If samsung isn't going to enable the tracking by default, they should include a free tag with their galexy phones to encourage people to turn on the service. They would probably sell a lot more tags that way.

Just lost my wallet in a cab in Vegas last week, had a slim Tile in it. It pinged probably 6-8 times in 3 hours until someone who was alerted actually found it, scanned the QR code and contacted me, got it back that same night. I’m here for a comparison wanting to switch to a larger network tracker (AirTag) so if I’m in a more desolate area it’s likely other iPhones will be around, but Tile has never done me wrong so far
Having tried all three in japan. Airtag wins on accuracy but not updated often. And samsung surprisingly isnt far behind at all. Esp considering its an iphone dominant market. So yeah, samsung has a solid lead over other androids in this regard Tile? Dont bother. Card has nice form factor. Thats it. Doesnt help.

The LandAirSea products are 10000x better. Totally different kind of device.
