How to Resurface Brake Rotors Off Vehicle

- In this video we will be learning what a brake rotor is, how they work, how and why they wear, and last we will be going over how to properly resurface rotors off the car using a brake lathe. We will be going over a hub-less rotor in this video and reviewing each step in the process from inspection and set up to preparation before installation.

Thank you for putting this great video together. Where are you located ? I want to bring my brake rotors to you to do the resurfacing.
We are located out of California and unfortunately we do not resurface rotors for the public. However, if you don't have access to equipment to do it yourself, there are normally shops in many areas who can help you out.
Do you find that one side of the rotor is more out of spec than the other side?

Yes, you absolutely can. The brake lathe we used in the video can be set up to resurface brake drums very easily.
U wash the rotor with water and soap..the garage use brake cleaner after the install the disk on the car no oily mark from the finger
