I'm curious if the ammo system for that gun revolves around brutalized executions that remove the skulls of weak enemies like zombies or the ones with rocket launchers. Kinda like the predator executions essentially.
Looking back from may 10th 2025, i notice there are few gameplay changes: 0:35 The slayer has the super shotgun instead of the normal shotgun we get in the final build. 0:41 the shield saw already has the saw upgrade apparently (we got it upgraded very early out of the gate in the final build.) 0:54 the doomslayer's eyes aren't yellow. This is likely due to the game not fully being done at that point. 0:55 the super shotgun was a lot more deadly as it took a whole chunk out of a mancubus not just its arm. 0:59 the Pulverizer has different sound effects and faster fire rate. 1:07 the Accelerator had different sound effects and a noticeably faster fire rate. 1:20 the level layout and enemy placements are different and level was much smaller 1:31 the slayer's visor completely obscures his face, and yellow eyes also aren't present

A shield is actually very heavy and very deadly on its own, being that it is a much larger piece of metal than the average sword or axe, it's easier to crush something with. When you have a shield, the sword in your other hand is clearly a distraction. Doubly so when you put chainsaw in your shield.

State of decay 3 and I’m pretty sure Fable remastered also said the same exact thing. Both bangers when they dropped the amount of detail in games now is insane. Bodies in games doesn’t respawn , they stay and rot over time.. the same with bullets they’ll penetrate a object and stay like that until it’s complete destroyed
The best thing I like about old Sci-Fi is that they didn't really know what to do with space. So they threw fantasy into space. So many times I see 70s space art with astronauts on planets with white castles, or a space shuttle landing on a primitive planet with a spear elf girl on a dinosaur.

@Ghostyfrost9688 unless you're running on a gpu from 4 generations ago you should have no problems. Doom eternal was so well optimised and ran so smoothly and this looks to be using the same engine. So with 5 years of further optimisation on something that was notorious for being able to run on a toaster you'll have no issues
After replaying eternal, in the second level, theres a section with mechs and titans that are all dead and/or non operational, they look very similar to the mech shown in the 2nd trailer and the titans as well. Very excited for this game!

A shield is actually very heavy and very deadly on its own, being that it is a much larger piece of metal than the average sword or axe, it's easier to crush something with. When you have a shield, the sword in your other hand is clearly a distraction. Doubly so when you put chainsaw in your shield.

@Ghostyfrost9688 unless you're running on a gpu from 4 generations ago you should have no problems. Doom eternal was so well optimised and ran so smoothly and this looks to be using the same engine. So with 5 years of further optimisation on something that was notorious for being able to run on a toaster you'll have no issues
