating waiting to meet a long lost family member. Someone I do not know but can't wait to meet them. Is this wrong?
Hi, Felix. When I read the Bible, I'm generally asking three questions: What is the scripture saying about what happened? What does this mean (what is the message scripture is trying to communicate)? And, understanding this, what does that mean for my life. As Christians, we believe that the Holy Spirit is the one who reveals to us the truth of scripture. God give us the free will to decide how we will respond to that truth.
Thank you Brandon. Your videos are so clear and has given me that wow moment. You make sense. I really appreciate God pointing me in your direction because for years I have been searching for clarity. God bless you.
I honestly thought the one thing you can't read the Bible without was going to be to pray for the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit. "Open my eyes that I might behold wonderous things from thy word." Psalm 119:18
I thank God your videos “showed up” and that ai clicked on! Awesome, truthful teachings! For me, I think the biggest problem I have in staying focused is distractions! Am praying for help in dealing with this so I can spend more time devoted to prayer and studying scripture. I do love my Interlinear Bible!
I am using the Tyndale life application Bible and it has been extremely useful. It has historical information, interesting biographies, explanations on nearly every verse and then ways you can apply the learning to your life. I don't see anything wrong with using it. This life study Bible has changed my life.
Great lesson with some very helpful tips. You are absolutely correct about "time". I did not "have the time" to study the way I do now until I retired. Fortunately, it is never to late to start. Two other great resources I have found are Dr. David Stern's and his . Dr. Stern's work was not intended solely for Believers of Jewish descent . . . but equally (if not more so) for us Gentile Believers. Dr. Stern does what you do in your video's: He puts God's Words into the Hebrew context that they were written in. His Commentary of the New Testament is just what it sounds like. For me, the introduction to his Bible was as valuable as the articles and footnotes found throughout the rest of the Bible. Thank you, Brandon for taking the time to do these videos. Above and beyond your ministry and your family, your work, dedication and time in doing these videos are greatly appreciated. Berachot.
A lot of the pastors I watch like Voddie Baucham and Ray Comfort kinda just give me a fish whereas you teach me to fish like Dr Michael Heiser does. Thank you sir and praise God.
I wish every believer could see this video. Great job Brandon. Years ago when the Lord was calling me to teach the Word, I was studying and saw another believer who appeared to be studying the Word too. So I went over to where he was seated and looked over his shoulder to see where he was reading from. The only word I could make out looked like" John." I asked him what language that passage was in and he said koine Greek the original language that the Bible was written in. That caught my interest. Later I saw another friend that had a hard back book that read Strongs Exhaustive Concordance. I asked if I could borrow it overnight and he said yes. When I tried to give it back to him he said he didn' t want it and insisted that I keep it so I did. Shortly after that I saw another Christian friend I saw carrying a hard back book and I saw it was the Hebrew, Greek, and English Interlinear. I asked him if I could check it out overnight and he said yes. The next day I tried to give it back to him and again he insisted I keep it so I did. I've found many times when things happen that look like coincidences they are really God at work in your behalf. Thanks again and how about more videos of key koine Greek words and their definitions ?
Hey, Robert. That's awesome! What great resources! Have you seen this video I created about words that will change the way you read the Bible? th-cam.com/video/SFuHThWu6jk/w-d-xo.html
I've got a great small group that I'm deeply grateful for; though one thing I've experienced far too often, especially among guys is where it becomes a competition / (p'ing contest) to have 'the right' interpretation as well as the last word vs an actual sharing or learning or questioning. it has so often become about dominance and proving a one right view instead of even leaving questions unanswered or having a few answers. Honestly, it makes me cringe and makes me to prefer reading/praying alone, after a few decades of various experiences. Hopefully that'll be a component addressed in future encouragements or finding a 'right' group of very fallible humans to discover & discuss the Word..
"Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.. " 🙂. I wish it could be that easy. By the way, that was in Mathew 10:16.
Pastor what's the role of mother Mary for Christian, thousands of Christians and Muslim claim she appeared in Egypt in 1976... and there were miracles, even the Egyptian president Naser he gave testimony on TV, and declared peace with Christians in Egypt
Most common reasons of misinterpreting scripture. 1. History languages 2. Static appropriation 3. Genre confusion. 4 Understanding Historical Arc. The 1st century person believed your life force or compassion/heart came from your Splagchna in the Greek or in English terms bowels because that’s where life/babies came from. They would say I love you with all my Splagchna/heart. They thought very differently than we do in western culture. We say I feel it in my gut. In this we are to show compassion to people. The 10 commandments was actually a marriage contract call a ketubah. It’s the 4th step of the 5 stages of a Hebrew courtship. Learning the Hebrew courtship was interesting. Before marriage the groom would leave and go to his fathers house to prepare a room for him and his bride and the bride would wait for a period of time not knowing when the groom would return. Jesus was drawing an analogy from his promise to Jewish marriage customs so they could understand. I’m just giving some historical examples of those times there’s many other stories such as the pool of Bethesda without knowing the real history of what happened people will take the passage of a literal angel stirring the water and that’s not the real story at all. We have the advantage today to learn from historical languages and events and should use them. The Bible is full of stories we don’t fully understand because of language and history.
What’s your view on catholics. I joined a community of them in university and they seem kind and loving. I didn’t mention about Hebrew things like Shavuot and Pentecost yet though
I just found this video yet it was the right time in my life. I thank you for such great info. God is so good and yet again He proves that His timing is perfect. May God bless you and the work you are doing to further His kingdom.
The most important thing is to honor Shabbat (Saturday) that is God’s laws that is in the book Leviticus and even Jesus him said that he did not to abolish the law but to fulfill it because he himself abide by the laws
Just as the spirit was given out on Pentecost so too will the same spirit be given out when planet Wormwood arrives (possibly in the spring of 2026?). And we know this because the same thunder/lightening/rumblings will be present during this time. The only question is, will YOU be called to go to Judea (Joel 2:32) TWO or THREE years before the end comes??

Hi Ritchie Valens😉
Good for you to start reading the Bible!
She leaned across the table and answered with a twinkle in her eye-"Trouble!" For me, that also has sent me to the scriptures to learn what's said there about life, and about Him.
Thanks for your time!
@@ms7953 Thankyou for your response
I really appreciate it 🙏❤️
Context, context, context.
That's a great book.
#1. Absolutely necessary. And learning a little Hebrew and Greek changes everything.
I am so grateful God led me to your videos. I've been going to various Churches and Bible studies for years an yes, I've learned. But not like I'm learning now
Thank you so much for your insights an amazing facts.
I am glad that I have learned a lot more in my days in church than many have and also many who where in the same place didn’t seem to absorb as much as they should have for what
Ever reason. It has been not as DEEP as you are teaching but good for more than most of my life as Christian since 1968. I’m 71 now and there is always more to learn. Thanks for your teaching. It draws me for more knowledge.
I prefer the "Strong's Concordance" AP, but that's because I'm more used to it.
I absolutely LOVE Lois Tverberg!!! I have ALL of her books! They changed my life too!
This is so powerful and important. This video needs to go viral.
Thank you for pointing out that we should study together. I've never thought or heard of that but it makes sense. This can bring people together to grow in their communities encouraging others to do the same. This really speaks to me today. God bless you and your ministry. 🙏
have you ever found a group, of individuals, out of the formal setting willing to study......if so let me know.....
Looking forward to watching this one - as always! ❤️
Strongs Concordance
Some also say that it is necessary to pray before reading the bible. This opens us to receive the holy spirit to help guide us to take in understanding.
I like Blue Letter Bible and Bible Hub websites for Hebrew and Greek versions of the Bible. It would be nice to have a Tanakh and Septuagint interlinear OT so you can connect the Greek NT words to the OT Hebrew words. Even though the NT was written in Greek, the writers were of the Hebraic/OT mindset.
I’m going to get this book. Thank you. You are such a unique teacher among the hundreds of others. 🙏🏼
Without fail, you always say things that make me deeply uncomfortable but that I need to hear. 😂 Keep up the great work!
Haha. I’m glad it’s a good thing.
Thank you
Hey, Nicole. I’m so glad the video helped.
I’m sorry you couldn’t reach me. The best way to get in touch with me is brandon@brandonrobbinsministry.com
E-Sword is also brilliant here too... That is my go to
Thanks for bringing awareness to BlueLetterBible and Logos. As you mentioned, it brought a new dimension of understanding when reading the Bible.
Thank you Brandon for this message. There are definitely folks out there who would like to have a Connect Group to study and share this journey with
Blue Letter Bible has been my go place for many many years.
Yes, you right Rev. Brandon it makes all the difference when you read the Bible from its original context
WoW!! So pleasantly shocked fot this teaching. Spirited and wondering. Thank you and God bless y'all, those involved and those watching 🙌✨💥 BTW so nice to see you meeting with Brandon and Vanessa (The Snipes) and Chris Durban, quite a good example of community.
Thanks! It's truly been a blessing to connect with them through TH-cam.
Thank you for your words!! I do love hearing the word of God and will try to read with someone. Blessed day!
I am in total agreement with what you have presented. BUT, you have left out THE most important Bible study companion, a dictionary of the language that your translation of the Bible is written.
In bed already after an difficult day. But tomorrow, i will dust off my interlinear bibles and gonna dive right in. This sounds exciting. Thank you
I pray that God gives you an easier day tomorrow.
Lois Tverburg books are great for learning background so the Bible makes more sense.
Love Logos! (I have also found that The Chosen has helped with cultural context~ especially when you and Grafted do commentaries)
The Chosen...is not Biblical..I always thought it was a good idea...find videos exposing this series
Thank you I really enjoy your videos and they always seem to be hitting on the things that I've been thinking about a lot lately like trying to understand scripture for instance. thank you again.
Thank you Brandon, a lot to think about! I must look over the quality and quantity of my time with my God!😊
Similar to true financial wisdom I learned a long while ago -- Pay the Lord, Pay You, Pay everyone else. If you put the Lord first, everything else will work itself out.
Holy Spirit discernment 😊 Hi Brandon! Thank you for all you do!
Michael Heiser says the same thing I’ve learn so much and my understanding of the word of God is much more than what the churches are teaching
❤ Logos. I purchased back in 2009 and just keep upgrading. They used to have a Bible college alumni discount. Not sure if that is still available, but it saved me 25% 👌🏼
Amen Great video. Learned a lot.
Love this. Keep posting.
Thankyou for emphasizing 1 John 2.24-27. This gives hope to most believers who will not use a concordance, lexicon, or Greek or Hebrew translation in their language. The necessary understanding of most needed information is in the Scripture itself, with a good translation, of course.
Looking forward to 3:00 lesson, thank you Brandon Robbins!
100%! Breaking the bread together!
Thank you so much Brandon. You are a true disciple!
That is why I start every morning with devotions.
You rock bro
Thank you Brandon. Your videos are so clear and has given me that wow moment. You make sense. I really appreciate God pointing me in your direction because for years I have been searching for clarity. God bless you.
That was excellent 👍. Lots of truth in what you presented.
I honestly thought the one thing you can't read the Bible without was going to be to pray for the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit. "Open my eyes that I might behold wonderous things from thy word." Psalm 119:18
By far, the best message I've heard from you. I don't always agree with you, but on all four points, you were 1000% correct. Thank you.
Loved the "clear calendar" item!
Berachot.
Thank you so much, Carl!
Good afternoon from Louisiana
Just got the book Sitting at the feet of the Rabbi - I agree it is a "must have"
the most amazing thing is we know the bible was written thousands of years ago.
yet it still relevant to all of our generations and times
A lot of the pastors I watch like Voddie Baucham and Ray Comfort kinda just give me a fish whereas you teach me to fish like Dr Michael Heiser does. Thank you sir and praise God.
I wish every believer could see this video. Great job Brandon.
Years ago when the Lord was calling me to teach the Word, I was studying and saw another believer who appeared to be studying the Word too. So I went over to where he was seated and looked over his shoulder to see where he was reading from. The only word I could make out looked like" John."
I asked him what language that passage was in and he said koine Greek the original language that the Bible was written in.
@@BrandonRobbinsMinistry Thanks Brandon I'll check that video you suggested out
I've got a great small group that I'm deeply grateful for; though one thing I've experienced far too often, especially among guys is where it becomes a competition / (p'ing contest) to have 'the right' interpretation as well as the last word vs an actual sharing or learning or questioning. it has so often become about dominance and proving a one right view instead of even leaving questions unanswered or having a few answers. Honestly, it makes me cringe and makes me to prefer reading/praying alone, after a few decades of various experiences.
Hopefully that'll be a component addressed in future encouragements or finding a 'right' group of very fallible humans to discover & discuss the Word..
Thanks for these encouraging messages Remember the importance of prayer as well, seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we study the Bible.
"Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.. " 🙂. I wish it could be that easy. By the way, that was in Mathew 10:16.
Thanks very much, dear brother! That was really helpful!
May you all stay blessed! Kind greetings from Switzerland
I can't read it without glasses 🤓. Having the Holy Spirit guiding you and giving you understanding and discernment is another must have🤔
Thanks Brandon this was so good, very interesting. I will definitely start checking this out. God bless you.
Pastor what's the role of mother Mary for Christian, thousands of Christians and Muslim claim she appeared in Egypt in 1976... and there were miracles, even the Egyptian president Naser he gave testimony on TV, and declared peace with Christians in Egypt
Again outstanding and what I have done and still do for over 40 years
As for finding time, God said 6 days you will work and on the 7th days rest in me. That means to spend the 7th day in study and learning of Him.
It needs to be every day and throughout the day. We need His daily bread for us daily.
Pastor Brandon please send some of your sermons to Catholics.
What’s your view on catholics. I joined a community of them in university and they seem kind and loving. I didn’t mention about Hebrew things like Shavuot and Pentecost yet though
I know after watching your videos. I see Della reading and taking notes
Thank you, ordering the Interlinear Bible tonight
thank you
thank you
thank you
may the LORD be with you
I just found this video yet it was the right time in my life. I thank you for such great info. God is so good and yet again He proves that His timing is perfect. May God bless you and the work you are doing to further His kingdom.
Not knowing how to read the Bible and why etc contributes to biblical illiteracy. Good video.
Thank you for explaining how to read the Bible.
E-sword is an amazing tool, also. Such a blessing.
The most important thing is to honor Shabbat (Saturday) that is God’s laws that is in the book Leviticus and even Jesus him said that he did not to abolish the law but to fulfill it because he himself abide by the laws
Thank you Brandon your Bible study videos help me understand everything so much better thanks again praise the Lord!!!!
Me too. PTL!!!!!!
Thank you for this sharing. I have gotten a lot from Matthew Henry's Commentary.
Number 1, I FULLY agree with you!
God must be first always a joy.
