Even though it's got recycled images, it's done in such a way that the voice lines tell a better story about what the games about rather than the gameplay/cutscene elements. I like that over spoiling a plot point that some game trailers do.
Not gonna lie these lines sound corny when put together rapidly like that and the video editing for these is not up to par as compared to something like the Elden Ring trailers, for example. It's not a bad trailer but it's nothing amazing either.

Im happy to see something like this. Titanfall 2 is the only good mech game I know, and even then, it's popularity is dwindling. But a FROMSOFT game with mechs, this is a blessing.
WAIT at 1:00 is that a satellite turret on the shoulder?! I swear that electrowhip at 0:50 did some kind of grabstun and 1:06 clearly shows off a chainsaw arm. The showcase was so awesome and they really barely showed ANY of the parts we'll eventually get. This is gonna be so amazing, I'm even more hype than I was before now.
From Soft's art direction continues to be stellar. This game is so gorgeous! Can't wait to join my fellow Ravens on my first job! Gotta mention Handler Walter's voice too, just perfect, From doesn't really hire big names if memory serves, but SOMEHOW the people they pick are ALWAYS perfect in their roles!

I’m replaying all my ARMORED CORE games in preparation for this launch. To say that I’m excited for a new AC game after 10 years of waiting is an understatement.
"You don't know when to quit, *just like **_all the other Ravens . . ."_* This is kind of huge. Up until now, "Raven" was just a code name found on a single, dead pilot, an easter egg for the old games at best. Yet here she not only implies there were more Ravens, but that they were all tested by the enemy already. This is a pretty surprising revelation, because last I checked, this doesn't take place anywhere near the time of the Raven's Nest...
Might be a 4th gen sort of deal were Ravens wereade obsolete by NEXTs and lynxes but the protag of 4, Anatolia's merc was a Raven who recently became a Lynx after being rescued by Anatolia and Fiona

The best part of this trailer is it’s almost impossible to spoil the game. I cant make heads or tails of what the story is or what the hell is happening from the gameplay. All I know is that I need it now.

I played AC4 on the 360 as a kid, never wound up beating it, but always wanted to try again whenever I remembered the game. Excited to jump into AC for the first time since then.
I really think this game's going to blow away the expected numbers, just off of hype alone. This franchise is SO deserving of a revamp, and my goodness this looks AMAZING as their presented work! Great job guys, I already have my preorder in! haha
I first tried Elden Ring and got to Fire Giant. Gave up, came back, and loved it. Played almost every souls game and even finished Bloodborne and Sekiro. I wasn’t initially gonna buy this but after looking at some gameplay it looked fun so I bought it. If anyone is seeing this, BUY IT. the controls are a little hard to get used to but once you know what’s going on you will look and feel cool playing this. If you like fromsoft’s other titles, it won’t be the same (obviously), but there are a lot of little mechanics that will make you feel right at home. havent finished it yet but it’s really fun.
Been a fan of the Armored Core series since the first one was on a demo disc back in 1997! Got the Collector's Edition preordered and am beyond excited to finally see AC back after all these years!
I'm so unbelievably hyped for this. I'll admit that my first fromsoft experience was Demon's Souls, so I'm not quite as OG as some of the other AC fans, but after DS1, I decided to go back and play the AC games. I've been keeping up ever since. For a while I thought there would never be one again, but now we're here. I can't wait. This is the first game I've preordered in almost a decade.

I cannot believe Armored Core still exists. I'm probably showing my age here but I was around when Armored Core first came out on the first Playstation and it came as one of the demo disks to get you to buy the game. I was poor back then as a kid so I couldn't buy the whole game, and just played the demo all the time. Lol It's amazing to see that this game is still going in 2023. I'd play this game. Looks quite good.
My older brother and I did the same thing! We used to duke it out against each other in the arena making build after build trying to one up the others strategy. I cannot believe this game is coming out. HYPE
I played the demo on a borrowed demo disk and when I saw it on the shelf in one of the first game stores in my neighborhood, it was an instant buy. Bought it along with Mechwarrior 2 on the PS1.
I agree to this, first I finished Elden Ring on PC, thrice and then I bought a copy for my PS5 and platinumed it there too. From Software for me is the developer of the decade, if there is one game series I could only play for the rest of my life it would be From Software and Resident Evil games.
As someone who enjoys mecha games, and will be a new Raven pilot joining the ranks of all the veteran AC players, I am looking forward to playing my first Armore Core game in just a few day. Been meaning to get into the series but never got around to picking up any of the games, so I am excited to see the series return with Fires of Rubicon.
FromSoft went back to the beginning for this masterpiece, and as a lifelong fan of both AC and From, I can say I will rest happy in death knowing I was able to play this magnum opus. THANK YOU FROM
I'm very late posting this. But I want to help anyone thinking about getting into this. For those who don't know. Most Armored Core games, including 6, are about mega-corporations, so powerful, they have become like governments, and they are always at war, fighting with, spying on, and sabotaging each other, over control of territory, or some resource. An Armored Core, is a giant robot you pilot from the inside, a Mech. It gets it's name from the main piece, the chest piece known as the Core, that everything else attaches to, and where you sit. What makes an AC different from other prebuilt mass production mechs (Muscle Tracers), is that an Armored Core is almost completely customizable, with swappable parts, and you can build for certain situations, or build for a moving & fighting style that makes you happy. You play as an independent mercenary with their own AC. You do missions even messed up ones, to earn money to survive this crazy world, pay off your debts, and more importantly, buy more expensive parts to experiment with, or just have if you need them. As you start out as an independent mercenary, with your own cheap, basic AC, nearly no one really cares about you...but as you improve in skill, and perfecting your build, for you. These same corporations, that belittled you, start respecting you, then even begging you to side with them, then you become so god-like in ability, they try taking you out, because they see you as a threat. And you just keep surviving all of these traps, suicide-missions, ambushes, and assassination attempts, until you become a force of nature, a wildcard, an Irregular, that can save the world, or destroy it. That's Armored Core. Oh, I forgot to mention. You can build a lightweight and agile AC, that's like a racing machine, fragile, but able to outmaneuver nearly anything, or, you can have a big, bulky AC able to hold big, heavy, powerful weapons, heavily armored(literally), and slowly moving through the world, devastating those in it's path, like it's Jason Voorhees, or Michael Myers. Or, build anything in-between with different amount of weight, mobility, energy usage, and firepower. Also think about if you're comfortable fighting up close, meaning easy to hit things, harder to dodge, or sniping, or any range in between. And every weapon and targeting system(Fire Control System), has a range they work best at. The amount of options & stats can be overwhelming, but it can be very fun to build the best giant robot right for you, or the situation, mixing & matching parts to maximize the stats & abilities you care about, or build something balanced, and it can be very fun mastering that machine, to survive whatever challenge comes your way, with little to no costs to you...unless your build uses a lot of expensive ammo to cause devastation, then that's fair. And the Armored Core series has always been difficult, because you have master complicated controls/movements, fight dangerous enemies be them bosses or large groups, and in the middle of all this, you have to keep track of things in your mech, like energy left to do an action, energy recharge rate, ammo of all your weapons, timing the fire rate/reloading of your weapons, and your enemy's weapons, and setting up your movements & distance so your attacks are more effective, or just to make your opponents miss hitting you much, or at all. I hope this helps newcomers, and I hope FromSoftware brings back all the old games, with modern controls, on modern systems & PC, so more people can experience them. I would love to play all the games before Nexus, on a PC, and be able to buy Human+ in game, for a high price, instead of purposely building debt just to become a cyborg experiment. And other things to spend in game money on, like a base, or treasure. Be great if they also showed or added to the lore of other pilots, before, during, and after the Nexus generation of games.
I used to play Exteel competitively (Dead game from years ago) when I was 14 years old. Im happy to see this game that has potential and will most likely touch my inner child heart as Exteel used to..
Anyone else find it eerie that a company most famous with slow-paced melee Dark Fantasy can do fast-past shooter sci-fi so well (and apparently has been doing even longer than what their famous for)? There’s been so many disasters you actually forget that there’s talented people who actually make good games
They're not known just for Dark Souls, they made Bloodborne and Sekiro which are fast and extremely fast. They also did numerous armored core games in the past. They are versatile, they know how to make combat, no matter the format.
There's more mecha games in their DNA than Dark Fantasy, to be honest. Upwards of 60% of their catalog, honestly. The rest being ahistorical samurai/ninja games, cute side projects and Souls-likes. It's only been a 7 year break (okay, 13 since 4A, skipping over V/VD, but still!) after all.
@lahunica2726 On top of that, a lot of From's veterans cut their teeth on AC, including Miyazaki himself. This is a franchise close to their heart, so much so that I wouldn't be surprised if their recent catalog was a means to an end, building up the budget and credibility for them to do a new AC.

At a loss for words. I never thought I would see the day such a magnificent Armored Core game would be made. The voice acting, music, gameplay, story, graphics, aspects from previous games, all top quality. This is the AC magnum opus!

The best part of this trailer is it’s almost impossible to spoil the game. I cant make heads or tails of what the story is or what the hell is happening from the gameplay. All I know is that I need it now.

I played AC4 on the 360 as a kid, never wound up beating it, but always wanted to try again whenever I remembered the game. Excited to jump into AC for the first time since then.
I really think this game's going to blow away the expected numbers, just off of hype alone. This franchise is SO deserving of a revamp, and my goodness this looks AMAZING as their presented work! Great job guys, I already have my preorder in! haha

Finally, a new trailer to replay until launch day
I first tried Elden Ring and got to Fire Giant. Gave up, came back, and loved it. Played almost every souls game and even finished Bloodborne and Sekiro. I wasn’t initially gonna buy this but after looking at some gameplay it looked fun so I bought it. If anyone is seeing this, BUY IT. the controls are a little hard to get used to but once you know what’s going on you will look and feel cool playing this. If you like fromsoft’s other titles, it won’t be the same (obviously), but there are a lot of little mechanics that will make you feel right at home. havent finished it yet but it’s really fun.

Been a fan of the Armored Core series since the first one was on a demo disc back in 1997! Got the Collector's Edition preordered and am beyond excited to finally see AC back after all these years!
The soundtrack sounds phenomenal. Hopefully they release the CD and I can play this in my car and at home!

I'll admit that my first fromsoft experience was Demon's Souls, so I'm not quite as OG as some of the other AC fans, but after DS1, I decided to go back and play the AC games. I've been keeping up ever since.
For a while I thought there would never be one again, but now we're here. I can't wait. This is the first game I've preordered in almost a decade.

I cannot believe Armored Core still exists. I'm probably showing my age here but I was around when Armored Core first came out on the first Playstation and it came as one of the demo disks to get you to buy the game. I was poor back then as a kid so I couldn't buy the whole game, and just played the demo all the time. Lol
It's amazing to see that this game is still going in 2023. I'd play this game. Looks quite good.
My older brother and I did the same thing! We used to duke it out against each other in the arena making build after build trying to one up the others strategy. I cannot believe this game is coming out. HYPE
I played the demo on a borrowed demo disk and when I saw it on the shelf in one of the first game stores in my neighborhood, it was an instant buy. Bought it along with Mechwarrior 2 on the PS1.
When I was a kid I used to play the AC1 demo on one of the Playstation demo disks over and over and over.
I mean, there are plenty of franchises that are older and still trucking along. So it's not that unbelievable.

Dev like Fromsoftware deserves respect and appreciation, hence I bought both steam and PS5 Collector's Edition.
I agree to this, first I finished Elden Ring on PC, thrice and then I bought a copy for my PS5 and platinumed it there too. From Software for me is the developer of the decade, if there is one game series I could only play for the rest of my life it would be From Software and Resident Evil games.

As someone who enjoys mecha games, and will be a new Raven pilot joining the ranks of all the veteran AC players, I am looking forward to playing my first Armore Core game in just a few day. Been meaning to get into the series but never got around to picking up any of the games, so I am excited to see the series return with Fires of Rubicon.

FromSoft went back to the beginning for this masterpiece, and as a lifelong fan of both AC and From, I can say I will rest happy in death knowing I was able to play this magnum opus. THANK YOU FROM
I'm very late posting this. But I want to help anyone thinking about getting into this.
For those who don't know.
Most Armored Core games, including 6, are about mega-corporations, so powerful, they have become like governments, and they are always at war, fighting with, spying on, and sabotaging each other, over control of territory, or some resource.
An Armored Core, is a giant robot you pilot from the inside, a Mech. It gets it's name from the main piece, the chest piece known as the Core, that everything else attaches to, and where you sit. What makes an AC different from other prebuilt mass production mechs (Muscle Tracers), is that an Armored Core is almost completely customizable, with swappable parts, and you can build for certain situations, or build for a moving & fighting style that makes you happy.
You play as an independent mercenary with their own AC. You do missions even messed up ones, to earn money to survive this crazy world, pay off your debts, and more importantly, buy more expensive parts to experiment with, or just have if you need them.
As you start out as an independent mercenary, with your own cheap, basic AC, nearly no one really cares about you...but as you improve in skill, and perfecting your build, for you. These same corporations, that belittled you, start respecting you, then even begging you to side with them, then you become so god-like in ability, they try taking you out, because they see you as a threat.
And you just keep surviving all of these traps, suicide-missions, ambushes, and assassination attempts, until you become a force of nature, a wildcard, an Irregular, that can save the world, or destroy it.
That's Armored Core.
Oh, I forgot to mention.
You can build a lightweight and agile AC, that's like a racing machine, fragile, but able to outmaneuver nearly anything, or, you can have a big, bulky AC able to hold big, heavy, powerful weapons, heavily armored(literally), and slowly moving through the world, devastating those in it's path, like it's Jason Voorhees, or Michael Myers.
Or, build anything in-between with different amount of weight, mobility, energy usage, and firepower.
Also think about if you're comfortable fighting up close, meaning easy to hit things, harder to dodge, or sniping, or any range in between. And every weapon and targeting system(Fire Control System), has a range they work best at.
The amount of options & stats can be overwhelming, but it can be very fun to build the best giant robot right for you, or the situation, mixing & matching parts to maximize the stats & abilities you care about, or build something balanced, and it can be very fun mastering that machine, to survive whatever challenge comes your way, with little to no costs to you...unless your build uses a lot of expensive ammo to cause devastation, then that's fair.
And the Armored Core series has always been difficult, because you have master complicated controls/movements, fight dangerous enemies be them bosses or large groups, and in the middle of all this, you have to keep track of things in your mech, like energy left to do an action, energy recharge rate, ammo of all your weapons, timing the fire rate/reloading of your weapons, and your enemy's weapons, and setting up your movements & distance so your attacks are more effective, or just to make your opponents miss hitting you much, or at all.
I hope this helps newcomers, and I hope FromSoftware brings back all the old games, with modern controls, on modern systems & PC, so more people can experience them. I would love to play all the games before Nexus, on a PC, and be able to buy Human+ in game, for a high price, instead of purposely building debt just to become a cyborg experiment. And other things to spend in game money on, like a base, or treasure. Be great if they also showed or added to the lore of other pilots, before, during, and after the Nexus generation of games.

I used to play Exteel competitively (Dead game from years ago) when I was 14 years old. Im happy to see this game that has potential and will most likely touch my inner child heart as Exteel used to..

They're not known just for Dark Souls, they made Bloodborne and Sekiro which are fast and extremely fast. They also did numerous armored core games in the past. They are versatile, they know how to make combat, no matter the format.

There's more mecha games in their DNA than Dark Fantasy, to be honest. Upwards of 60% of their catalog, honestly. The rest being ahistorical samurai/ninja games, cute side projects and Souls-likes. It's only been a 7 year break (okay, 13 since 4A, skipping over V/VD, but still!) after all.
@lahunica2726 On top of that, a lot of From's veterans cut their teeth on AC, including Miyazaki himself. This is a franchise close to their heart, so much so that I wouldn't be surprised if their recent catalog was a means to an end, building up the budget and credibility for them to do a new AC.
