Asalamualaikum Shiekh. May Allah reward you. I was wondering to eat shrimp and I have been going back and forth because I am following the Hanafi Fiqh in my country Trinidad and Tobago and I was Sooo confused. Then you did this and Allah sent it to me to watch and Alhamdulillah. Tomorrow I eat shrimp! In shaa Allah. Jazak Allah khair.

How was your experience with the SHRIMPS?
90% of people in Bangladesh follow the Hanafi fiqh and I can assure you everyone including the scholars of this school eats shrimp. Eating shrimp is makrooh was a ruling in the Hanafi school that was later abrogated.

Sheikh your lectures are excellent . I note with distress, the plastic water bottle. Sheikh please you are a role model to the Muslim ummah. Please sheikh may I suggest a container with tap water. Plastic water bottles are a massive source of pollution to our planet. You having a container with water from the tap and maybe ice if needed that you consume during your talks will send a powerful message to your audience and dawah . In Sha Allah you take this on board and help our planet

Sheikh, JazakAllah for this. Can you please double check and clarify the position you said that 'none of the Hanafi scholars said it is haraam,' did you mean shrimps there or non-fish seafood in general like crabs, squid, octopus etc. As the Hanafi scholars, by in large, did mention this second category is not permissible and haram to consume. Of course, you made your point clear with the 3 other schools, but this clarification for the Hanafi madhab is an important one to make.

Assalaamu a’alaykum Shaykh, Just to clarify, would sweet water eels and shrimps be halal for us to as well or is it just limited to just saltwater?
The Shaykh mentioned that anything from water-bodies is halal. So its not just limited to saltwater.
The Quran itself, is lays out what food is permissible and impermissible for us.
The Question of “if Shrimp Halal” ?
Didn’t the Prophet ( PBUH) say “ Every animal in the ocean is Halal for us” ?

You have to tell your audience, what is the point of doing Salat ul Tasbih, or Ishtekara etc (Nafil prayer) if they can't maintain the 5 daily prayers constantly and pray at the appointed time. The 5 daily Salaat is FARD. You can't forgo Fard prayer to do Nafil. Similarly, You can't do Tahajjud, if you do not pray Fajr. If you do that, you make NAFIL become Fard. You think Allah will accept your Nafil, in your dream. Allah says in the Quran, Enter Islam completely. As you are aware, when our prophet went for Mehraz when Allah did give us the 50 daily salaat, and then reduce to 5 after Musa who our prophet met did insist with our prophet to go back to Allah even for the 5 daily salaat, Our prophet was so shy to go back. Musa knew that even the 5 daily prayers would be difficult for us. It is true, look around us, how many people could wake up to do the Fajr salaat. You see it in the Mosque, may be one row, but when it comes to EID prayer, the mosque is so full that 2 Eid prayers are required. We are all a bunch of hypocrites. When Allah send calamities on us, we become puzzled.

Yes you're feeling hurt but is it worth destroying your family over something that was done before she even met you? Remember Allah forgives us all as long as we are sincere.
Read Quran and follow the sunnah is the core of Islam . People don’t understand and no so called sheikh tells people that Hadith is nothing more than historical record of prophet saw life .

If you read this, may I add to your answer to salatutasbih, that for the person who has chosen to follow the Hadith and pray that salat does not become complacent about the benefits of it as stated in the Hadith. Meaning, think that by praying this salat I have wiped all sins that I have committed and will commit during my lifetime. That is the impression I was given when I was first introduced to this salat. “Pray this at least once in your life and all your sins ever done or will do will be wiped”. dare I say that in that case we have found a substitute for Isaa AS in the Christian creed as their saviour!!!??? Having performed this prayer in good faith that Allah will reward them but not to become easygoing in their affairs that a giant sin-eraser is following them wherever they go and whatever they do, nor as a substitute for other kinds of nafel prayers!!!!

Both are Zinah. Any act of illegal sexual intercourse I.e. any sexual relationship with someone you are not married to is considered Zinah.

Fakhra Manzar In the video, the Shaykh said that all sea creatures are Halal and that even though the shark has “fangs” it is still halal as it lives in the ocean and can’t live outside of it. So it’s flesh and it’s other parts are halal. Hope that helps.

Quran 5:96 allows for the consumption of all game of the sea and it's produce. Since sharkfin is a form of game of the sea then it would be permissible. The Quran is very clear as to what and under what condition we should eat food. The only thing I have questions about is the consumption of dead seafood. I have seen no specific reference to this in the Quran, but I have the personal viewpoint that sea food found dead in the sea could be deceased and may be harmful for human consumption.

JazakaAllah khair for your response. What you said about dead seafood, it being halal is clear from a hadith in sahih bokhari where sahaba found a dead whale on the shore and they are from it, they also brought some meat back and the Prophet SAWS also ate from it.
Whereas the consumption of it being safe is for us to judge it's freshness or whether it's been rotting long. And Allah SWT knows best

I do NOT agree with the advice on the Haram Previous Relationship because she is ONLY Guilty if she did NOT tell the truth when Asked about her past; and if the man now divorced her, he too, now has a PAST that someone else might not want, IF you are in a blessed happy marriage, you are the Exception and NOT the rule, be appreciative to Allah(swt) that he chose her for you and visa versa, Hold against her what you Hold against yourself, otherwise you are not a Good Muslim in my book.
Shaykh advised to forgive and continue the marriage. He never said to divorce.
