PARTS BUYING GUIDE: SPRINGS AND ELASTOMERS
Hello what an Amazing job you done i was wondering if it would be possible to use hall sensore instead of potentiomètre ? Because i was searching for a diy 3 pedals set and your work is so Amazing i want to do it
Hi, thanks you. No you can't use hall sensor
amazing
Thanks
How much does it cost all together? A rough approximation would be helpful. Thanks
Hi,
Between 80€ and 150€.
I just bought these plans and I can't find anything in the materials to tell me what process to use for 3d printing or the recommended material. Can you tell me that or tell me where to find it in the download package I purchased?
Hi Steve, thanks for your purchase. 😉The recommanded material and infill is indicated in the name of the .Stl file. The Pla or Abs is recommended. The 3D printed pedal files are in the folder Production > 3D Printed Edition
@@diysimstudio8225 Ok. Mine has infill at 100% where recommended but nothing for parts that don't require 100% infill. None of mine have any mention of material, though you've given me that info so I'm good there. I'm getting crazy quotes for 3d printing these so if I go that route I might just buy a 3d printer and do it myself. I've been looking for a reason to get one! Thank you.
@@stacarter if the infill is not indicated, then you can use the infill you want, the minimum is 20%
im here with that as well allthough not for this particular project :) I wanted to make myself a racing wheel and shifters for sim. Bought a Creality ender 3 last month and I'm having a blast doing everything :))) all for under 100 euros :D + materials another 20 or so @@stacarter
What orientation do you print the pedal arm aka "mobile part"? I bought the files but I would really appreciate 3mf pictures of the build plate with orientations or supports where needed
Hello,
I think the mobile part should be printed on the side.
@@diysimstudio8225 the side of the mobile part a small round section that protrudes out which would then need a lot of supports
Is there a version of the mobile part for 3d printing where you just use washers instead?
@@afkafkafk There is not mobile part without sides washer, sorry.
@@diysimstudio8225 What about Production -> Optional 3D printed Parts -> Alternative Massive Mobile Part?
I purchased the project but it doesn't indicate how many kg the load cell should be, can I use a 50 kg one or would it be too sensitive?
Hello,
I don't recommend a load cell weight under 100kg. Don't worry, the calibration can be set in the setup of your game. The informations about the load cell compatibility is indicated here : www.diysimstudio.com/produit/diy-sim-racing-pedal/ in the "PARTS COMPATIBILITY" section.
Best regards,

@@diysimstudio8225 Thank you very much, I hadn't noticed that part, my lack of attention
@@tiago.32g50 You're welcome. 😊

The web site work perfectly, I don't understand your comment.
