Thank you for posting this video the not sparkling material is my vote....would like to add the tips you shared about the black marker makes sense to me and the magnet holding down the pattern is good one too...this video is a great help to me when I start doing part 3 of the center console build....thanks again and have a great weekend 😊
Your console is coming out great and thanks for watching buddy.
Nice touches. I like the color schemes.
Thanks buddy, it is very cool but could change. Lol thanks again
You make it look so easy Spanky 👍👀👍
I hope it doesn’t look to easy . Thanks for watching buddy.
Awesome job spanky, I like the sparkle fabric, kinda gives it that art deco look. I love those trim pannels around the seat. Those would look killer in a hot rod and louver them
Thanks for watching buddy. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The sparkle fabric is my favorite also.
I like the sparkly color for the interior myself . nice work on the eat back and lower trim !
Thanks for your comments and for watching. That color is my top choice
Very nice fab Mike!! Salute! Darker maroon for me!
Thanks for watching Larry, not sure yet but more coming soon.take care brother
Nice work. I like the less sparkly one. 👍
Thanks for watching my friend and sharing your thoughts. Stay tuned and see what i use.
I like me some glitter, but I say the ''less'' sparkly one, I like that one with the carpet color sample better. Love the work! Very inspirational!
WOW thanks so much for watching and sharing your thoughts. Stay tuned and see what I use.
Seat is coming along nicely! I like the sparkly material if it's an accent and more solid if it's abundant. ;)
Lookin forward to the progress!
Thanks Jimmy. Yes not using much of it. Just a slash. Thanks brother
I saw those seat frames last video on this and thought they look familiar. Same bones as a conversion van captain chair, love what you are showing us so far can't wait till it is sewing day!!
Thanks brother. I’ve never seen a van seat apart. I just copied some I had used before just to see if I could. I’ve got a ways to go before stitching them up. But coming soon
Looks great & thanks for the tips! Go the non sparkly one!
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please keep following the channel.
Nice. I’m liking the darker color for contrast.
I think I may try that style of seat for my belair.
Yes go for it. Frames I made but can be found. I can provide a few places to check. More to come so please keep watching.

Sparkly is best. But I'm learning a ton from your videos, thankyou for making them. I feel close to ready, minus an upholstery sewing machine, to get my 47 chopped ford interior started
Awesome, I appreciate you watching and sharing your thoughts and comments. Please keep it up.

Nice work brother, that interior is gonna look great. I prefer the not so sparkly one. 👍🏻
Thanks for watching brother, not sure yet but going to sew up a sample soon.
I am learning a lot from you. Keep up the great work.my opinion on the fabric would be the non sparkly. But it's your car and Iam sure it will look great. Thank for making all this video's
Thanks so much for your support and comments. Please keep watching. So glad to help.

As always your tips and techniques are awesome and extremely helpful! I would chose the darker plain fabric, it looks to compliment carpet better..
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts and comments.
Hey Spanke. Yeah, measure and check twice. I should have watched this video this morning. I rolled a bead in a piece of metal today and sure enough, it was on the wrong side. Well, I know the rest.
I think the not shiny looks better. The shinny looks like a nicer richer color, but I think it is because of the monitor. By the way, I take a large T-shirt.😊
Thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁
Thanks so much for watching and sharing your thoughts. Yes mistakes happen but it’s a great way to learn. Keep it coming!

You make it look so easy Spanky, sure helps having all the cool tools too! Love the colour combination for the upholstery, kinda like the sparkly orange for the trim just like back in the fifty’s and sixty’s where they used a lot of sparkly material but guess in the end you’d need to lay a larger piece of it to see how looks, maybe the plain one would look better. Anyway thanks for the video and sharing your tips! Have a great weekend Spanky!
Thanks for watching, it’s not hard but not easy. Yes going after that 60’s vibe with the modern twist

Definitely use the sparkle material. 💯
My first choice so far. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts
Not so sparkly. I just need to come hang out and learn some tricks of the trade. Great video.
Thanks buddy, we need to hang out more. Hope you’re doing great. Thanks for watching.
I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the seat build. Looking good so far. Thanks for showing us how you do it all. I appreciate you listing your supplier. I've already been checking his website out. I didn't see the leather on his site. Is that where you find your hides?
I buy from a few different places. Albright upholstery supply is my main supplier. The one I mentioned is my foam guy. He does carry a few things that I use. Thanks so much for your support brother.
@@SpankysHotRodsandCustoms Absolutely! Thanks for doing what you do and for the additional info. I appreciate it.
First time viewer quite impressive work ...just something id like to know... the back panel made of sheet metal...whats the chances of it tin canning would a bead roll or few on the panel prevent it that...as far as what vinyl or leather to use reckon the not so sparkly would be ideal considering you making a back pocket as well...maybe too blingy
Thanks so very much for watching and sharing your comments. Great point , With the “L” brackets on the panel and the sides welding to it it’s very solid. I have bead rolled them before for the design. Very good point but it should be fine.” Famous last words “ . I skipped it this time because with the French seems and pockets I was scared there would be to much going on back there. Please keep watching and continue to share your thoughts.

Spanky, you highlighted and air drier in one of your videos and I can't seem to find it now. Would you tell me the name of the company and the video you showed it in? Thank you
Steel camel is the company. Tell him you saw the video he was giving a discount when it came out.
Nice job not so sparkly question what ounce leathed are you using
The leather come in hides for upholstery use. I guess it depends on what company it comes from and or the purpose of use. Good question and I’ll see if I can find a better answer on Monday. Thanks for watching and asking your questions.

Great video Mike! Those seats are turning out awesome! I preferred the non sparkly material, but I’m sure which ever one you use will look great!😎
Thanks for watching Matt, well I’m learning a certain way but not sure yet. 😳
Nice job on the Seat Fab!! I like the plain fabric!! Shiny sparkly fabric reminds me of an old Schwinn bicycle seat!!☻
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please keep it coming.
