Thanks for the tips, got my tail blades setup with a little right pitch now like you said. My 180 slowly oscillates pitching backward and forward. Do you know how to tune that out? The behaviors described for the gain parameters are not fully clear to me. From what I gather from your explanation and the manual... my guess is reduce the cyclic I gain.
Go into the parameters by holding the sticks to the lower right hand corners, and push the bind button. Go to the first page of the menu. Drop the first two numbers, P and I down to 90 each. now push bind button to save. It will twitch. Now fly. Mine is at 90 now, but 88 is good too. Just leave the rest at 100. If you go to the second page, you can do the same for the rudder idf you are using a longer servo horn, or just need some adjustment. Hope that helps, Coe Show
Justin, I'm new to the Spektrum radios and I'm trying to figure out how to limit the travel of the tail servo after adding the longer arm. Adjusting the travel per the travel menu only seems to slow down the movement but does not actually limit how far the tail servo travels. The tail servo still binds. Is there something I am missing that will solve my problem?
I just got a fusion 360 bound to a dx9 and have slight tail wag . I try to adjust the gyro but doesn’t do anything , I even turned the gyro all the way down to zero and gyro still works on the tail on zero gain . What am i not able to adjust gain from my radio ? . I set up radio to how it says in the manual as well . Any ideas ?
It would be sweet if you zoomed in on your Radio to see p and I gains in the Forward programming on your ix12..i know the camera is on your head and done by your self, kind of Hard. Thanks again for all your Help!!
Which spektrum servo arm did you use. I have tried a number of the spektrum servos and can not find any that will fit. Like you I wish they had not cut off the servo arm.
Got a question for the fusion 180. Since i changed my headspeed to 90% instead of 75% the whole heli sometimes starts shaking at 0 pitch. Could that be too much play in plastic parts or you got some idears? Thanks allready
It sounds like vibration for sure. Usually the sacrificial parts that may be bent are feathering shaft/spindle, Main shaft, Tail shaft/pulley, and man gear damage as in missing teeth. Make sure its mechanically sound through and through.

My tail wags too much. And I just can’t fix it.
I already reduced the gyro-gain in the transmitter to 45. It did not help.
I will try you advice.

Justin is the tail plugs in on # 5 or 6? cant remember what one? on the AR6335 Receiver?
Justin, what setting are you on? to do this adjustment on your Ix12? is i can see your Radio

You could actually use larger 3s packs at 100% throttle and get much longer flight times. 3s 600mah be ideal if you can get them.
Any ideas how i could just get some servo horns that would work with the “nano lite” servos on the 180? I can’t find Spektrum horns anywhere 🤦🏻♂️
Buy a nano lite servo. It comes with about 4 different arms. Then you can use the servo for a crash some day.

Just gonna have to turn the volume up I guess. I’m telling you exactly what is on the radio.

I used the 3055 servo arms that come with a new SPM3055 servo.

I just bought the ix12. I like it. Still lots to learn. What do you think of your ix12?
Its pretty awesome, but I think it should have its own operating system instead of an app on android. It works, could be more reliable though.
