This is one the most amazing upholstery work I have ever seen, you are very talented at your work, very skilled, the seat looks great, thanks for sharing.
Wow I'm absolutely blown away, this is literally art I'm scrolling and scrolling trying to find what I'm looking for and BAM this is 99% exactly what I want the only thing I'd personally want is a highland Bull leather stamp stitched in at the upper shoulder location for each seat and that's it the stitching the colors the fabric it's all perfect and absolutely beautiful I'm obsessed with this video truly art

That's great! I have always admired well executed auto upholstery. You nailed it here. Great to see a start to finish. I have never seen some of the process you show here. Thank you !
@@juiceslickrick, any chance of you operating or having a recommendation in the Tampa area? I would like to cover my leather back seat of my Tundra 1794 with Brazilian Brindle, and wrap the bucket seats along the sides.
i have and 1986 chevy c10 i have my seat frame built already its going to be a bench seat but look like buckets with a center consol. i want it like that blue one you done. what dose some like that cost i really like your work.
Truly amazing brother. That's true art work. I would love to have this done to my c10 bench seat in black leather... Price? . And How do I contact you.
@Alchemy Kustom Awesome work!!! is that 1/2 or 1/4 sew foam and do trim the foam out where the French seams are? How do you keep the bulk out of your French Seams?
Hi, awesome content, mood and experience. Thank you for share. I need to make the same stuff for my boat upholstery. Can you specify the distance that you keep from the transparent shape to the leather marks before you cut the leather and what reference you use to stitch the pieces together? Thank you a lot!!!
Thank you! When I trace the pattern with the clear vinyl I stay on the pattern exactly. When i transfer the pattern to leather I add 1/2” seam allowance
@@juiceslickrick ok perfect! Thank you for the tips and especially for the inspiration on how to achieve what I have in mind with a professional result! 🙏🏽🤟🏻🔥
beautiful work man! Im curious and learning, what are the little nibbles or punches you do around the edges before sewing? Im sure there is a reason.... Thanks in advance
What kind of a sewing foot is that for the Diamond pleats?! A double needle? I love watching your videos, its wild how you do killer work with both paint and upholstery. either one take so much time to get good at!
great work.... However, I would make 1 recommendation: You should try to use actual automotive foam. You can buy molded automotive foam for direct replacement (OE fitment) for domestic cars and trucks at relatively cheap price points. The reason is because automotive "molded foam" is significantly more durable than the slabstock/bunstock foam sourced for bedding and upholstered furniture. Even the best of the best from Qulux, 3.2 lb HR foam is "garbage" by comparison.
nice work on this video, hope my local customer aren't so cheap to paid for work like the ones you made, quick question , what is your top double stitch gauges you use?1/4 or3/8 , thank you
What are you using to make your patterns with? Your seats are so clean they look awesome. And the fact you don’t use welt makes them even cooler cause you know welt makes them easier to sew. I use old scraps of material for patterns but I want to try what your using. I really enjoy your videos there really helpful.

Dope. What kind of sewing machine do you use?
Nice job 👍 what’s the thickness on the bolsters?
This is art!!!!
@Alchemy Kustom Awesome work!!! is that 1/2 or 1/4 sew foam and do trim the foam out where the French seams are? How do you keep the bulk out of your French Seams?
Thanks! I use 1/2 on the diamond inserts and 1/4 on everything else. Yes I trim as much as I can out of the French seams
Great work, what is that leather material called?
Extraordinary Talent!
Thank you!!
Beautiful job. What was the plastic template material?
I think it's crystal clear table cloth vinyl.
Do you do private projects for customers?. I have a 2022 Peterbilt 389. I want to do a total custom interior in leather. A west Texas motif?.

Hey, do you have a pattern to download for how you cut the foam? Thanks!
beautiful work man! Im curious and learning, what are the little nibbles or punches you do around the edges before sewing? Im sure there is a reason.... Thanks in advance
Those are registration marks.
You light them up with each other when sewing to ensure everything is aligned. The tool Im using is a hog ear clipper
@@juiceslickrick that makes perfect sense, thanks for the quick reply!
How much is somthing like this ballpark range I’d travel for this work

Thanks man! 3/8. Only way to go in my opinion
Very very nice! Where do you order your leather from?
Thanks . leather is from Relicate flat distressed line and is more beautiful, soft in person.
When laying out your patterns do you allow for a 1/2" seam allowance before cutting out your patterns?. Thanks for the videos.
Yes . I cut the clear vinyl right on the foam line and add 1/2 when transferring to leather
@@juiceslickrick Thank you
That looks cool
You don’t put half inch seam allowance? And what grit did you sand it with? Thank you🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yes sir! 1/2 .. 50 and 100 grit on the die grinder
Very beautifull job
At 5:00 what's that you place on the seat to get your mold?
It’s just clear table top vinyl or boat window vinyl with a light aerosol spray glue to hold in place while tracking the pattern
@@juiceslickrick thanks bro!
What double needle machine is that? Thats next on my list to get!
It’s a consew p2339rb . It’s ok not great . If I were to do it over I would have bought a juke 1560 or 1560 clone.
Alchemy Kustom thank you!
What you think about the Thor double needle?
What plastic do you use for creating the templates??
What sort of hours goes into say that bench seat, doing everything from scratch like you did,? Just curious
Just a rough estimate maybe 15 hours
