Thanks for this video. I just got the Pro for Christmas and had no idea how to use the roll feeder, and there isn't much info on this model yet since its so new. Thanks!
Hi Can you do a material loading video if you are not using the full 24"? I am having problems loading the machine with the sticker paper and having it shift during cutting and reading the registration marks so that it cuts correctly. Thanks
Oh my, I was actually wishing it was bigger than 20 inches last year and they go and fully blew my mind with it! Yayyyyh!! I can't wait to get one now!
omg i so want one.im in the uk and i think i will get a flight over to the us and bring it back.then i will have to isolate for 2 weeks and with the cameo pro.sounds like a plan !!! great video melissa x
This may be a dumb question but where was the roll feeder cross bar. I didn't see it in the box my box and I didn't see you pull yours out of the box but you have one. Am I missing it somewhere?
If you are asking if you can do wide format - 24" print and cut on the CAMEO Pro - the answer is yes. I have used it with my Roland BN20a. Here's more info www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/2022/01/how-to-print-on-roland-bn-20a-and-cut.html
I got one! Kind of bummed out the usb cord is so short, cord doesn't reach so I can't plug it in to my computer and my computer doesn't have bluetooth, needs to be about 4' longer.
I'm a purse maker. Will this cut garment weight leather, and .95 MM marine vinyl? Some bagmakers have told me that their auto cutting machines don't do a good job cutting strap connectors or zipper plackets. They don't cut all the way through the leather or vinyl. Also, will it cut vinyl decal material (for auto/RV decals?) I'd love to see demos of these materials.
No you’d have to go with the Glowforge. While this cuts thicker than the cricket maker it’s not going to do the thicknesses you need. The Glowforge is $$$$$$$ but considering your business you’d be way happier.
You can Pre Order it on the swing design website. I bought mine several months ago. I hope this will help. Clink the link below. www.swingdesign.com/products/silhouette-cameo-4-pro-24-w-38-sheets-oracal-vinyl-htv-pens-guides?_pos=8&_sid=6e1b2dd3b&_ss=r
They have finally landed in the UK, though apparently only 48 in 1st delivery But I've managed to order mine; site I bought from only had 3 and they are now gone My trusty Cameo 1 is still going strong after all these years, but oh am so looking forward to my Pro arriving next week
Thank you for the video. Complete newbie here. When you were placing the cutter, I'm not sure what you meant by make sure there is no gap. It appears there is a normal little gap at the top. I'm not sure if this is what you meant or another gap to look for . Thanks
See #3 here and the photo..it has to do with how the blade is in the carriage. www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/2019/12/fixes-for-7-common-silhouette-cameo-4.html
I got one from Michaels today. After opening it and plugging it in it wouldn't power on. I looked at unboxing videos and clearly the sold me a display model. My machine had no protective covering nor blue tape. The triangular brown cardboard box that held the tools also was not in the box. The chord is dirty. They still won't accept it back even for an exchange. Funny thing I went in for the 4 and was told only had the pro. Call back and all of a sudden they have the regular 4. They said it was an oversight. Money lost and no machine.
@@SilhouetteSchool Hi. We were given a new machine. Another manager at the store, who wasn't there that particular day, confirmed that the machine had been damaged out and shouldn't have been sold.
I hate it. I just got it and can see a big issue is the roller does not have enough pressure to hold down the huge slippery mat. Yes I locked correctly and it’s on a big table to support the mat front and back. I even put masking take on the edges to give it more grip and no matter what I do it always slips a tiny bit making two passes impossible. Or if I needed to just cut it twice in one spot it will have moved a tiny bit and the cut will be off. I’ve tried giving lore support with extra books in the front and back. It’s just ridiculous that it can’t support its own nat without slipping. I can’t return it now. Such a waste of money. Going back to my cameo 3.
that is not the pressure. the rollers are flawed as they do move.. on my cameo 3 the same thing so I hot glued it so it would not move and had to always use the mat
OmGosh I’m pulling my hair out mine arrived and I’m unboxing and there is no instructions on how to set up I literally need step by step instructions for the cameo pro
Does this do Bluetooth? I'm over USB and serial ports and damn com errors and cannot open port errors! Its loud where I am at so I cant hear this video
It does but it stops working and takes hours to connect back even if you trouble shoot. If you get this you'll need the machine close enough to connect it with a wire so it can connect back.
I was thinking the same thing 😂😂😂 I have a cricut maker and air 2! My partner has brought me a portrait 3 as I wanted to dabble into silhouette because I was getting fed up of the cricut.. and now I see this and I’m like.. YES replace air 2 with cameo 4 and maker with this 24” beast! I’ll be set!
Awesome!! My wife is gong to be so pumped about this!!!! Got hers ordered!!
Give it to her for Christmas☺
You're a good man

So jealous!! Custom vinyls at 24inches!!!🤑🤑
Very happy with my cameo 4 but damn..that pro twice as big is a beast will get mine very soon!
Why are everyone saying that they can’t find a Matt to fit if it comes with a Mat?
Setup and looking for the next one for my first cut!!!❤️ Thank YOU!!

Does they have longer mat? Can it cut rigid plastic sheet, 0.3mm? 36 inches long?
The longest mat for the Pro is 24"
It looks huge! This is so exciting! I hope to own one someday
Luv if Fam jus got mine yesterday
Thinking of getting this bad boy.. Does it have the cutting blade on back of it?
Is the pro compatible with 24 inch printers?

@@SilhouetteSchool Just checked it out thank you so much for the info
Omg it looks huge... I’m concerned as to where I’d place it when it’s actually cutting a job however I do want one ASAP! I want bigger cuts!!!
Can you use the pix scan mat on all of the machines or do you have to wait and get a new one for the 4 pro
I got one! Kind of bummed out the usb cord is so short, cord doesn't reach so I can't plug it in to my computer and my computer doesn't have bluetooth, needs to be about 4' longer.
You can get extension usb cable from Amazon and hope that works
@@ashleyo212 oh okay thank you
Short bungee cord equals locking mechanism! Great review!
How will it work with mylar; want to make glass patterns with one.
How often does a cameo pro are released? Should I wait for the 5pro?
I haven't heard anything about any new machines. I wouldn't wait.

Will this cut leather like the Cricut Maker? If so, what blade would I need?
You could live in the box.
there are so many different Cameo 4 Pro Bundles which one is better then the other ?
That really depends on your budget and what you want to use your machine for! They're all great options.
