1)is it possible to peak earlier if you dont sleep and eat well?
2)is it possible to peak in different weeks in different programs?
3)if you peak before a block is finished ,the best thing to do is to deload the following week and then continue the block with the exact intencities and volume ?
4)if you deload by dropping the intencity and volume ,how much that drop in percentagies will be?
    thanks in advance

      1) I wouldn't call it a "peak" in terms of adaptation. You just didn't really adapt to the training fully.
      2) It's possible, but I find that when the programs are roughly the same difficulty, then the peak is quite similar regardless of exercises, volume, or intensity.
      3) It depends on where you're at in relation to the program. The two most common options are to pivot then start a new development block, or if the competition is close by, you'd do maintenance instead until the competition is finished.
      4) Difficult to answer in this format. See some other videos on Pivot blocks.

Boredom is motivation, high stress and fragility are related to self reported recuperation. I'm left wondering why these last 2 deserve being separated into different categories, if that's what's happening? For coach/lifter communication?

When peaking for a competition should the training days be arranged so that the last exposure of the dev block priority 1 day(s) falls on the competition day?
    E. g. the competition is on saturday so one would arrange the training day as such that in the whole dev block comp SQ/comp BP is on saturdays comp DL is on sundays.

lets say your not a powerlifter per se, but a person who’s a lifelong weightlifter who wants to continuously get stronger, if i understand you right the “peaking “ phases of training blocks are a stagnant time? i think the entire idea of training blocks and periodization is baloney. if training a certain way makes you stronger... never stop!

I wish it were that simple. The thing is whatever works now will gradually stop working. That process of "no longer working" is predictable and essentially what we're talking about with "peaking" in the context of emerging strategies.

boy that’s depressing. so a mans strength is limited by time he can train, human physical limitations, and then the ageing process which begins a backward strength progression. i can understand why many folks are tempted by steroids.

@@jefferylord3068 Yes, strength is limited by those things, but you can still develop it. That's not my point. What I'm saying is "do what works" is fine, but understand that as soon as you start doing it, its effectiveness starts to fade. ES is a systematic way of doing what works while also seeking out the next thing that will work.
