Thank you for the helpful tips on why the machine wouldn't cut my htv (blade settings). My question is.....why doesn't silhouette fix this issue with an update? It sure would help us newbies trying to learn and cut down on waste and frustration.

100% of the time, only carriage 1 is useful. I hope silhouette will release blade similar to deep point blade for carriage 2. Cricut has it, so much better than kraft blades.

You want the matte side up, shiny side down. The shiny layer is your transfer mask.

I just bought Cameo 4, I have Cricut Maker know that machine well. Just wanted to branch out, they say cameo hard to learn. I love making tshirts and sweatshirts. They say cameo hard to learn, but going to watch all your videos. Thank you!!! I do need a heat press I 've been using easy press ready for heat press. Can you recommend one?

Can you use this machine with only the auto blade plugged in? I just bought this machine off ebay and realized I didn't research enough lol

@SilhouetteSchool I can't get it to cut so I was just wondering if it is because there are setting for the 2nd cartridge even though there isn't one installed? Or is it because I need to purchase a new 1mm blade

Hey Melissa, great video as always. I've now moved up to a new cameo 4 plus from my portrait 3. For some reason it is cutting in a entirely different location on the matt ? Do you know why ? I've made sure the blade is in correctly as you have shown us. Thanks Tony

You can use the Silhouette Go mobile app but it's not nearly as robust as the desktop app.

why does the print and always fail? on the cameo 4
