    Received a Pro for Christmas. First cutter I've ever seen or used. I LOVE it! It's been and continues to be a learning experience. One fear I have is the material not loading far enough into the machine. Can you please show this? Does the material stop under the roller bar, does it just meet the cutting strip, does it cover the cutting strip, etc?.... I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your videos!!! Thank you so much for educating me and making me comfortable with my machine!!!!

    I got the impression that the cameo pro 24" was a huge waste of time and energy and material but since they fixed the loading feature and I am having some hope. I would like to cut 3mm sand blast media but last I tried it slipped all over the place and maybe I need to do several cuts with that. I especially hope to cut Upholstery leather as well. If I had my way I would have a 6 x 4 cutting table that also used peizio ink printing. It seams to me the only media that will actually cut right would be tracker feed media with holes on the edges

    im trying to cut a letter size 8.5x11 vinyl, however the machine keeps feeding a little too much to the point that it loses grip of the paper and then the roller would keep on rolling trying to roll the paper in during the registration mark locating stage. How to fix this? Im setting the paper size exactly 8.5x11 in sillhouette studio.

    Do you recommend always using the mat for fabric? I know there is a matless feature but I feel like the fabric would be easier to slip around. I’ve not bought this yet, just kind of researching, but it’s looking like the silhouette cameo 4 is the best option for me. I’ll mainly use only for fabric, do you have recommendations on which would be best also?

    • @SilhouetteSchool
      @SilhouetteSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there, yes, you would always use a mat for fabric. I'd take a peek at our blog posts about cutting fabric here: www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/search?q=fabric As far as which machine, that is going to depend on the size. The Cameo 4, the Plus and the Pro are all the same machine, just getting progressively bigger.

I’ve emailed silhouette, but haven’t got a response yet. It seems like the roller bar isn’t lowering enough for the rollers to grab the htv. Any suggestions?

    I find the Silhouette software superior to Design space, but I find the cameo very hard to use. it is not very intuitive. tells you to do test cut. when that fails and you try again - it cuts in the same spot. using the autoblade won't properly cut. cuts one side and not the other and then you have to rip your test cut out of the backing.
    very frustrating. for now I'll have to save my design to SVG and then use my cricut maker til I can figure this thing out.

    • @SilhouetteSchool

    I want to correct you on one thing, I listened to where you place the material and ended up cutting my mat. The material needs to be placed 1 line over into the non adheasive area on the mat not just on the sticky or you will cut your mat. So you should see the numbers but you'll have a small strip that's not on the sticky
    I haven't had any issues loading that cutting mat, but I'm having issues with the vinyl, I don't know if its the blade or what but all my small pieces end up lifting and sticking to the blade which I never had happen with the cameo 3. I have 94 decals to cut and this is getting aggravating lol

    I love this video and have watched it several times. I love my machine and everything it's done for me so far. However, every time I try to cut a larger project (which was the point of me buying the larger machine) my vinyl starts straight but then about half way through (12" or so) it starts rolling through crooked. I have tried adjusting the rollers to different positions, loading it differently, adjusting speeds...nothing seems to be working.. I can't find any videos or tips on how to stop this from happening.. starting to wonder if it's truly something I am doing wrong because no one else seems to be having this problem.
