    Snatch grip made lifting off the floor so much easier for me. Deficit deadlifts just feel like a lower back movement for me.

      Randy Boudreau snatch grip deadlifts are an excellent exercise for this as well. Glad that you found a solution!

      Agreed, snatch grip deadlifts and underrated

      Paused deadlift works for me. Deficit actually feels easier than normal, so I skip deficit deadlifts.

    Nice video! What about building the quads?? Snatch Grip Deads too😈

      Strengthening the quads could help too, probably more so for sumo deadlifters.

    I had the same problem. I switched to sumo. Problem solved. :P
    I tried paused DL, 5cm from the floor, but that made it worse! Deficit DL's did help a bit but not a whole lot.
    So now I switched from conventional to sumo and I feel quite strong off the floor now. :)

      @Stephen Mikus I don't know if my speed from the floor has increased with sumo. But I feel much stronger in the first few cm's that the weight comes off the floor.

    Has anyone tried paused deficit tempo deadlifts? Or is that trying to do too much and it’s better to focus on one thing at a time?

      It sounds like a lot in one exercise, but if you feel like it would benefit you, why not give it a go?

      @@ReactiveTrainingSystems yes,that is alot at ones. However, very benificial. Similiar to pause bench & pause squat. Makes for less time training and it help refine your form and critiques techniques.

    Why would he not wanna do deficits? He doesn’t want to do the number one thing which would help solve his problem

    • @ReactiveTrainingSystems
      @ReactiveTrainingSystems  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      We will follow up with him, but it's likely that he simply has had bad experiences with those exercises.

    Deficit deadlifts are fun, though. He's really missing out
