- I've had a ton of questions of how I get all of my helicopters to fly so well. I simply look for a perfect mechanical set up. Put the computer down and dig in with your hands and some tools to get your heli flying on rails. Watch as I show you how to get 2 degrees right pitch at neutral with any helicopter. Cool Vids. Tons of useful info. You mentioned your gain channel was inhibited. and like you also say you would normally adjust your gains through Fwd Prog. That said I believe the AS3X controllers still listens to the gain channel and uses it for triggering Bail Out. They say, Spektrum, it'll even right an inverted heli to within 4 deg. Oh n I like your iX12. Mines red and dat shits DA BOMB! lol
Hey this is pretty cool. Your pretty good. I've got a Blade 230 Smart. And it has a bad tail wag. It's a RTF and came with a DXs is anything I can do to adjust this ?
Realistically the tail is not the issue. It is the headspeed. I have never adjusted PID on a 230s. It doesn’t need it. The only way would be to use a Spektrum computer radio and adjust the Throttle curve to something with more headspeed. If you are flying at a low headspeed it will always hunt. Does it stay solid in stunt 2?

I noticed when i setup roll and pitch i get about a 2 to 2.5% difference from left to right and forward and back. I tried what you did to get the collective even, but Ele and Ail endpoints dont change anything

He started to say how to adjust the PID in the forward programming to get the Tail Wag out but then you kind of wandered off LOL does the P. I. D. Numbers go up or down to adjust gain like if I want to take some gain out to stop the wag or to get my 2 degrees of pitch?

Yes. I also make it 13 degrees each way.
I can't see any of your screens on the radio wish you could put it up on your TV or something so we could really see what your doing.. I have a buddy whos getting the 330s and i want to know how to adjust it to help him out. so your doing the pitch and all using the forward programming? or that FBL unit is different? also how do i get more faster response out of his B230s V2? I bought a blade 330s and am trying to bind my dx9 but my flight controller blinks red not orange?
Program the radio to the settings in the instructions. Put throttle stick at low position. Leave radio off. Put bind plug in FC. Plug in heli. Receiver is now blinking. Turn on radio holding the bind button. Pull bind plug out now. Done.
